Daisuke peered over to Koichi. "Heh, Copycat's in for fun. Jin explained those damn things," he commented, pointing to the doll. "Aren't they supposed to draw out the spirit of your zanpakuto into the real world or something like that?" It's a good thing she's not using that thing on me, he thought. I'm not sure what's going on, but I hear it's pretty tough when they're dragged out with that thing.

Daisuke paused for a moment, reflecting on the year that's already gone by. The majority of it was spent training, aside from a short spat at the beginning where he had to keep track of Nel. She was finally sent back to Hueco Mundo, much of Daisuke's relief. After that was when he began his training. Jin began it, teaching him a couple of things, but the rest was mostly Yoruichi-san. Let's hope it pays off when we go back, Daisuke thought.

-----

Meanwhile, Jin would've been found meditating in his personal quarters. That is, if he'd allowed it. He'd explicitly told everyone that he had left, only to sneak back in and lock his door behind him. Now he found himself seated crosslegged, staring at his sword as it lay stretched out before him. His breathing was steady as he focused upon the weapon...no, tool he used to keep the peace. A weapon is designed to kill. A tool merely aids in the application of a user's will, regardless of direction. This mission to Hueco Mundo was not a mission to kill anyone, even if that happened along the way. It was a mission to save a lost comrade. I only came back with half a team, Daisuke thought as he picked himself up. I was unable to save one of them, but there is chance for the other. I will bring Minna back to the Soul Society. His breathing steady, he closed his eyes as he recited the pact he'd made with his blade long ago. "Forests of old and time forgotten, let us remind these unruly men. When chaos reigns and despoilers appear, make it known for all to hear. To silence the strife, hear my plea." He reopening his eyes, focusing on the sheath of Shuzuka Hayashi as he set a hand lightly upon the side. "Be still..." he murmured, picking up the blade as he stood.

After attaching his zanpakuto to his belt, he stepped out, dissappearing as he began moving faster than many of the untrained could track as he used shunpo. Koichi and Daisuke should be having their final lesson right about now. I should go take a look,[/i] he thought as he headed for the training area he knew Yoruichi would take them.

A knock upon his door stirred Dietor out of his thoughts and directed his attention towards the little entryway where the sound had come from. He had been sitting upon the balcony that overlooked the white wastes outside of Las Noches for quite some time now, his form laying rather languidly upon a simple chair. It was almost as if he owned the place instead of Ulquiorra. But then again, that wasn't really that odd considering that the Cuatro Espada was almost NEVER inside of his own quarters to begin with. He was usually off doing... whatever it was that he did. Dietor may have been posing as Ulquiorra's lone Fracción, but not even he truly knew all there was to know about that mysterious Arrancar. And quite frankly, he didn't even really want to know. Better safe than sorry in that respect.

Another knock followed by a meek-sounding "D-Dietor? Can I speak with you for a moment?" prompted the "Fang Assassin", as he had come to be called by some of the lowlier Arrancars throughout Las Noches, to rise out of his chair and head towards the door before opening it. And much to his surprise, although he could already sense her reiatsu before ever touching the doorknob, he found that Starke's little Fracción, Lillinete, had been standing on the other side. Now what could she possibly want here? He could remember times when she had acted all but terrified of his very presence, yet here she was standing before him. With Starke not present and apparently out of her own free will.

Curiouser and curiouser...

It was almost enough to make Dietor arch an eyebrow rather comically. "Hello, Lilinette." he began carefully upon examining the little Fracción. The trace of a curious frown was hidden beneath the mask fragment hiding the lower portion of his face. He clearly wasn't used to receiving "social calls" from fellow Arrancer, being what he was, so that only made him assume that something urgent had come up. But even so... He couldn't help noticing that bashful look on Lilinette's face. That just struck him as being... odd. Very odd. And also somewhat unsettling, if his gut instinct was right about what was going to happen next. "Is there something you need?" he added on gently before taking a step back to allow the little Arrancer passage into his quarters. "You can also come in if you want to."

Shana had been outside of the palace, standing about a hundred feet above the rebuilt fifth pillar, which had been destroyed in one of her sparring sessions with Tenntou. She felt a familiar reiatsu appear and decided to apologize for having wandering off.

"You look a bit more than annoyed. What's on your mind?" she asked.

-----

Lillinette blushed a bit when Dietor spoke, but she somehow managed to keep what composure she had.

"I was wondering if, um...would you like to join me for dinner tonight?"

At any other time, the request would've been a bit unsettling, given the girl's stature, but over the last year she had matured a bit physically. She was now only a few inches shorter than the 'Fang Assassin', her chest had filled out a bit as well, giving her the appearance of a sixteen year old high school girl. This appearance was further enhanced by her newest choice of attire. Her outfit was no longer the simple open vest and bikini-like panty, but something that was remeniscent of a school uniform.

The top had a v-neck that exposed a bit of clevage, but not so much to be considered indecent, and had the image of a wolf emblazoned on the back. The lower piece was a pleated skirt that reached to mid-thigh. Heck, she'd even had her hair grow out to the middle of her back.

"Would you be interested, Dietor-Kun?"

-----

Koichi opened his mouth to complain that he'd been able to manifest his Zanpakutou, but his mother held a finger up to silence him.

"I know you can manifest Kureha already, Koichi, but you haven't yet masterd your Hollow Zanpakutou to its fullest. You are to master it in three days, having Kureha manifest herself with the doll to be your instructor. And as for Pierce, well...I have a special regemind in mind." Yoruichi said as she held up a kodachi.

Koichi involuntarily shuddered, knowing that adding a weapon of any kind to his mother's hands while she had her Shunko active spelled trouble for the medical corps.

-----

A sudden jolt of weight applied itself to Jin's shoulder, but the happy-go-lucky innocent voice that accompanied it could unsettle even the sturdiest of nerves at times.

"Where ya goin', JJ?" Yachiru asked from his shoulder.

Tenntou looked at her, "Well, I was wondering why you took off...what were you doing Shana?" She asked as she jumped off landing on the ground lightly holding her scythe menacingly as she normally held it. The scythe recognizing her Fraccion. "I was just thinking on the things that happened long ago, I feel things are going to come at it again." She said as she touched her mask it reacting as the rest of her own spiritual power. There was something stirring in the air, she wondered if any of the others could feel the effect carrying through the wasteland they called home.

"Mmkay," Daisuke warbled, "why do I suddenly feel a sense of impending doom? I mean, seriously," he smirked, eying the kadachi, "what're you planning on doing with that?"

It was one thing to spend a year training; it was something else entirely to have this suddenly pop up wihout notice. I hate surprises, sometimes, Daisuke thought nervously.

-----

Jin lurched forward, but caught himself on the door frame as he steeled his nerves against shouting at the lieutenant of 11th Division. "JJ?" he noted instead, "still coming up with random names I see." Reaching up, he plucked the small shinigami off his shoulders and held her at arms length. "If I had known to expect the company of lieutenant-chan, I would've brought sweets," he chuckled, forcing the laugh. While on the one hand he was as irritated with her presence as the next serious person, he knew well enough that she wasn't purposefully annoying. At least, he hoped she wasn't cause that would imply a certain amount of cunning he didn't want to attribute to the child-sized shinigami.

If anything, at least she's good for lightening the mood, he thought as he realized how stiff his shoulders were with his serious thoughts. But that would insinuate giving her a purpose to stick around, so we'll leave that alone.

"So why do I find you attacking my shoulders?" he queried as he set Yachiru down, straightening back up to fix his collar. "Isn't there someone far more interesting than me you could," he paused for a moment, considering his words. He intended on saying "go bother" but knew that wouldn't end well. "Someone you could go and give a nickname to?" he replaced, using her tendency everyone was well aware of.

Well... This was certainly quite a surprise. Two surprises, actually. The first surprise was the fact that Dietor found himself being asked out on a date, by Lillinette of all people, and the second surprise was that Lillinette had appeared to have grown up quite a bit since the last time Dietor had seen her. That in itself made him blink rather owlishly at Lillinette upon taking a second and more closer look at her, both because of her invitation and because he had never heard of an Arrancar possessing the ability to age naturally. The only other similar case was Neliel Tu Oderschvank, but Dietor could hardly call that natural due to Nnoitra's and Szayel's involvement. But then again... Dietor wasn't exactly concentrating too hard on the specifics like that at the moment.

What he was concentrating on, however, were Lillinette's new and improved "assets", so to speak. And he was starting to find them rather distracting as he kept on noticing how much she had changed, despite his normally cool and purely professional attitude. It was almost enough to make him stutter when he opened his mouth to speak again.

Almost.

"Perhaps so." was all he replied before he narrowed his eyes thoughtfully and crossed his arms over his chest, his shoulder coming to lean against the side of the doorway. "Although, I have to ask... What brought this on all of a sudden? And what does your Espada know of this?" He still wanted to ask Lillinette how it was possible for her to grow out of her previous child-like appearance, but there were other questions that he had deemed far more important than that. Not only was Lillinette the Primera Espada's loyal Fracción, but she was also his own Zanpakutou on top of that. That just had to come with some pretty hefty complications. Complications that Dietor needed to sort out first before he would even consider the thought of giving her a positive answer. And that was still assuming that he would accept her invitation even afterward. Truth be told, Dietor was out of his element in situations like this one. He had just never had the time nor the desire to fully experience these sorts of things, just as it was likely with the vast majority of other Arrancar in Los Noches.

Why was it that he always seemed to have just the strangest luck with women? First that kiss on the cheek from Halibel and now this from Lillinete... Dietor wasn't sure if he should be flattered or just plain weirded out by all this strangeness.

"I felt something odd in the air." Shana said, the moonlight hilighting the silvery stripe that ran down the center of her hair. "Something big is going to happen. I just know it."

-----

"Ken-Chan said I should go play somewhere for a bit. He's taking a nap!" Yachiru said with a big grin. Then, she became serious, which was rare enough. "Besides, there's a green haired Arrancar lady asking about Kitty."

-----

Yoruichi only smirked at the boys' reactions.

"I can only train you so much using only my Shunko. For your last lesson, you'll be facing me and my Zanpakutou."

Mama's gonna use her sword? He's screwed. Koichi thought. Then he stabbed the doll with Kureha, simply wanting to get this over with.

-----

Lillinette averted her eyes from him for a split second when he mentioned Starrk.

"Well...he thinks you'll say no, then I'll come back to his quarters, and I quote, 'in tears and finally snap out of this idiotic phase'." she said. "You see, Dietor-Kun...at the meeting last year, you just seemed so cool, and the way you handled Grimmjow's outburst was simply amazing. To...to be honest, I fell in love with you that day."

She clasped her hands together behind her waist and smiled shyly, a crimson blush beginning to show on her cheeks.

"It...it took about three months of trying to convince Aizen-Sama and Szayel, but I managed to find a way to naturally age a bit. It's permanent, though, but I'm not upset." she said, hoping she wasn't putting him off. "I, uh, I'd like for you to just call me 'Lilly' from now on, too. I think it sounds cuter."

-----

Meanwhile, over in Gin's quarters, the fox-eyed Shinigami had a visitor.

"How is your project going, Gin?" Tosen asked the silver-haired Ex-Captain.

Tenntou looked at her with a smirk, "I can sense it, I was just wondering where my Fraccion disappeared to so that we both can fight for the time being." Tenntou took her scythe swinging it around kicking up the dust around them, she had admit that she was cocky. "What do you think? Some training Shana?", She asked smirking as she put her hand out in a cocky manner.

Hmm, so Neliel is back in the Seiretei? Jin thought. Perhaps I should go investigate. It would be bad to leave her unescorted as well. While he was no longer concerned that she would inspire an unprovoked attack from a unnamed shinigami, he was still worried of her getting lost, or finding herself the accidental target of someone's wrath. She was rather clumsy, and had a habit of finding business not meant to be hers.

Jin looked down and smiled at Yachiru. "And would luitenant-chan happen to know where the green-haired Arrancar lady is at the moment?" he asked. Give me a place, he thought, I'd rather not depend on your infamous sense of direction. "If you could tell me where she is right now, I would be quite thankful."

------

Daisuke growled inwardly, notsomuch at Yoruichi but at the thought of having to face her with her Zanpakuto. "Really?" he asked. "You can't be serious, right?" Seeing the look in her eye, he sighed to himself. "Meh, all this training and I still haven't achieved bankai. I guess if I'm going to be heading back, I need to do it somehow. If this is what it takes, then yeah," he finished, settling himself back into a readied stance. "Alright then, how's this gonna go down?"

------

Gin looked up and smirked. "It's interesting that I would find myself graced by your presence," Gin commented. "You would usually not deign to have my company, Tosen," he continued, chuckling to himself as he lightly fingered a few buttons on a nearby keyboard. Several monitors turned on, display various statistics. "Why I wouldn't consider it a genius piece of work like that crazed man Kurotsuchi, I would think that it is sufficiently...amusing," he snickered, settling back with his head thoughtfully resting on his hand. "If all goes well, I'll be unvealing my project soon enough."

The grin lessened for a moment as his thoughts continued. Turning so that his back faced the door and thus was also facing Tosen, he waved a hand dismissively. "But that's enough chatter from me. If you're truly curious, perhaps you should go beg Aizen. Perhaps he'll give you a clue. Until then, good bye."

If there was ever a moment when Dietor simply could not believe what his ears had just heard, then it was this moment right here. Lillinete had actually gone to Aizen-san to have her age and appearance modified for Dietor's sake? That alone seemed to strike a chord somewhere deep in the assassin's calm and logical heart, but whether that was really good or bad was still something that he didn't know. All he knew was that this situation was quickly becoming more and more volatile with each passing moment, and that if he didn't do something about it quick, then he would surely find himself in one HELL of a mess later on. "What did I do to deserve this?" the assassin thought as he took another cursory glance at Lillinete, his eyes closely examining every detail of her with an analyst's logic. Who knew that Starke's little Fracción would "grow up" to be such a beauty? But while Grimmjow, Szayel, or Nnoitra were selfish enough to use her body for their own ends, Dietor certainly was not. Because unlike them, he actually had a sense of restraint. Maybe not exactly a real conscience, so to speak, but definitely restraint.

It was enough to make Dietor lift a hand to his face and rub his eyes in mild perplexity. He already made his decision on what to do here, but now the problem was breaking it to her gently. If not to ease her own pain, then to ease his pain when and/or if any problems arose because of all this. "I see..." he replied to Lillinette carefully, his hand dropping away from his face to recross with one over his chest. "You've put me in a rather strange position... Lilly. But... Because of the lengths that you've obviously gone through to get to this moment, I'm going to be completely honest with you. You deserve at least that much." he finished before pausing to gather his thoughts and take a quick breath. Out of all the things he had done... All the deceptions and killings that he done throughout the many years... This was probably one of the hardest that he would ever do. When it came to slaying someone in the back, he was the best in Las Noches. When it came to lying and deceiving to accomplish a goal assigned to him, he had no problems whatsoever.

But when it came to something like this... When he was stuck with the burden of actually caring about someone else and their feelings... That was a whole 'nother story.

"I can't accept your invitation, Lillinette. Truth be told, I'm both flattered and flabbergasted that you would do all of this just for me. But what you want for the two of us can never be. There's just... too many things that could go wrong if I should accept." he told her plainly. What he was saying was coming straight from the bottom of his heart, and he was hoping that she would listen to the words he had still yet to say with a clear mind and a calm heart. For both of their sakes. "You are not only the Fracción of one of the Espada, someone who I must kill if I am ordered to, but you are also "technically" his zanpakutou. And I don't think I need to explain what kinds of complications that comes with. You are the source of Starke's power, and I know that despite whatever you may say about him... He means a great deal to you. And I don't ever want to put you in a situation where you need to choose between your master and your lover."

And he really meant it, too. He was who he was, but not even Dietor was totally heartless. Not to a young and surprisingly courageous girl, anyway.

"And besides..." Dietor continued. "You know as well as I that I function best alone. My purpose in Las Noches doesn't allow me to afford very many personal attachments. I won't go into that any further, but I think you know very well just how fickle Aizen-san can sometimes be." He also meant that very much, too. He wasn't about to start offering idle insult to the Lord of Las Noches, but there wasn't a word in that sentence that wasn't part of the absolute truth as he saw it. Aizen was the Lord of Las Noches, a Shinigami of great influence and even greater power. But that still didn't mean that Dietor was going to mince his words in front of Lillinette for Aizen's sake.

"Why not? I could use a bit of exercise." Shana said, silently thinking of Grimmjow. She unsheathed her sword and took her stance, seeming a bit eager to get going.

-----

In response to Daisuke's question, a chocolate-haired violet-eyed girl with tiger ears and matching tail giggled from where the doll had been.

"That's simple, Daisuke-Kun! Ka-Sama is going to push you to your limits by pulling almost all the stops on herself." the girl said. Then, without changing attitude or even taking her eyes off of Daisuke, she pulled a spike-edged blade out of the ground and swung at Koichi, who dodged in shock at the speed. "And while Ka-Sama's doing that, I get to play with Shishou-Kun! Everybody gets to play!"

"Oh, great. Mama's getting serious, and Kureha-Chan thinks this is a freakin' game!" Koichi mumbled, being near enough to him that only Daisuke heard him clearly.

-----

As Yachiru opened her mouth to speak, the familiar pressure of Hitsugaya activating his Bankai filled the air, as well as the ambient temperature dropping to near freezing. Hitsugaya Toshiro was the only person out of the Captains that hadn't met Nell.

"Just head for Snowy-Taicho."

-----

Lillinette had anticipated receiving a 'no' as an answer, but all the same, she couldn't help feeling odd.

"Even...even though I had prepared for a 'no'...I still can't help feeling a bit...I think that human girl called it 'hearbroken'." she said. "Even so, I apologize for taking your time, Dietor-Kun. Maybe...maybe uder different circumstances, there could've been something more for us."

Even though there were obvious tears in her eyes at the sadness of being turned down, she still found some way to smile. Lilly bowed politely, then smiled gently at the assasin. Before she chose to leave, she steeled her nerves and wrapped her arms around Dietor, as if thanking him for both being honest and caring enough to let her down gently.

"Thank you anyways, Dietor-Kun. Sorry if I wasted your time."

As she spun around to leave, the centrifugal force lifted her skirt just enough to reveal her lingerie, though she seemed blissfully unaware that she'd just unveiled her panties, which just happened to be the same exact shade of pink as her eyes.

After she'd left, there was a quick pulse of Ulquiorra's reiatsu, calling Dietor to the sunlight dome. It seemed that the Quarta Espada had something for his unofficial Fraccion to do.

Tenntou smirked widely, "Come then!" She ran at the woman her scythe swinging wildly but controlled. She went for a couple kicks with a slash down diagonally then grabbed her sparring partner throwing her through some of the pillars that were still remaining. With this as the dust cleared she leaped forward charging toward her at a high speed as she continued swinging her scythe, until Shana kicked it up she wouldn't even chip off her mask.

Daisuke maintain his stance, only following Koichi's exchange with his peripheral vision. It'd be too easy to let Yoruichi get the jump on him if he let himself get distracted. She was just now deciding to ramp up the training, so it wouldn't do to let himself get knocked down in the opening moves. "Alright, Yoruichi-san," he called out, "let's get this over with. I never much like waiting..."

-------

Jin froze as he sensed Captain Hitsugaya's spiritual pressure. Thoughts of dealing with Yachiru gone from his mind, he dissappeared, moving away faster than the eye could track. Trouble weighing on his mind, he couldn't help but grip the hilt of his sword till the knuckles turned white, for he also knew that Hitsugaya was the only captain to have not met Nelliel. This is bad, he thought as the shunpo carried his past building after building, for such an icy individual, he does have streaks of hot-headedness. Let's hope that she has done nothing to provoke him and that this run is merely exercise... Closing the gap between himself and the disturbance, he steeled himself against what he might have to deal with.

As Dietor watched Lillinette disappear down the corridor heading towards the Primera Espada's quarters, he couldn't help but feel a small pang of remorse somewhere in the depths of his soul. It was small and brief, like the pricking of a needle upon your finger, but it was definitely there. And somehow that seemed to unnerve him a tiny bit more than Lillinette's sudden invitation into romance. Perhaps it was a sign that he was starting to get a little too soft because of all the downtime lately. He honestly couldn't even remember the last time either Aizen or Ulquiorra had assigned him to a mission worthy of his particular skill sets.

Or to any mission, for that matter. If this kept up, then Dietor was probably going to go mad with boredom before too long. Or start watching the humans' "Daytime Television" or whatever other drivel that was polluting the Living World's airwaves nowadays. The last time that he had been bored enough to do that... Well... Let's just say that Dietor still cannot understand why Don Kanonji has so many fans in Japan. The man is only a psuedo-psychic at best... And that laugh he does with his arms crossed is about as annoying as nails going down a chalkboard. At least for him, anyway...

But enough about that.

Once Lillinette was out of Dietor's sight, a pulse of all-too-familiar reiatsu surged through the corridor and grabbed his attention. The remorse he felt for Lillinette quickly subsided, only to be replaced by a sudden awareness that he was being summoned by the Quatro Espada himself. Strangely enough, it almost made Dietor feel relieved knowing that he had done the right thing and turned her down gently. Ulquiorra had no love nor pity for those who were weaker than him, and he probably wouldn't even think twice about killing Lillinette if he happened to be annoyed with her some reason. Even if she was the Fracción and Zanpakutou of the Primera Espada, the only person Ulquiorra respected even a little was Aizen himself. And that was just the way it was.

But for now... It was off to the sunlight dome where Dietor's "master" was waiting for him. It was almost enough to make him smile beneath his mask fragment. Ulquiorra almost never called Dietor to him personally. "Hmm... Must be something important if he's doing it himself. Best not to keep him waiting, then..." he chuckled as he stepped out of the doorway and into the middle of the corridor. And then, with a burst of Sonído sounding throughout the corridor, Dietor suddenly blurred from sight and then vanished altogether. The only trace of his presence was a swirling circle of dust and air where his feet had once been.

A few minutes later...

With another burst of Sonído filling the air, Dietor suddenly appeared in the sunlight dome, a few feet behind and to the left of where the Quatro Espada was standing. Unlike other Fracción, he didn't feel the need to bow upon his knees before his Espada. After all, why should he when he was only pretending to be Ulquiorra's loyal but mysterious Fracción? "I'm going to assume that Aizen-san has something important that needs to be done... quietly." the assassin began with a glint of disguised mirth in his gaze. "What is the reason for you summoning me here?"

As she sparred with Tenntou, Shana could'nt help but feel something was off. The air in Las Noches was just too...peaceful. However, she couldn't let that distract her. Doging the first few swings, as her fighting style had become slightly more based around deciphering one's routine. Then, using a quick burst of Sonido, she jumped to a distance outside the reach of the scythe and charged a Cero.

"Here it comes!"

-----

As Koichi and Kureha began fighitng off in their own little world, Yoruichi held her right arm straight out to her side, her Zanpakutou held firmly as her reishi began to gather, granting her an almost goddess-like glow.

"I know you're able to keep up with my Shunko, Daisuke."
she said. "Let's see if I can't put that to use. Here I come!"

With that, the 'Goddess of Flash' hopped down from her perch, the sleeves and back of her shirt disintegrating as her Shunko kicked in. Then, true to her claim and nickname, Yoruichi Shihouin flickered from view, beginning Daisuke's training.

-----

Luckily for Jin, though, the occupants of Division Ten were enjoying a beautiful sparring match between their frozen Captain Hitsugaya, who was using his Bankai at full power, and a centaur-woman whose hair and fur were the same shade of green. It wasn't the fact that it was a centaur that had garnered their attention, though. It was the fact that she was an Arrancar who'd asked to face the Captain's Bankai, in order to train herself.

"Go get her, Taichou!" Matsumoto Rangiku was calling out, and she was totally smashed.

Hitsugaya ignored her. The centaur-woman ignored the butsy drunk as well, but she turned her attention to where Jin was approaching from, remembering his reishi signature. Signalling to hold the match, she hefted the dual-ended lance onto her shoulder and called out to Jin, the sunlight glinting off of the ram-skull mask that sat on the top of her head.

"Jin-San! Nice to see you again!"

Hitsugaya sealed his sword, thankful for the break.

-----

Ulquiorra didn't move a muscle as he spoke.

"Normally, such summonings would indeed be to inform you of your next target. However, I believe you've begun to get soft as of late, no thanks to the Primera's little wench." he said. Then he turned his piercing emo-goth-like stare towards Dietor. "As such, you will spend the next three days going through intense training. I expect your full strength unleashed before the close of the second day. Now come."

That said, Ulquiorra did something that he rarely ever did, outside of when the Quarta himself was in training.

He drew his blade.

Re: Bleach: ZX Advent (Commy, Palaios [since he's joined], &

Tenntou looked at the cero and began to spin her scythe to the point where it began to kick up dust then began to turn it into some form of twister. Though the swings were effortlessly coming from her arms the force it was generating was beginning to tear at the columns around them. "Yeah give me your best shot Shana. I am ready for any of your new training menuevers!", She yelled out as she continued to generate her large gust of wind as it began to snake its way toward Shana. It was a special counter but she had other things in mind if Shana managed to get past this. She had a long time to think of other fighting moves while waiting for something to make her feel more alive.

Re: Bleach: ZX Advent (Commy, Palaios [since he's joined], &

Daisuke grinned, laughing aloud at the challenge. "I don't know what I'm getting into here," he shouted, "but to hell with it. Let's go!" With that out, he flickered from view as well, his intent to match Yoruichi's speed clear in his eyes.

-----

Jin settled down, his face a mask to bar the embarrassment that his concern would cause for someone as (usually) cool and in control as he displayed himself. "Hmph," he commented while raising an eyebrow. "A sparring match? You should be more careful about these kind of things. It could panic the unprepared, not to mention I personally get annoyed when people start releasing their spritual energy around me."

Turning to Hitsugaya, Jin bowed slighty in respect for the captain. "Good evening, sir," he addressed, "I didn't know that enjoyed sparring matches." It did strike Jin as odd that the often stoic captain of Division Ten would engage in something kind of frivolous like a sparring match, especially without warning the general crowd. If someone didn't know better, it could cause serious alarm and alot of confusion.

-----

Gin shuffled restlessly through Hueco Mundo, finally stopping as he found his intented target, Aizen. "Oy, Aizen-sama," he called out, "it seems things are starting to act up here. Perhaps you are planning on making this dreary place interesting again? It's been so boring this last year, aside from the little project I had." The shifty man's smirk grew slightly. "But that little thing is done with now, and I want to take it for a test drive. Perhaps you should send an invitation to our friends at the Seiretei, or perhaps you already have? I'm sure they would make this boring old place fun again, and I know you didn't like letting those little bugs crawl away."

Re: Bleach: ZX Advent (Commy, Palaios [since he's joined], &

A slight crinkling around the eyes was Dietor's only reaction to the Quatro Espada's sudden challenge. He found it highly unusual for Ulquiorra to be doing something like this. Let alone anything else that hadn't come as a direct order from Aizen himself. It was simply just that rare to see Ulquiorra being this... proactive. Needless to say, the sight of him drawing his sword had set Dietor's nerves a bit on edge and he narrowed his eyes questioningly at the Espada through the bangs of his navy blue hair. "Forgive me for not charging in right away..." he began with a note of coldness in his voice. "But you've never taken any sort of an interest in me before. And I find it very odd that you would now. Why the sudden change?" he asked the Quatro Espada. "Are you acting under Aizen-san's orders? Or are you really that concerned over how I am to to do my job?"

As Dietor stood there and continued questioning Ulquiorra's true motives, his hands came to rest on the handles of the zanpakutou sheathed on each hip. The other thing that made Dietor a bit unique among the Arrancar was that he was among one of the few in all of Hueco Mundo to actually possess two zanpakutou rather than one. His was a pair of twin knives with blades that curved down and around the knuckles of each fist, making them effective for both punching as well as slashing. They were the ideal weapons for an assassin of Dietor's caliber. Light and agile, yet strong enough and sharp enough to cut through almost anything with ease.

And perfect for slitting throats.

But even so, Dietor did not draw them yet. To do so would've given Ulquiorra the chance of finding an opening and then using it to strike at Dietor first. He may not have been exactly the battle-hardened fighter that Grimmjow, Nnoitra, and Tenntou sometimes made themselves out to be, but harsh experience had taught Dietor quite a few things about winning a fight and surviving. The first rule he had learned was to never assume that you knew anything about your opponent. And the second rule was to never charge in without a plan. You were dead if you did. Simple as that.

Shana smirked at Tenntou's little twister. It was almost enough to make her laugh. Launching her cero, which was a soft violet hue, she utilized a quick sonido to get on the opposite side of Tenntou and began charging a silver-colored cero, using both hands to channel her reishi.

"I learned a new trick last month! Have a taste of my Gran Rey Cero!!"

-----

As the sounds of blades colliding with one another filled the air, signaling Yoruichi and Daisuke were going at it full throttle, a small explosion of reishi warped the area about a dozen feet from where Koichi stood. When the smoke settled, it was revealed that the boy was wearing his Vaizard mask. The mask itself had changed in appearance, though. It no longer resembled Ichigo Kurosaki's, but instead looked more like a cross between a tiger and a lion in terms of structural appearance. The only markings on it were three tiger-like stripes curving up from the lower right jawline.

On the other side of that little battlefield, Kureha herself was holding a different weapon. She no longer held a katana, but a pair of quad-clawed katars that had a crescent moon engraved into the wrist-guard of each gauntlet.

"Come on, Shishou-Kun! I know you're holding back!" Kureha taunted, her tail twitching happily. "Come on! Use that thing already!"

That little exchange was enough to somehow distract Yoruichi enough to allow Daisuke to get the first strike.

"Good hit, Pierce!" she said, taking up her Shunko stance once again, her Zanpakutou held so its tip was aimed at the brawler. "Let's see how you handle this. Matataki, Semihyuo!"

In a flash of light identical to her Shunko initiation, the Goddess of Flash once again changed appearance. She now wore something that looked almost like a tanktop and miniskirt combo, with a pair of jet black shorts under the skirt. Her hair now flowed freely, unbound, and her legs were bare, wearing only a simple pair of sandals. Her weapon had vanished, it seemed, but a small mound of earth formed at her feet, her standing atop it. When it broke open, there was a panther-like creature that wore a silver cloak, much like the one Yoruichi had previously been wearing, and its twin tails extended from its backside to a wrist guard on each arm, one tail per arm. The strangest thing about the beast was that it had an extra pair of legs.

-----

Upon hearing Jin's words, Hitsugaya simply sheathed his weapon.

"It's not like I actually enjoy fighting an Arrancar." he said, sounding a bit more irked than anything. "It's simply because she asked to train with me, since the little cat-brat is in training with his mother right now."

"Jin-San! It's good to see you again!" Nell said, bowing to the Shinigami she'd met a year earlier.

-----

As one of the two Arrancar minions at Aizen's side began to reach for his weapon, Aizen chuckled.

Yes, it has been a bit boring, hasn't it?" he said, a slightly eager look in his eyes. "As for getting excitement back, I've ordered Ulquiorra to train Dietor for the next three days, without holding back, in preparation."

At these words, the only other Arrancar in the room, Nazo Calindil, spoke up, his words carrying a gruff tone despite his refined appearance.

"I'll be happy to deliver the invitation, Lord Aizen." he said. "Besides, I wish to face that feline child in a match myself. My brother will be avenged!"

Aizen didn't respond immediately, wondering what Gin would think of this newest member of the Espada. Nazo had the basic appearance of a man with wildly spiked hair, a sort of cross in style between Zaraki Kenpachi and Kurosaki Ichigo. His mask remnant was that of a hedgehog's muzzle and jaw. His weapon resembled a brilliant-cut diamond, and it rested in a special pouch located on his right hip.

Nazo was indeed a recent asset, but his strength had placed him in the empty slot of Sexta Espada, after Grimmjow had publicly defected and vanished into the depths of Hueco Mundo seven months earlier. He was indeed a unique one.

-----

Ulquiorra merely tilted his head, cracking his neck.

"A bit of both." he said. "Now come at me. You have three days of training ahead of you. Don't disappoint me."

Tenntou smirked as she deflected the cero as she expected but not the whole other one she decided to charge up. "Hm, you have learned a new trick." She said smirking as she turned to Shana, "call mine ..."Lightning Tornado!" she called out as she made a Cero as she normally would but suddenly threw it into her weapon as it absorbed the energy and instead of just feeding off of it, conducted it to be stronger instead of being a dust twister before now was a energized tornado of reishi heading straight at Shana.

"Uh...that's new," Daisuke chuckled weakly, settling back after his lucky hit. Don't recall seeing her do this trick. I might be in trouble.

-----

"Of course," Jin nodded in agreement with the young captain.

Turning to Nell, he returned the bow, motioning towards Hitsugaya. "You're not giving him a hard time are you?" he joked. Chuckling to himself a little, he eased up now that he had a handle on where everyone was at the moment. "If I had known you would be around, I would've been happy to escort you. It worries me when you go wandering amongst the barracks given, your current status. I wouldn't want undue confusion if someone were to mistake you for an aggressor."

The thought out in the open, he finished up by addressing what the captain had just said. "So Koichi is still training with Yoruichi then? I'm surprised it's lasted as long as it has. Hopefully his training will have paid off and finished soon, as with Daisuke's as well."

-----

"Oh yes," Gin chuckled, "that sneaky little fraccion of his. Oops," Gin snipped, raising a hand as if to hold in the words, "I suppose we're not suppose to be talking about what doesn't exist."

Gin turned to Nazo, then returned his gaze to Aizen. "Eager, isn't he? I remember another of the Espada that was also eager. He was so full of himself that he rushed off to challenge a shinigami because it seemed like a good idea at the time. But meh," Gin smirked, turning to leave, "at least it was amusing for a bit. Bye bye." Wandering off, Gin left the lingering comparison between Nazo and Grimmjow hovering, a silent chuckle climbing up his throat. Not only was it his way of judging Nazo and what could become of such an aggressive individual, but it was also an invitation; a thought to provoke more thought in the rash arrancar. Yes, wouldn't it be a fine thing if the rash little Espada rushed off to go cause trouble for the shinigami, much like his predecessor? That would certainly draw this charade of calm to a close, giving me a chance to unveal my surprise to them. Humming to himself, Gin found himself in good spirits as he wandered back to his quarters.

Re: Bleach: ZX Advent (Commy, Palaios [since he's joined], &

Dietor couldn't help heaving a sigh when he heard Ulquiorra's explanation. It explained almost nothing, but he also figured that was about as good as he was ever going to get out of the Cuarto Espada. "Very well." the assassin responded, his gaze growing hard as he stared his opponent down from the other side of the room. He didn't like it when it felt like someone was jerking his chains like this, but he also knew that there wasn't a whole lot that he could do besides play along. If anything, it meant that either Aizen-san or the other two Shinigami ruling Las Noches had something weird in store for him. And he was just too much of a professional to bother questioning it any further than that. "I hope you won't be too surprised for what is about to happen here, Ulquiorra-san." the assassin warned before he lowered himself into a readied stance. "My purpose is the eradication of rebels and traitors within Las Noches. Including Espada... And including you."

With that, Dietor suddenly drew both of his knives and then suddenly vanished with a burst of Sonido blurring the air. He had also completely masked any trace of his reiatsu, rending his presence completely invisible from all but the most sharpest of senses. It was a basic tactic for assassins to use. Hiding your physical presence was useless if you couldn't also hide your spiritual presence. But then again... Dietor the "Fang Assassin" was also far from your basic killer.

He reappeared crouching below and in front of Ulquiorra, his right arm moving to slash at the Espada's unguarded abdomen while his left moved to slash at the ligaments behind Ulquiorra's knee and hamstring him. It seemed like a simple attack at first, one that Ulquiorra could easily counter, but that was exactly what Dietor wanted him to think. For you see... The appearance of Dietor crouching in front of Ulquiorra like that was nothing but a diversion of sorts, an after-image created by the insane speed of Dietor's Sonido-powered movements. A second Dietor appeared in the air right behind Ulquiorra's head, the blade of his zanpakutou flashing in the light as it went scything straight for his target's jugular vein. A third image followed the second and aimed a cross cut right for the front of Ulguiorra's chest, intending to carve a large and bloody "X" right over the middle of his hollow hole. And a fourth followed that one with another yet slash aimed for Cuarto Espada's left flank....

But then... A fifth one appeared. The real Dietor. He appeared high in the air directly above Ulquiorra's head, his right hand unarmed and extending an open palm directly at where Ulquiorra was standing. A surge of reiatsu gathered in the palm of his hand, a silver-colored Cero tinged with black, and it was fired as an intense beam of pure destructive force. And if Dietor knew anything about Ulquiorra, then he had a general idea of what was going to happen next. That was perhaps Dietor's greatest strength as an assassin. Get inside your target's thoughts, know them even better than they themselves, and then use that against them.

The bemused crinkling around Dietor's eyes told that he was smiling slightly beneath his mask fragment.

Shana kept her eyes focused on the 'Lightning Tornado' that Tenntou fired. Once it was about ten feet from her, Shana let the Gran Rey Cero fly.

"Eat this!!" she cried as the gigantic beam of silver reishi boomed towards the twister. As the two attacks combined, Shana pulled her weapon out and released it in preparation of Tenntou's next move.

Yes, Nazo does have some qualities in common with Grimmjow. Aizen thought. Then, after telling Nazo to go find something fun to do in the Human world, he himself went to see how the progress on Ichimaru's project. When he checked on it through the monitor he'd installed a couple months earlier. What he saw made him smile evilly.

This was indeed going to be an interesting week ahead.

-----

Yoruichi smirked as Koichi finally decided to give in and summon his mask. She turned her gaze back to Daisuke, who looked like he was frantically trying to read her technique.

"So, are you just going to stand there like a sack of rice?" she asked, smiling. "Or are you going to come at me with everything you've got? I know you're able to bring it out by now."

The panther at her side growled in anticipation of having some fun. Koichi, however, began charging at Kureha with increasingly Hollow-like strength, but he was keeping his sanity. Somehow.

-----

"You know what? You take her. I'm done here anyway." Hitsugaya said, sealing his sword.

Nell, a bit disappointed that Hitsugaya was done so soon, dropped out of her released state to tag along with the most level-headed Shinigami she knew, other than Koichi's mother. When the light of her sealing her sword cleared away, it was revealed that she'd worn teh shinigami shihakushou that Koichi had tailored for her four months prior.

"Jin-San, I'd like to see Sokyoku Hill." she said, ignoring the fact that some of the shinigami in the crowd were comparing her chest to Rangiku's. "That was where Koichi-Kun said he was going to be training."

-----

Ulquiorra had expected the cero to come from a rather estranged angle, but was able to fire one of his own towards the sky, countering Dietor's. Remembering that Aizen had ordered him to not hold back, he leaped into the air and sped towards the day-time-like ceiling of Las Noches, aiming for the air outside of the palace. He was positive that Dietor was following, and as such, sliced a hole in the ceiling, creating a garganta-like passage to the outer portions.

Once he reached the external confines of the white desert, he positioned himself on the one remaining pillar that had been rebuilt during the year, the moon being a perfect backdrop for him as he held his blade before him. Once Dietor was in sight, Ulquiorra spoke only two words.

"Tozase, Murcielago."

His release culminated in a torrential rain of deep emerald reishi pouring down from the sky that, when it cleared, revealed Ulquiorra's released state. A pair of impressive bat wings spanned a good twenty feet across, and his mask fragment now resembled the upper section of a bat's skull. His outfit had taken on a relatively simplified style that resembled a one-piece robe. His sword was gone, leaving his hands bare. However, everyone who knew Ulquiorra's release state knew he could summon a spear of green reishi in an instant.

"Come. Your training has only just begun."

Re: Bleach: ZX Advent (Commy, Palaios [since he's joined], &

Tenntou stopped her attack as she noticed that Shana had done the same as Tenntou stood there. "Good...good. You have done a lot of training, never thought we would be so good in battle between each other...", She said smirking. "Shana...can you feel it? That feeling that makes you want to fight...I think it is there but it isn't coming from us...I think it is coming from afar.", She said as Tenntou's face twitched some and her body looked like it was ready to continue this generations over. "I...think training will have to cease for now before I am thrown into frenzy over a low training session. I don't think it is appropriate for this situation that I am feeling." She said as she lowered her blade, her breathing it was heavy, a lust to continue despite her call to cease. "I wonder what Aizen and the rest are doing right now.", She turned her head looking toward the tower.

Re: Bleach: ZX Advent (Commy, Palaios [since he's joined], &

"Sokyoku Hill, eh?" Jin commented, "well, I suppose we should go see them then." It wasn't that he didn't know that already, but he did feel the need to continue conversation with her.

And so he politely continued said conversation until he spotted the entrance to the training area he knew Koichi, Daisuke, and Yoruichi were at, and stepped down just in time to see Yoruichi release. Hmph, he thought, so that's what she had in store for him. He also spotted Koichi as he was dealing with his zanpakuto. Looks like no one is sparing any effort. He stopped watching for a moment as his thoughts slipped to his own power. Will I be enough when we face the arrancar again? he pondered.

-----

"Heh," Daisuke chuckled, "dunno what you're talking about. But how 'bout this?" he shoutted, leaping forward with both hands balled up above his head. While wearing Ryoshi Hon'no's shikai, he could deliver some pretty good swats with just his fists, and if the panther-thing he was aiming at dodge, he could just swing his blade around at it. And given how close they would be, he wouldn't miss.
