A Vampiric Toy (Me & DeSiRe)

"And that is how you solve for a quadratic equation. Any questions?" Asked the teacher up front. His attention then turned to a young male. "Mr. Yagami, are you still with us? Please answer for number 4." The male he was referring to was sitting down with his arm propped up and his chin resting in his hand. He had a far off expression as if something else was on his mind. At the sound of his teacher's voice he shifted his eyes away from the window he was looking out of and stood up from his seat. "Its in standard form." He replied and sat down again. Boring, he knew this subject already, when we're they ever going to learn something different? "Very good, as always." The teacher said with a smile then began explaining to the class why it was in standard form. He closed his eyes and gave a small smirk at the compliment.

This male's names was Light Yagami. He was 17 and a senior in high school not to mention he was at the top of his class. Unlike some he was smarter then your average teen, his intellect was impressive as well as his deductive skills. However, brains wasn't all he had, he had looks as well. Light was perfectly toned and slim with a chiseled yet angelic face. His hair was dark brown and hung just above his matching brown eyes. He was 5'8" in height and weighed 119 pounds. He was wearing his usual night school clothes, which was a simple black shirt with a white stripe on the selves and around the collar, along with black pants and shoes, nothing like the school uniform he wears in the day time.

The bell finally rang signaling that school was over with after so many dull hours. Light stood from his seat and began to pack his things. He threw on his tan collared coat and heading out of the building, onto the front lawn. With a fake smile he waved to his friends and started on his way home. He walked the dark sidewalks to maybe keep out of sight from other pedestrians. Unfortunately, he lived quite a ways from the school. Not only that but he was in a city, Tokyo to be exact and everyone knew walking the streets of Tokyo at night was beyond dangerous. But he had been doing this for a while now, and so far nothing has happened to him, so he had no worries, right?

She had been waiting since the sun had begun to set. She had watched, every single boring human that had passed by the lonely alleyway that she now occupied. Her crimson red eyes didn't seem to just sit on one thing. Like a cat she seemed to be watching and listening to everything around her. She knew when the rat behind her scuttled across the ground screeching as it was chased by a female cat that hasn't been fed in many days. She heard the wind rush passed the alleyway, whistling in her ear.

Marie wasn't a normal being of the earth. She didn't walk during the day, merely slept in a darkened room until the moon rose into the sky. Her skin paler than most humans she stayed quiet and un noticed as she watched them, each night, walk around with others. She would sometimes tease them about being out late and then frighten them back to their homes, sometimes she would even take them to her home.

Marie was the kind to get bored easily. She loved to take both humans males and females and do what she wished with them, if they bored her, she killed them and went out to find someone else to amuse her. It was easy to prey on the humans, for she had the perfect innocent look, trapping over confident men in alleyways when they thought they would hurt her, she always took advantage of that.

Getting women to help her in finding her little sister...what little sister? women. one of the easiest creatures of the humans. so trusting so....weak.

Marie's eyes shifted as she watched someone nearing her position. She tilted her head letting hair fall into her face. a boy....she grinned. he looked perfect. She pondered on what kind of male he was. What he was afraid of. She tilted her head. He seemed calm...as if the night did not frighten him like the others that roamed it.

Light took one of the alleyways now figuring it might end up being a short cut, or make it a less chance for him running into a street thug. He lifted his arm and looked down at his watch. Time was flying quickly, it was almost 10:30 P.M already. Knowing his mom she was probably getting worried about him. Really he didn't see what the big deal was its not like he was weak, of course if he was fighting more then two then yes there would be a chance of him losing, but he still would try his best to protect himself.

As if on cue his cell phone rang. With a sigh Light pulled out his cell and flipped it open. "Yes, I'm on my way now. What?..No.uh huh, alright..bye." He hung up and stuck it back into his pockets. "Why does she worry about me so much? Its not like anything is going to happen to me.." Light stopped talking and walking for a second as he saw a figure in the distance. Who could it be?

He continued to walk and looked to the side as he passed to see it was a female but not a normal looking one. She looked so different, and there was a dark aura that seemed to come off her. He looked away and put his hands into his pockets. It was probably best to just ignore the girl. What she was doing out so late was none of his business.

MArie raised a brow as she leaned against the wall of the building near her. She found herself being ignored. the corner of her lips curved into an amused smile and she shook her head lightly as the smile faded and she pushed herself from the wall, slowly making her way over to the male. Moving her silver hair from her eyes she blinked slowly and looked up at the male as she gently placed her hand on his arm, she sent a blanket of fog into his mind so he could not think clearly. she tilted her head slowly as she breathed in his scent.

Her lashes grew heavy over her crimson colored gaze and she licked her bottom lip slowly as her grip tightened slightly, not enough to cause him to wonder why she had done so. Marie looked like a teenager the age of maybe...15 years of age. He small body worked to her advantage 99.99% percent of the time.

Her lips parted slowly. "Could I possibly get a sample?" she asked softly. He probably wouldn't even know what she was talking about. Maybe he would think she was asking for drugs or something, it didn't bother her. She gently tugged on the arm of his shirt and pulled him closer to the darkness. She used her mind to keep his thoughts only directed on her, she wouldn't allow him to think, she could see that this boy was very smart.

She loved to tease her prey before she attacked, so she slowly oh so slowly directed him into the shadows her eyes never leaving his.

Light stopped went he felt a hand on his arm and turned around to see the same girl. He raised an eyes brow at her. "What are you?.." He didn't get to finish for she had blocked his thoughts. His mouth hung open slightly and his eyes looked to be in a trance. He then blinked and closed his mouth looking down at her but couldn't understand what was going on. "Uh..huh?.." He said with a confused face as she leaned close to him.

He allowed her to pull him away from eyes and to an isolated area, he didn't know why he just did. "Where am I?" Light wondered out of nowhere. He couldn't even remember what he was doing because his mind was completely blocked.

Marie smiled softly as she pulled him into the shadows where no one could see him, or her for that matter. She didn't think anyone would have interferred in the first place when it seemed like they were both completely calm and no one was making any sudden movements. Some would think they were talking, others...more intimate thoughts.

She finally pulled him into the shadows and she let the fog in his mind slowly clear slightly. So he could know where they were. She didn't want him to be completely stupid. She smiled seductively her innocent look fading quickly. Her arms slowly seeped up his arm and pushed around his shoulders to wrap around his neck. She leaned against him to slowly pull him down to her. Being short meant she had to stand on her toes to get close enough to his neck.

Her eyes fluttered softly as his scent intoxicated her mind, causing the fog in his mind to clear even more as her mind began to fog now. His blood was so sweet she already felt her mouth creating so much saliva that she had to swallow the extra bit. "...some of your blood...." she whispered softly as her lips slowly touched the flesh on his neck. her tongue darted out to taste his skin.

Light just looked down at her in a daze as she pulled him farther and father into the shadows, away from eyes. He looked at her confused once they were in the dark. His mind started to clear more and he looked around the area. An ally? Why did she bring him into the shadows? No wait, something was up but..he couldn't fight it..What was this feeling? He felt as if he was in a dream, everything felt unreal but he couldn't of been asleep he was just walking from school to head home, so this had to be real.

He was pulled down more to her level. Why? Was she going to kiss him or something? No she was aiming at his neck? That didn't make since. Why the neck?.. He gasped slightly as he felt her lips lightly on his neck then her tongue tracing over the flesh. 'some of your blood..' that's what she had said.When his mind cleared more his eyes widened slightly. Was this girl going to kill him?! He set his hands on her shoulders gently and tried to push her back but wasn't being too hasty about it since he was still slightly blocked.
