Character Guidelines
Pretty much anything goes. Remember that your character needs at least a name and age (in accordance to site rules). Since this is open rp, you don't need any kind of approval, just post your characters and dive right in.
Basically, don't make your character all-powerful and then try to push people around or trivialize any adventure-plots that might take place. But other than that extreme, feel free to play badass fighters and mighty wizards to your heart's contents.
Some details you are encouraged to include are notes on what kind of scenes you want to write with them.

Laura also secretly run the church from the shadow, she influenced things to ensure that the island became the hot spot of sex, lust and taboo it is today, its said that only Cynder knows this truth as once the main priestess is too old, she is removed and a new younger priestess is put in charge who Laura would then control their mind.

Background:
Although seemingly human, Ba'al's blood may very well be the last vestige of an ancient demonic dynasty known as Primordials that are now believed to be extinct. Primordials are the boogeymen that parents tease their children about when they don't eat their vegetables nowadays -- but they were once the scourge of life. Domineering warmongers, they once spearheaded the most powerful empire on the planet and subjugated any other species unlucky enough to be discovered by them. They enslaved the 'lesser races' either for labor, but also for pleasure -- although the pleasure was just as much about sadism as it was personal gratification. Archaeologists are still making new discoveries pushing back the beginning of their dynasty farther and farther back into the annals of history. However, their civilization had one major flaw that led to their downfall: nothing was ever enough. The only thing holding the dynasty together was mutual conquest, but there was no love amongst the Primordials for one another. Their dynasty eventually became large enough that there was little left to dominate -- except each other. War was glorious, publicly dominating a powerful foe was the highest euphoria, and soon, the only powerful foes were one another. The Great Primordial Slaughter was a time of calamity and horror for not just the Primordials, but any of the subjugated species. But there was a light at the end of the tunnel for the rest of the world.
There came a point where the population of Primordials was no longer large enough to dominate the world even with their immense wealth and ferocity. The last Primordials found themselves alone against an entire world that hated them. Even as the tides turned against them though, they relished the final battle and were said to die with smiles on their faces no matter how gruesome their ends were to the angry masses who came to punish them. When the last Primordial was slain, the world rejoiced and began an age of prosperity. However, a dynasty so large and so powerful who got off on the violation of lesser races were bound to have left hybrid seeds in the population. That began a great inquisition to purge them from existence since they were seen as a threat, prone to violence and conquest. The inquisition was believed to be largely successful, but every few decades, another distant relative of the demons are discovered and put to death. Even today, Primordial blood is a high crime punishable by death. Although, nowadays, controversial activists groups have begun to spring up to get those laws overturned.
Overview:
16 years ago, Ba'al's parents were discovered and put to death for being Primordials. The young boy was forced into the underbelly of society in order to conceal himself. Fortunately, he didn't have any egregious physical characteristics that gave him away, but he had to keep his bloodline a secret no matter what. To survive, he had to learn how to fight, con, steal, and perform odd jobs in Rawtown.
Unfortunately, his secret was discovered a few years ago and has been used as blackmail to keep him a loyal employed male escort. Although it is against his will and Ba'al is immensely resentful about being forced to essentially be a living dildo, he is remarkably talented at acting and deliberately avoids letting anyone know what his feelings are on the matter. Ba'al is inwardly resentful and full of rage, but outwardly charming and seductive. Since outward rage can make him lose control and show off signs of his heritage, he has to be very vigilant about controlling anger. He is by no means as physically powerful as his ancestors, but rage does give him a significant physical boost. Interpersonally, he has never had a close relationship with anyone since he is so guarded and prone to lie, cheat, steal, and do anything else needed to get ahead or protect himself.
One of the perks of the job is when stupid rich noblewomen come in to get dominated. Abusing them is a gratifying outlet for him; the more utterly devastated and battered they are without going outside the bounds of his contract with them, the better. His skill with domination, especially of a psychological variety, has garnered him a particular reputation with that sort of crowd.
