Shoto moaned softly when Katsuki rubbed at his feet, his whole body relaxing into the futons.

"Yeah, when I was a kid," he answered. His mom had said it often to him, before the scar. Like she'd been overcompensating for what his father put him through. He couldn't really remember if she had said it sense - if they did, it was out of habit. Like ending the day with an autopilot 'goodbye, love you'. But he wasn't sure.

He didn't talk about his therapy much, because a lot of it circled around his childhood, but he was determined to fix whatever kept making him want to run from this thing he had with Katsuki. Trying to convince himself that he deserved this thing that made him happy.

Katsuki didn't really know what the point of therapy was. His mother might have tried to get him into something like that, a correctional facility for his anger issues when he was young. He couldn't remember.

It just made him a little unprepared for giving Shoto any kind of encouragement or thoughts on it. He just didn't know how to. "You need me to do anything?" he asked, an awkward attempt at offering help.

He focused on the foot massage, hands then going up to his boyfriend's calves.

"Just don't stop doing that," Shoto requested, loving the feeling of Katsuki's fingers working his muscles that he hadn't even realized were sore.

He hadn't seen much point in the therapy thing himself, mental health wasn't exactly talked about, but Mina had been pushing him towards it for awhile and his last relationship blunder had finally pushed him over the edge.

"I'm going to fix myself," he mumbled, but it was unsure if he was talking to himself or Katsuki. "Be the best damn boyfriend in the world."

He was getting sleepy, the way alcohol muddled his brain, but he was smiling.

Katsuki worked his muscles a little harder, pressing his thumb into the arch of Shoto's foot, then working him skillfully around his ankles. Their training regiments could be pretty rough sometimes and they hardly got to unwind between them. He didn't say that Shoto already was, but the soft grin on his face told enough as he massaged Shoto's other foot, then his leg, working up to his thighs.

"Tch," he snorted at the sight of his boyfriend smiling like he was loopy. "How are you still awake." He rolled next to Shoto and looked ready to knock out himself, though he reached over and grabbed one of Shoto's hands to massage almost like it was comforting for him to do so as well.

"I'm not," Shoto lied, but as Katsuki fell next to him, he cuddled up closer, giving his hand over and sighing happily. He was probably going to hurt in the morning, but it was fine.

He opened his eyes and just stared for a moment, taking in Katsuki's strong jawline and dark eyes and the line of his lips that he loved so much. He'd always been so goddamn attractive Shoto wasn't quite sure how he'd landed him.

"Love you," he muttered before he yawned, and was definitely asleep a moment later.

Katsuki caught Shoto staring like he usually did, and snorted a little in amusement because Shoto didn't bother to hide the staring anymore. "You see something you like, you god damn sap?" he snorted, his words bearing no heat. Just affection reserved only for Shoto.

He fell asleep shortly after he made sure Shoto had gone to bed, tucking the blankets over his boyfriend and kissing his brow when his expression fell even, peaceful and loved.

He, of course, had taken the liberty of admiring Shoto too, the way his face fell even and how he looked so perfect, even with that unsightly scar over half of his face. Katsuki drifted off on his side, face just inches from his boyfriend's.

Summer's approaching quickly, and so is the end of Shoto's first semester in the Sidekick course. It didn't take him long to make up the credits he had missed, it was so much less intense than the hero course that it hadn't even felt like doubling up his classes, really. Still, he was proud of the work he'd done and the progress he had made.

True to the way most drama and gossip worked, as the week passed, so did anyone's interest in his showdown with his father on campus. The video had made its rounds on social media, but Endeavors PR team had done a good enough job that when it hits the media the slap is suspiciously missing. It doesn't show up online a lot either, and the places it does usually gains more sympathy for his father than him. He's not surprised though, Endeavors the number one hero. People flock to him.

The last time it's brought up to his face is during lunch, where he's sitting with Kaminari listening to his dating app woes, when someone he doesn't know but he thinks hangs out with Mineta decides to open his mouth.

Shoto looks him directly in the eyes and says calmly, "Keep talking and I'll freeze your insides to the point you'll be shitting igloos for a week."

It's not the most creative insult he's had but the guy backs off and Kaminari blinks at him. "You know Roki, at first I didn't see what you and Bakugo had in common, but I'm starting to get it."

Despite the tough competition coming at him from all sides, Katsuki had managed to stay at the top of the hero course. He'd even managed to surpass Deku in their final exams, coming up as number one in the entire University when it came to skill and strength.

Of course, this success came at a cost, as people began to gossip that Katsuki had earned favors from his boyfriend's dad. He'd already gotten fired from Endeavor's agency so the gossip just infuriated him more. He didn't take handouts. Not like Deku.

So he too was a bit grumpy when he joined Shoto and Kaminari for lunch. He grabbed Kaminari by the shoulder and shoved him down the bench until he slid a good distance away from Todoroki, then fitted himself between them.

"We're signing up for this shit," he said as he slapped down a flyer for summer boot camp. It wasn't for everyone, just heroes-in-training that thought they were ready to test their compatibility with a sidekick.

It was supposed to be gruelling and hard, with scholarships and prize money offered to pairs that made it through the weeks. It would be good for them both.

Shoto smiled at his boyfriend even while Kaminari complained and flailed all the way down the bench, pouting as he got comfortable in his new spot.

"Hi," he greeted, hooking their feet together under the table as he leaned over to look at the flyer.

He was already nodding in agreement when he saw the scholarship award. Natsuo wasn't complaining about paying Shoto's tuition but he'd feel better about it if he could help.

Kaminari let out a low whistle. "You guys sure? That's supposed to be hard as fuck."

Shoto fitted him with the same blank glare he always had and his friend lifted his hands in defeat. "Forgot who I was talking to."

"For extras like you," Bakugo quipped, a little more terse than usual. Kaminari didn't seem to mind his friend's outbursts anymore, having beared the worst of it in high school to be discouraged now.

"Look, prize money," he grinned. "Finally a damn good incentive to do shit like this." Now, he felt like they could take on the League of Villains if they tried to sabotage their camp one more time. They weren't sniveling high school kids anymore.

"I was thinking about asking Jiro to do it with me," Kaminari said, trying to wiggle in as the third wheel. "Or... I might ask Kirishima. Hey, Bakugo, you mind doing me a solid and asking him for me? Please?"

"Just ask him your damn self," Bakugo snorted. "You're never gonna get anywhere in life if you don't take risks."

"Ouch," Kaminari whimpered. "Roki, come on, can you?"

Shoto shook his head and offered Katsuki the rest of his rice. "Katsu's right. Besides, Kirishima's info all that 'manly' shit. You know, like growing a pair."

It was a bit harsh for Shoto, but if Kaminari wanted to make it through the program, he was going to have to grow some backbone. "Or take the easy road and ask Jiro," he said with a shrug.

He was also down for taking the program because it meant they'd have a place to live over the summer. He'd figure it out if he had to, but this made things more simple.

"Geez, Roki, you're turning real scary," Kaminari pouted.

Katsuki scarfed down his food, snorting a little at how Shoto just backed him up. He was starting to sound more like him by the day and he thought it was pretty cute. "If you're not gonna be serious about it, don't bother starting, Sparky," Bakugo muttered. "Kirishima wants to be a pro hero. Unless you wanna be a sidekick, it ain't gonna work out."

It was tough advice, but Bakugo thought he was saving Kaminari some heartbreak by telling him what Kirishima thought.

"Anyways, Bakugo, you know Roki just told off someone just before you came? Told him to shit igloos and stuff."

Katsuki grinned. "Yeah, that's my baby."

It was a good point. Kaminari was still in the hero program himself, he'd have to either step down or pick another partner. The boys had always worked well together, but that was a big decision to make, and important to do before getting into something line the summer program.

Shoto snorted at the reminder of his insult and pressed a quick kiss to Katsuki's cheek. There was no point in trying to hide anything anymore, but he still wasn't very public with his affection, it was just who he was.

"Just tired of people's shit," he mentioned. "I don't have time for it."

He took Shoto by the nape of his neck and kissed him hard, caring little if people were around to see. After what Shoto had already pulled in the courtyard, a kiss here and there was admittedly nothing new or big.

"You're right," Kaminari sighed. "A lot of couples are signing up for the boot camp program though, looks like a lot of people had the same idea as you two."

"Yeah, we'll blow 'em out of the water," he said. "There's no damn competition."

He belched loudly after taking a long swig of his water.

He wasn't ready for the kiss and admittedly the sound he made had a lot more to do with interest than surprise. He glared slightly when they parted, a blush crossing his cheeks.

"I'm not sure every couple is cut out for working together," he admitted. "It's not easy." He'd figured that one out after the Nomu, when his entire world had zeroed in on Katsuki being hurt. Fighting at his side had been easy, the way they moved together like they'd been training that way forever, but it got scary when it got close, and that was something he was going to have to work on.

He frowned at his boyfriend when he bleached. "Attractive. So glad I kiss that mouth."

Kaminari nodded, seeming like he understood. When he spotted a familiar head of red hair, he tapped Roki on the shoulder. "Well, I'm gonna go talk to Kiri. See ya guys!"

Katsuki snorted, pulling up his legs to cross them as he sat down properly. "We're gonna have to amp up our training," he said. Where their careers were concerned, Katsuki was like a drill sargeant, always pushing Shoto to his limit, and training until they collapsed from exhaustion. To him, working out like that was just as euphoric as sex.

"And we need to buy more lube," he said casually. "'Cause we're gonna have a whole room in a lodge to ourselves."

Shoto hummed in acknowledgement. Katsuki was already kicking his ass but there was no point in arguing - he wanted to come out on top too, and at least he was a better leader than his father had been.

"A whole room, huh?" He asked casually. "That's a lot of new places to fuck." He ran his fingers up the back of Katsuki's hair, enjoying the way the buzzed strands felt. He wasn't even sure they were going to have the energy with as hard as they were going to work, but then again, it was Katsuki.

He grinned as he felt Shoto's fingers play with his smoothly buzzed undercut. His hair was still long and spiky at the front, untamed as the rest of him, but recently he'd kept the sides and back short to try something new for the summer. Needless to say he'd been getting quite a lot of unwarranted compliments about it.

"I'm going back to our place," he said after he was finished with his meal. "Got a surprise for you, too." He pulled out a discreet black paper bag from his backpack and dropped it in Shoto's lap as he got up. Inside was a butt plug, though this one looked sleeker than the one that they had, curved to tease the prostate just right.

He kissed Shoto on the cheek.

Shoto arched an eyebrow at the bag that was dropped in his lap and tilted his head for the kiss before he peaked inside.

He slammed his hands over it immediately, eyes going wide and face going red, as he swiveled around to hiss after his boyfriends retreating back, "Katsuki Bakugo you are a hazard to society."

How could he do this shit to him in public? He sat there for a little longer with his face in his hand and gift bag clutched to his lap before he had his cool about him and shoved the offending gift in his bag, zipping it up tight and following Katsuki back to their room.

Bakugo resisted the urge to cackle, but he still grinned devilishly wide and didn't say much else as they walked back to their room. As soon as they were inside, he opened an app on his phone. "So, you like it or what?" he teased, and as he dialed up something on his screen, the vibrator in the bag buzzed.

He'd been wanting one of these and after saving up more than enough money with the few times he'd gone to his job, he'd bought a wireless butt plug as soon as he was able to. Now he could torture Shoto even outside of their dorm, especially during those boring parties.

Shoto nearly jumped out of his skin when his bag started buzzing. He clutched it to his chest and even though they were alone still shot a look around.

"Are you serious?" He asked. Or squeaked more accurately. It'd been awhile since Katsuki had caught him so off guard he'd felt like he was going to melt right through the floor in embarrassment.

"What - when - what - oh my god," he muttered, and opened his bag but couldn't bring himself to open the gift bag.

Katsuki laughed at Shoto's embarrassment. It'd been too long since he'd actually caught his boyfriend off-guard like this, at least where their sex was concerned. "So I was thinking, those parties we go to are boring as shit anyways. It'd be fun if you wear that to one, and just 'cause it'd be too obvious if you wore a collar around your neck..."

He approached Shoto and reached down, confidently grabbing Shoto's junk between his legs none-too-gently. "I could put a collar on this."

Shoto and his fucking dick that decided whenever Katsuki was a little rough with him, it had to get all hard and interested.

"Put a collar on both," he quipped back, "it's not like our friends don't know exactly who I belong to."

He was caught between wanting to just disappear and push his boyfriend back and he knew he should be confident enough to play the game but he always got so shy.

Katsuki blinked in surprise when Shoto quipped back to collar both. Well, of course he wasn't going to argue with that. "Yeah? They don't know you're a kinky cock-slut, though," he teased. "Well, maybe Deku does." Part of why he'd bought that plug in the first place was so he could stake ownership over his boyfriend at those parties.

Plug up that hole so Shoto remembered who it belonged to every second. "Let's test it out," he said, backing Shoto against the wall. "Pull down your pants."

"Oh, fuck you," Shoto shot back. The Midoriya thing didn't hurt so much anymore, but it still wasn't a fun reminder ... except maybe he liked it a little when Katsuki got all possessive.

He let himself be backed into the wall too willingly, meeting his boyfriends eyes. He licked his lips and let go of his bag before slowly undoing the button on his pants, followed by the zipper, toeing out of his shoes before he let them drop and kicked them away.
