A smile curled at the edges of her mouth as Tre dismissed her apology. It was kind of him to do so, Eiri knew she hadn't made it easy. She still had those feelings, her fears. However, they were not Tre's fault. They were also unlikely to be anyone's fault. The Elder couldn't have known or more accurately wouldn't have thought of pulling her from another world. It was just a series of unfortunate events. They walked in silence towards his home, their bodies close. Being close to him helped out her at ease, the bond likely at play.
The village in which he lived seemed like it came from a fairy tale or perhaps even Lord of the Rings. It wasn't exact, but it reminded her of the books and later on the movies. She'd finished off the bread he'd given her and the soup was still carried by him. They came to a stop at a hut and she looked to him, "Okay." The word was soft and she slipped into the hut with him. She wandered into the middle of the hut, turning to face him. She didn't agree with him, that it wasn't much. She didn't feel like he spent a lot of time here and for sleeping it was fine. it wasn't what she was used to, but she hadn't expected it to be like her own bedroom or apartment for that matter.
"Thank you," moving to the table with him, she took the bowls of soup from him carefully, setting them on the table. Her eyes shifted to his bed and she shook her head. "You can take your bed Tre. I don't mind sleeping on the floor. Could be like camping." She carefully picked at the knot holding the two soups together and after a few moments it unraveled and she slipped the top soup off placing it before one chair, the second before the other. "I know you said we'd talk to the elder tomorrow, but can you tell me a little about the war. My purpose, in a perfect world.. About your people."
