Exactly. I'm not attracted to real kids, let alone primarily or exclusively. So I'm not a pedophile. And looking at cartoons doesn't change that.
Where does it state "real"? It's the sexual attraction to prepubescent children part that qualifies you for it just as much as someone who looks at real child porn

I've dropped scientific studies that back up my point. I've dropped populational studies that back up my point. When you have actual evidence, call me.

You've provided studies where they clarify pedophilia is a term not applicable if you only consume drawn content? Suuuuuuuuuure πŸ˜‚

No, it doesn't. That's not the criteria used. And again, for the last time, cartoons are not real children, and it's ridiculous to assume they are.
Obviously they aren't, but you're still attracted to the same features as someone who looks at real child porn if things are portrayed that way, ergo, you calssify as a pedophile.

Patrick W. Galbraith interprets this as evidence that lolicon imagery does not necessarily influence crimes,[73] while Steven Smet suggests that lolicon is an "exorcism of fantasies" that contributes to Japan's low crime rates.[133] Galbraith further argues that otaku culture collectively promotes a media literacy and ethical position of separating fiction and reality, especially when the conflation of the two would be dangerous.[134] Drawing on his fieldwork as an anthropologist, he writes that the sexual imagination of otaku, including lolicon, "did not lead to 'immoral acts', but rather ethical activity".[135] A 2012 report by the Sexologisk Klinik for the Danish government found no evidence that cartoons and drawings depicting fictive child sexual abuse encourage real abuse.[136] Academic Sharalyn Orbaugh argues that manga depicting underage sexuality can help victims of child sexual abuse to work through their own trauma, and that there is greater harm in regulating sexual expression than potential harm caused by such manga.[137]

Inability to distinguish fantasy from reality is actually a sign of a medical disorder, you know. You might want to see a therapist, you may be experiencing psychosis.

Hey guys, I understand this is a topic everyone here feels passionately about, but let’s not involve personal insults in our points. If the thread continues in this direction we will need to lock it.

Thank you!

The cope is strong. My point was never that loli/shota are hurtful. My point was that getting off to it classifies you as a pedophile and that it would be only beneficial to talk about it with a therapist. Also, this didn't disprove that assumption, nor does it strip the title of being a pedophile off of you.

Copium, literally agreed on saying they're not real children. Building a wall for criticism. Just accept the fact that you're a pedophile by definition if you like drawn porn of prebubescent looking individuals.
