The pamphlet detailed the phases. Lace's pregnancy would last about as long as it would take a Pokemon egg to hatch, about three months. After that, the birth shouldn't be difficult, if she was fed right, given the right treatments. Though for the birth, any pokemon center would be able to cope.
Lace nuzzled Aiden. "I'll stay here with Vesta if you want to go get supplies. She should be awake by the time you get back."

"Are you sure that will be alright?" he asked her. Already Aiden had begun to grow a bit more cautious about her. Not just for her sack anymore like before, but for the sake of there child. She wasn't even pregnent yet, at least she didn't look it, though for all he knew what they had done was going to work that very moment.

With that Aiden nodded leaving her to look after the younger pokegirl. He went to get the things they would need for the baby when it came, as well as the things Lace would need while she was pregnent. He also made it a point to buy a fire stone in case Vesta ever decided to evolve.

When Aiden returned, Vesta was awake but snuggled up against Lace, obviously needing a bit of comfort. Her ears perked when he came into view and she smiled brightly with relief. "Master Aiden, you're back!" She cheered, running over to hug him.
"She was worried when we took so long." Lace explained, meaning Vesta had been worried she was going to be abandoned again.

Aiden gently rubbed the vulpixes ear "Sorry we took so long Vesta..Lace and I where..just very occupied," he said unsure if Lace had told the smaller girl she would be having a little brother or sister soon.

Aiden was surprised Lace hadtold her, he thought since she had kept it a secret before she still would. Of course that would be foolish since at some point it would be known. He was unsure though if she had told Vesta that he was the father.

Vesta didn't seem to mind either way, still hugging Aiden. Lace smiled at them, only to turn her head as a chansey girl walked over to them. "Would you like to be tested now? We can groom her for you while we do so." She added to Aiden with a cheerful smile.

Aiden waied with her, still gently petting her. "So did you like it here?" he asked her trying to make the sitiatuion less quiet. He wondered howlong it would take to know if th baby was boy or girl. Of course it wouldn't be today, he was just getting very curious and excited himself.

They weren't waiting too long before a very glossy-furred Lace appeared. The Chansey girl let her return to Aiden before looking at the clipboard she was holding. "Well, congratulations. Lace is expecting and she's in very good health. Make sure you keep that up during her pregnancy for a healthy baby."
Lace purred happily, nuzzling Aiden. Vesta hugged the Lopunny too. "If you have any more questions, please ask. Otherwise, I wish you all the best."

Aiden wasn't sure if he had any. He took a moment to think of one before asking "Will it be like...human pregnency...will she be experiencing lik cravings, and stuff?" he was a little worried of mood swings, but he had been prepared for that since the moment they both agreed to it.

"Cravings, most likely. Probably just for berries and fruit and the like. If you're concerned about mood swings, Lace is very well cared for Lopunny. I doubt there'll be any issues with that. Just... avoid battles." She advises. "Otherwise, just keep her checked up in a Pokemon Center or back here if you're by this way again."

It was quite late by now. Probably a good time to head to the Pokemon Center, get some dinner and then go to sleep. Now that Lace was expecting, Vesta would need some serious training to be able to protect them all.

Aiden decided to go with the usual plan. They all left, he was sure he had everything though and looked at the pamphlet several times. Finally they where at the center, Nurse Joy greeting them and let them stay the night. He knew Vesta would have to be the trong one now, he decided tomorrow morning they'd find a place to train.

After dinner, Lace almost immediately curled up on the bed for some sleep. It had been quite and exciting day after all. Vesta stayed up a little longer with Aiden, asking questions and listening to stories about their adventures.

It was a little out of the ordinary for Lace to sleep before he did. It only made him appreciaite Vesta's company all the more, without her it would have been just a very boring night, until he wet to sleep.
