"Yes..veryy well Lace," he said giving her a small good morning, or just any time, kiss on her lips. "I've been thinking....what should we do now?" he asked her. "We've battled before...and no with Vesta we have a bigger advantage," he said to her.

"We could try take on the gyms." She agreed, stretching slowly. "Or there's the contests as well. I can help you with getting Vesta battle-ready."

"I think that would be for the best," he said with an approving nod. He turned a little to look at the still sleeping vulpix girl. He thought it was a shame he could not evolve her, though of course he didn't want to force it upon her.

(How should these battles or contests work out?)

Vesta continued to sleep, Lace laughing softly. "I think we'll be just fine with the three of us."

"Yeah I think so too," he said wodering how Vesta could sleep so soundly.

"I should go clean up. I'll find a stream and then bring Vesta with me for a bath too." She offered, starting to get up.

"Alright, this time be careful though," he said remembering the last time she went off alone.She would have Vesta now, but he still didn't want to be to layed back about it all.

"I will, I promise." She purred, nuzzling him before slipping out and going for a look around. She wasn't gone too long when Vesta stirred and yawned, twitching her pointed ears.

"Sleep well Vesta?" he asked the vulpix as she stirred awake.

Vesta nodded with a yawn, then nuzzling him affectionately. "I slept very well, Master. Thank you." She took a moment to wake up and then looked around, wondering where the Lopunny girl had gone.

"Lace went to go and clean up," he said noticing her searching eyes. "She should be back in a bit though," he added.

"Oh okay." She smiled at him, then perking her ears as soft footsteps approached the tent. Lace was back already. "I found a river we can use. Oh, good morning, Vesta." She smiled at the Vulpix. "I'm sure you could use a bath too."

The Vulpix's eyes widened suddenly and she crouched back in the tent. "No! No, I don't want a bath!!" She whimpered.

This was a bit of a surprise. He never thought she'd be afraid of taking a bath, but then again she was a fire type pokegirl, she probably hated water in general. However the smell of theirlate night ativities would be a problem. "Vesta, we need to get you clean...after all afterwards we are going to be doing some training."

"Nooo!!" Vesta squealed as Lace approached. "C'mon Vesta, you need to take a bath. I'll be there too, there's nothing to be frightened of." Lace told her softly.

The Vulpix whimpered, not liking the idea but Lace and Aiden had been nothing but nice and fun and loving towards her since they found her. She started to move out of the tent and Lace smiled, leading her out. "Aiden, are you joining us?" His Lopunny asked.

Aiden never thought to, but he needed a bath just as much as they did. "Yeah.." he sad wih a nod and went into his pack to get a change of cloths to take so he could change when he was washed.

Lace led them to a slow-flowing river not too far from the camp and began to wade in until it was waist deep. Vesta hovered on the shore, whimpering and not wanting to go in.

"Come on Vesta," he said to her gently. He would have picked her up and put her in, but decided not to, he thought she wouldn;t appreciate that.

She trembled and whimpered, edging a little closer as he said that but only let the water lap at her ankles a bit. Lace rolled her eyes, scooping water onto herself to wash with. "Ah, this is so refreshing!" She purred, grooming herself.

Aiden waitedfor the small vulpix. He guessed fire types really didn't like taking a bath.

Vesta waded her way in slowly, trembling with the cold and looking as though she fully expected the water to just swallow her up or something.

Aiden watched, feeling a bit sad for her. Though she needed to be able to get over this small fear after all.
