Lin tugged on her belt. It wouldn't stay in place. If only she could use the fabric tape on it. She pushed the bangs of her hair out of her face for a moment so she could see the adjustments she was trying to make. Pulling the belt into place, she tossed her hair over her shoulder. Taking a look at her costume in the mirror, she did a once over. Everything was in place. Walking to the door of the hotel room, she grabbed her badge and her room key. Calling to her roommates who were in the bathroom getting ready, she opened the door.

"I'll meet you guys at the cafe for lunch, ok?" she said, pushing the door open. She didn't wait for a reply from her friends. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes and thinking hard on the character. Popping her neck, she opened her eyes, seeming to be a different person. Taking a bit of a longer stride, her hips swaying, she lifted her head, look proud. Her shoulders were slightly pushed back, her face nearly blank. For a normally hyper person, she look very different to anyone who knew her.

Pushing the button for the elevator, she took another deep breath. This cosplay was going to take a lot of focus. The wooden sword that she had worked on for months was heavy. The weight pulled her down ever so slightly, taking away a bit of her height. Her eyes jumped to the light as the elevator dinged. Looking at the doors, she glared at the people who were in there. They all stepped back, like she was going to strike them and as she stepped in, turning her back to them a small smile slipped on her face.

Shaun sighed, finally having a chance to wear the costume he'd worked on for awhile. It took years for him to even grow the hair right that he was considering just making a wig. He had missed a few cons since he couldn't manage any other character without messing up the hair. To top it off, the fluff scarf he needed was a pain in the ass on it's own. He managed to get enough cotton, but getting it to fit and stay right was tough. And not only that, but he had to make it a few different times to find ways for it to not fall apart when it dragged or someone stepped on it.

The small armor he wore was made of a thin metal to keep the shiny look without having to do a glossy paint. He had spent so long on the clothing that he didn't want to bother with more, but the katanas were wood. They had to be of course. Luckily he knew someone to do the makeup, needing the markings done without having to look in a mirror, that would of been a disaster.

He was finally off and out the hotel, heading towards the place he needed to be. It didn't take much for him to get into character other than the thoughts of the show a bit. He was already a lot like Sesshoumaru, so it wasn't going to be too hard for him to stay in character.
