Non was a beautiful daughter from a very old, established and wealthy family.
Just like her family, she was well connected, smart and successful.
There was something else, however, most didn't know. Secretly the family was a family of sorcerers. No mere dabblers, the family had perfected its craft over generations upon generations. Non was the most recent prodigy of the family and a very promising one. However, she had yet to have her test initiation.
Non was sent out to live out on her in the regular world. During that time, she had to learn as much about the human world as she could, find the hidden key stone (hidden by her family for the test) and choose a mate for life.
It was with that Non left her home of 20 years and moved to a city, moving into a small apartment so as to not be too conspicuous during her time among the common creed.
