Sure, do you have any ideas right now?
I was thinking the Officer got injured ? And you take care of him?
That sounds kind of simple and boring though.

Or she could be married to him? Because he was an Officer, and unknown to her.
He was committing "insert" something here.​

Specifically I don't have a whole lot. Injuring could work out. Like, maybe she mends him or whatever.
Or perhaps, she could be taken as prisoner by accident and then just decides to work around the camp as a nurse.
But anything is fine with me.

Hmm... how about the loyalist girl is associated with a group who's planning to overthrow the King/Prime Minister because they don't see him fit to rule, and being a loyalist girl she's fine with this because she's loyal to the government, and she probably thinks the King/Prime Minister isn't an ideal person for this government, so she plans or is associate with a group who plans to overthrow the King/Prime Minister. And the British Officer gets news of this.

Etc, etc, something my mind cooked up while thinking the British Government.​
