And she as well, though the day came and Kate gave a light sigh as morning came and passed as it was the afternoon now and her mother was standing in the hallway. The fighting and such had passed and it seemed that everything had moved on, but Kate was still hoping to get to her brother soon. Though today they were heading to the grocery store, in the car as they waited at a traffic light. Though it was now rush as everyone was getting off of work, people honking and yelling at everyone to move. Though once they made it through the intersection, it happened.

Kate peered up and over to the side as they were only halfway through the intersection. The light was red to her side but it seemed as if the cars were stopping. Or more so, only one wasn't stopping, the others stopped and she breathed in. "Mom..?" Was all she managed to ask as her looked over to the side and their eyes widened. The sound of smashing metal was heard, screeching tires and screams. Though everything went black, and soon after the sound of yelling voices and bright lights. Kates eyes opened up and she groaned softly, "She's coming around!" Someone yelled and she soft whispered, "Ryu.." She she swallowed.

Over the hours, Ryu had been reached. His phone ringing off the hook as the doctor held the phone to his ear. "Ryu? Hello, this is Doctor Robertson. You're mother and sister have been in a car crash. I'm sorry to tell you this, but your mother was killed on contact. But your sister is pulling through, she is asking for you. When can you be here as soon as possible?" He asked with a light sigh.
 
When he heard what the doctor was saying his mouth hung wide. He didn't know what to say, or even what to think. He spoke, but he didn't know what he said. He moved, buying tickets home and was there within a week. He ran to his sisters room, opening the door and looking in,"Kate?" He asked, seeing her in the bed, looking a bit roughed up. He couldn't help but tear up a bit, seeing her like this when he could've protected her, could've taken her with him to prevent this,"H-hey..." he said simply... it was all he could get out.
