The Dragon Knight (Ren Olvry & AlabasterDragoness)

"Oh... Valar..." She had almost forgotten about him, what with their day of love-making and the like. She finally mustered enough willpower to slip out of the bed to go ask for some food to be brought up. Once she returned to his side, she plastered herself to him.

"You wore me out," she teased, burying her face in his arm before running a hand over his cheek and wing.

To that, Drace gave a small nod. The other dragon would need at least some attention, he knew well enough, but Drace was confident he'd be able to stay out of trouble for now. Otherwise, his eyes wandered off after Joanna as she got up to call for food, his arm soon wrapping right back around her waist when she returned to the bed.

"I do believe that was the point," he teased in turn, pressing a small kiss to her hand as it came to stroke across his cheek. "And not for the last time, I could certainly imagine..." he added, a little smirk forming on his face, at least for a moment.

"What do you think, then? Perhaps that servant from earlier that you said wouldn't be saying anything to anyone else, a couple of the tailors... a few others, to send over there soon? They'd quickly see he's a fair bit more harmless than me, and it could be another small step forward," he suggested, knowing Valar, at least, would much appreciate it... even if he just as likely wouldn't be leaving those people alone afterward. "Or just the two of us could visit sometime tomorrow, and you can see how much he's no doubt done already."

She couldn't help but shake her head and laugh. "Certainly won't be the last time." As he brought up who they could send to send Valar with her estate, she nodded, keeping her head on his chest as she thought things over. "The one servant, yes. I would have to see who else wouldn't mind." Of course, Sebastian might question her, but she would simply brush it off as the estate shouldn't be kept in disrepair.

"Whatever works best for you," she yawned, now tracing patterns on his chest.

Hm... perhaps, then, they could take a bit of time in the morning, or something of the sort, to see, Drace mused. No need to think on it too much for now, at least... though to Joanna's next point, he tilted his head slightly in thought. "So long as you're willing... I think bringing other people there sooner, rather than later, could be good for him, and for the way another dragon might be seen here," he suggested.

"Perhaps in the morning, we can start making some arrangements, and see if we can make it there by the afternoon? I'd have to check on him regardless, so it should be fine if it does take a bit longer," he suggested in turn. "A fair warning, though... he is a scout, after all. Little doubt he'll be aware we're coming before we get there... and he won't be found if he doesn't wish to be."

"Sooner rather than later, yes." Bringing her head up, she rested her chin on him as she continued to trace patterns on his chest. Chuckling that Valar might be hiding from them when they arrived.

She stretched, glancing him over before smirking. "If I wasn't so tired, I'd be doing other things to you."

Tomorrow, then... they could at least see how things went. For now, though, Drace chuckled a little at Joanna's next comment, another little smirk crossing his face. "If I wasn't tired, I'd be more excited about the prospect," he teased. "But we'll have more than enough time for it... and there's certainly nothing stopping us tomorrow night after everything's done, once we have the energy..." he suggested, an almost playful little growl rumbling through his throat before his ears perked a little to a knocking at the door, his arm loosening around the woman's waist.

"That, though... would likely be the dinner, hm?" he suggested.

She drew in her bottom lip at his playful growl when there was a knock at the door. "Most likely." She slipped out of bed once more, donning a robe to take the tray. She brought the try back and sat next to him, setting the tray in her lap before she began to eat. "But tomorrow night does sound promising," she purred, running a hand over his little tufts of fur. She certainly loved making it known as to how much he had affected her.

"You know, it would be interesting to see how everyone would react if our affair was public." Well, maybe in a few months... though she expected to be met with some objection.

Glancing off after Joanna, Drace soon enough shifted himself up to a seat next to her, not wasting too much time starting a little on his own food. Giving a little smirk at her next comment, the dragon gave a small nod in turn, a light, content hum escaping him as her hand slid over his fur.

"I'm sure at least some would wonder if I was ever a knight at all," he suggested with a little chuckle. "Others, curious, possibly even fascinated at the thought... I expect there would still be objection to having this intimate of a relationship, regardless of what we do, but there's not much to be done about that," he mused, giving a small shrug. "Either way... I imagine a decent few even by now would accept it, perhaps even see it coming. But we still have time to work on that, hm?" he added, giving the top of her head a gentle little nuzzle in turn.

"Though I do confess that I'm not at my most... coherent state to think on it at this moment. I think a bit of relaxing after we're done with food, then a bit of rest for the night, might be good for both of us by now. We'll need the energy for tomorrow, after all," he suggested, with a slight hint of a smirk.

Joanna continued to eat as Drace mused over possible reactions they could get when their relationship was more widely known. "I'm sure a few wouldn't accept it regardless," she said. She could already name a few.

It didn't take her long to finish eating and she curled up next to him. "That'd be nice." Of course, she looked forward to tomorrow.

No doubt they wouldn't... and Drace, just as well, could certainly guess a particular few who certainly wouldn't, for their own reasons. Still, he could worry about that later; right now, it felt a fair time just to relax and not think about too much. Lay there as long as he needed to 'til he slowly drifted back off to sleep, to wake about his usual time when the sun started to rise.

One more day of work, of a sort, he mused... though at least this time they'd have quite the easy pretense. For now, at least, he could lay there a bit longer, his arm wrapping slightly further around Joanna when he was at least aware of her. "Assuming you're likely awake... perhaps a bit of breakfast for now, before we start looking for others to help fix up the other building?" he suggested.

Joanna had quickly fallen asleep once she was settled next to him. She awoke shortly after him and plastered herself to his side more. At the sound of his voice, she began to stir again and glanced up at him with tired eyes. "Mm." She nodded without another word.

Before long, she slipped out of bed and got herself dressed before locating a servant. "Could you bring up some breakfast please?"

The servant bowed and made her way downstairs.

That, it appeared, was a 'yes'... though perhaps, again, Joanna had not been awake before him. But no matter; as she got him, Drace himself got up not too long after, steadily slipping off the bed and allowing himself a fair stretch.

"Will you at least be alright for the day?" he lightly teased, letting a small smirk cross the edges of his lips. "Besides that, though... shall I leave you alone for the morning? I expect people would suspect a fair bit less if it's just you alone asking for help with a place you once enjoyed," he suggested with a curious little tilt of his head.

She nearly protested when he slipped out of bed to stretch. She, too, stretched before answering him. "That might be best. I don't want anyone suspecting anything." While not ideal, it would be better if he left for the morning.

She soon got up, wrapping her arms around him.

Giving a little nod to Joanna's response, Drace mused briefly on what he might do for the morning -- much as warning Valar might be the 'right' thing to do, perhaps it was better kept a surprise -- before his own arms soon wrapped around the woman he'd been sharing such time with. "I think, then, in the meantime... I'll likely spend a bit more time studying, once we finish breakfast. At the least, I'll be rather easy to find, especially whenever might be time to leave," he suggested with a little grin.

"Though should we decide on a time to leave? It will take some time to walk there, after all," he mused in turn, glancing over otherwise at the knock to the door, no doubt for breakfast having come up.

She nodded. "Perhaps early in the afyernoon after we eat." Hearing the knock at the door, she went to answer, the same timid servant handed her the tray and left before she was thanked.

"Poor thing must still feel embarrased about yesterday," she chuckled.

Glancing momentarily over to what he could at least see, Drace let out a little chuckle of his own after Joanna's comment, giving a curious little tilt of his head otherwise. "So it would seem. Perhaps the little... retreat, of a sort, might be nice for her, then," the dragon mused. It was a thought, at the least. "Well... so long as Valar doesn't bother people too much with all the questions he'll certainly have..." he mused in turn, before giving a small shrug.

That would be a worry for a bit later... for now, he could at least enjoy breakfast before he'd move to head along to the study, to try and pick up on a few more things before they were to leave.

She set the tray down and smiled. "Perhaps, since she wouldn't have to listen to us being frisky with each other." It would be likely do the servant good to have a change of scenery as she liked being in the gardens.

As Joanna began to eat, she nudged Drace lighyky and smirked at him.

Chuckling lightly at Joanna's next suggestion, a little smirk crossed Drace's face while he otherwise ate. His ears curiously perking at the little nudge from her, that now teasing smirk widened a little, a mock huff escaping the dragon. "Yes, yes... I'll try and be careful you don't make too much noise tonight. If I can," he teased, a playful little growl rumbling through his throat before he leaned over slightly to nuzzle momentarily against the top of her head.

On that note, he went ahead and finished up with his own portion of the food, exhaling a slight, content sigh, before shifting himself up off the bed to get dressed back up in a simple pair of pants for the day. "'Til lunchtime, then, shall we say? Then we can get going with anyone you have in mind."

She giggled, accepting his nuzzle as she finished her breakfast. When he asked if lunchtime would be good for them to go to the estate, she nodded. "I will go and see how my brother is before we leave."

She wanted him to have a little bit of time to hinself before they visited the estate.

Ah... him, was it? There were still a few somewhat... odd things there, perhaps, but Drace saw no reason to worry about it for the moment. "In that case, I'll be seeing you around lunchtime... and I'll look forward to how the trip goes," he offered with a little grin, leaning over to press a small kiss against Joanna's lips before starting to make his way out first. Onward back to the study, for his own purposes, until she'd be ready to call on him.

And for Sebastian himself, who'd been largely keeping to himself from time to time, he'd just as well be easily found... writing, as he had also been from time to time.

Joanna nodded and returned the kiss before watching him go out to the library. She followed suit and went to where Sebastian was usually found and stopped when she was just behind him.

"Keeping busy, brother?" she asked. She wasn't sure who he was writing to, but she tried to catch a glance of the paper on which he wrote

"Mm?" Sebastian spoke up in slight surprise, though he made sure not to show much of it -- nor do anything like tearing the letter away -- as Joanna came along. Without that dragon of hers, he rather quickly noted.

"Something of the sort. I've kept in some touch with a few from around the outskirts; there's been nothing of concern so far, since the day of the truce," he offered, if slightly dismissively. It wasn't exactly a lie -- he had done a bit of the sort -- but his efforts, for the most part, had been elsewhere. "And yourself, dear sister? I've not seen that dragon -- Drace -- around as often, though I have heard he's been making some visits elsewhere nearby," he asked, though he didn't expect much regardless.

"That's always good," she said, noting his reaction when he realized she was behind him and hiding the letter he was writing. When he mentioned Drace, she nodded. "Yes, he thinks visiting the towns would help the people's nerves. They've received him well for the most part so far."

She attempted to peek at the letter over his shoulder. "And who are you writing to that you're so afraid of me seeing?" She gave him a little nudge. "Is there a special someone I should know about?"

Did he, then. Sebastian had become aware of that much -- if relatively vaguely -- but there was little he could do to put a stop to that now, much as he might have wanted to. Not with Joanna herself standing in the way especially. Perhaps he'd just have to accept that, in time... but it didn't mean he had to like it, or go down easily.

"N-no! There's nobody of the sort, not at present!" the man protested, grumbling slightly as he shifted the letter just a bit more. "What of you, though? You are the one with a suitor, by your own count; am I meant to simply suspect that it's that dragon of yours, Drace? It's... odd, and you know that, that something would come up so abruptly and you would say so little of it," he suggested, exhaling a slight sigh.

She chuckled at his reaction, though she was a little disappointed he shifted the letter more. When he asked about her suitor, she shook her head. "Oh, you know better than to assume," she said. "Besides, it just happened, and my suitor and I are seeing where things lead."

She wasn't about to tell him who, after all. "And should we decide we want to take that step, we will make it public."
