The Dragon Knight (Ren Olvry & AlabasterDragoness)

Once they went to their spot, Joanna was set down and she noticed a pair of blue eyes peering out before she noticed a younger dragon looming by the shadows. She quietly approached, sitting down and keeping a short distance between them.

"You must be one of Drace's friends," she said. Whether that was actually true or not was ywt to be seen.

'Friends'... that was one way to put it, he supposed. For Valar perhaps in particular, it didn't exactly feel accurate... but for the moment, he didn't yet move, only watching as Joanna approached a bit closer and took a seat. For a moment, at least, the dragon's eyes flicked over to Drace, only for his head to momentarily tilt to the side before he stepped out a little into the slowly growing moonlight, that seemed to reflect quite well otherwise off the smooth black scales, furless as he was compared to his former commander.

"So you're... the one he was suddenly sent off to serve, then?" he asked, taking a seat a little ways ahead of Joanna and exhaling an annoyed little huff. "They could've at least told us something instead of just... dumping him off in human lands. Or I dunno... sent some of us with him, or something," Valar muttered, before giving a small, dismissive shrug, a little grin spreading across his face as his eyes turned up to Joanna's. "Well, anyway, since I'm here now... name's Valar, the youngest member of the troop -- but I am an adult, whether I might look like it to you or not -- and the scout. And well, a lot less... grumbly than the commander," he cheerfully introduced himself, that grin only faltering just a little at the slight growl that rumbled through Drace's throat.

Though it would be fair to say he was rather used to it.

"I understand that," she replied. "They should have told you something before Drace was just sent off." Seeing as though Valar opted to sit a little ways from her, she stayed in her spot as he went on about himself until Drace let out a small growl. She turned to Drace and smiled. "Is that a habit of yours?" she teased.

Turning back to Valar, her smile remained. "It's good to see someone else likes to keep our grumbly Drace on his toes. I would hope you'll be able to join us and help me keep this one in line." She chuckled as she threw a knowing glance at Drace. She was joking, of course, but she liked to say these things to remind herself not to be so serious around him. Though, she was going to keep a few teasing remarks to herself as she didn't want it yet known that she allowed Drace to court her.

Come to think of it, he hadn't done much of that aside from seducing her and just being himself around her. Not that it was a bad thing. She would have to do something for him besides servicing him and making love to him.

"Mm..." Drace simply grumbled slightly, glancing off to the side in mild embarrassment in spite of the rather curious look to follow from Valar. Certainly, he'd shown a very... different side of himself here, both by necessity, and by ever further comfort. But Valar... well, if he knew the dragon as well as he thought, that one had only the one face. Easy and obvious to read, not as much so to deal with, at least for Drace.

"Wait... that's it?" Valar asked, on Joanna's next suggestion, his oddly frill-like ears perking in surprise and his head tilting slightly to the side in interest. "I mean... he just came here a couple weeks ago, right? Sure, I was part of his troop, and I am still gonna be loyal to him wherever he is or whoever he's serving, but..." he trailed off somewhat cautiously. Would it really just... be that easy to come into human lands like this?

"I'd warned her, at least a little, that one of my troop might show up early looking for me. She was at least a little prepared," Drace offered. "Depending how, or when, you may want to have him show himself, though... well, if you bring those tailors of yours in, that can easily occupy him for a full day, at the least. New things have always quite fascinated him, even when they're things most other dragons don't much care for," he suggested in turn. And, indeed, judging by Valar's expression, it certainly seemed to catch some of his interest already.

"We're working on having the citizens get accustomed to him before we bring those most loyal to him in," she explained. "He just spent the last week doing just that." Joanna sighed. "Maybe in the next few months we can start doing that."

She laughed. "Oh, the tailors would have a field day with him. Especially if one of them seemed a little interested in you when we needed you fitted for the ball." It didn't escape her that one young woman who assisted the tailor was a little timid around Drace and seemed curious about him. But that was all. "But the tailor would want to make you a shirt, and I know how much distaste Drace has for them."

Already, Valar seemed to be fine. He was certainly younger than Drace, but he would likely be the one to mind being in Thesdria the least, especially if he was so fascinated with anything new.

Next few months... so he'd have to wait, then? Well, he could, if he needed to; he'd already left for several days, so he didn't have a place back at Draconus, anyway. Still didn't stop him being at least a little disappointed that he'd seemingly just have to hide away as well as he could for a while.

"Well, I don't mind shirts and stuff. Long's they, well, fit around the wings and all," Valar assured with a little grin. Certainly, he wasn't wearing one now, as was fairly normal for them, but he himself, at least, wasn't against it. "But I guess... I'll have to wait around here for a while first, will I...? I could at least get food, maybe some stuff to help study about the area and maybe a bit of magic, right...?" he asked, those frill-like ears drooping slightly, only for Drace to meanwhile exhale a light, thoughtful hum.

"Yes... I suppose I should clear that up ahead of time. His family has a bit of a leaning to restoration magic, and a slight bit of illusion; it's why parts of them glow, or so they say," Drace offered on that point. "Please just... don't ask which. He's not shy about answering anything, including that," he added with a slight sigh.

"I said maybe. It may be sooner than that." Well, hopefully it would be sooner so that Valar didn't have to hide himself away from the kingdom.

"Well, the tailor is good about being accomadating." She looked at Drace. "Isn't she?" At the mention of Valar's family possessing magical alibities, she hummed in amusement. "It would be nice to have a fellow mage." There weren't many, and she couldn't remember the last time her brother practiced magic.

"So she is," Drace replied with an idle shrug, trying to ignore the slight excitement in Valar's eyes hearing that he might not have to wait too long. Well, at the very least, he could hope... or possibly sneak along if he really had to, though he doubted that would end well with his old commander.

"Well, I'm not... great at it yet, but I do well enough," Valar replied with a little grin. "So you are as well, then? What kind?" he asked, his head tilting a little to the side in curiosity. "Ah, though... should I not keep you two long? I know it is getting kinda late... I just like being around folks, I guess," he added, before exhaling a slightly annoyed little hum. "Well, besides... no, never mind."

Joanna chuckled. "Destruction and alteration. But I have a court mage that would be happy to help you improve." Well, the court mage would have to if she asked him to. When Valar wanted to add something and stopped himself, she looked at him curiously. "It's alright, Valar. I'd prefer you speak your mind."

She allowed everyone else to do so, after all, even if she didn't agree with what they had to say. Though perhaps after he did, she and Drace would return to their rooms and she might reveal to him how much she missed him.

Destruction an alteration... so rather different styles than he used. At that prospect, though, Valar's ears once again perked in interest, curious how much human magic or studies might be different than what he was used to, mostly just with his family. That, and meeting plenty of new people, seeing plenty of new things... well, he couldn't say he wasn't excited, even if he might have to wait for most of it.

That next point, though... another little hum escaped him then, his ears falling back slightly. "The knight you sent back... Perseus, wasn't it? Well, he's..." Valar trailed off for a moment. "...strict, I guess I can say. A lot stricter than Drace was. I dunno if he's just trying to act like a lot of us, or he doesn't really like us, or he's trying to get some others on his side, but... well, that's at least part of why I decided to run off and come looking..." he replied. "So... I'd like to stay here. Whenever I'm able to," he added with another slight grin.

At the mention of Perseus' behavior as of late, Joanna gave Valar a concerned expression. "That doesn't sound like hin at all. He's never been strict with his men here." Of course, she only saw him being more encouraging and the like when she and her uncle were around. "I'll have to send a letter to Jarus and ask a out Perseus, then."

She sighed. "My family has an abandoned estate east of the castle. You're welcome to stay there, if you'd like." She wasn't about to turn him away or not let him have a roof over his head.

Well... if Joanna said so, Valar supposed. He felt a bit bad leaving the rest of the troop behind just as well... but he couldn't say what might happen anyway, and had to focus on what was ahead of him now besides. Only vaguely noting the light, thoughtful hum from Drace otherwise, the younger dragon's ears perked back up some at the mention of a possible place to stay.

"We can go there now, then, right? And... maybe occasionally let people visit, like the tailor you mentioned, or the court mage, if they don't say too much about me...?" he hazarded, otherwise picking himself back up to his feet for now, his wings giving a small shift showing he'd be ready to leave whenever they might.

"Yes, we can go now."

She directed Drace to land a couple miles east of the castle where a large house stood, surrounded by a wall roughly a half mile high. The greenery had long since died, and vines began to take root against the exterior walls. Apart from this, there were statues strewn across the earth in pieces, weeds peeking out of the cobblestone walkways, and the gazebo was inaccessible due to the vines that have engulfed it. "It's not much," she said. "But it will do. I've been meaning to breathe some life back into it."

Her uncle was grieving so much that he ordered the gate to the estate to be blocked off and have everyone in the house moved to the castle. He only visited once shortly before he died, to walk through its halls one last time and remember his younger brother and relive all the memories that were made within those walls.

With that, Valar gave a small nod, curiously watching as Drace otherwise lifted Joanna easily enough into his arms... even if he'd basically seen it when they came here. Not paying it much mind regardless, he followed along behind his old commander, curiously glancing over the building itself once they got there in a short while. Exhaling a thoughtful little hum, he gave another slight nod when Joanna spoke, his head tilting a little in thought.

"Well... if nobody really comes out this way, it will at least give me stuff to do. Cleaning it up, and all that sorta thing," Valar mused. "Though it wouldn't be... too much to ask for at least a couple people to come around sometime, would it...? Maybe... the tailor, or someone to help get the place a bit, well... nicer again?" he curiously asked, his eyes still idly wandering the building, seemingly thinking what he might want to do for now.

"I can always send a few servants out here," she replied. "It'll be more replacing things and the like than anything else. But it would move things along if a few more were stationed here." She glanced over at Drace as Valar looked around. "It's a shame to see it like this. I remember what the house looked like years ago."

It would be nice to see the estate restored again.

"Well, there's nothing stopping it from looking like that again, right?" Drace suggested with a little grin. "Perhaps within the next few days -- if you're comfortable with that soon -- we can let a specific few know there's another dragon out here, and that the place is ready to be cleaned up some, then lead them out here so they won't simply be alone when meeting this new dragon," he suggested in turn, glancing over to Joanna with a curious little tilt of his head.

"In the meanwhile... Valar," he addressed the other dragon after, who quickly snapped back to attention. "I'll leave it to you to start cleaning this place up a little, and we can make sure you at least get some food out here as well. For now, go ahead and get some rest; you could probably use it, as could we," Drace suggested, glancing over to Joanna in case she might have anything further here.

Joanna nodded. "Don't worry, Valar," she addressed. "We'll have a few others here in the next few days. I certainly hope that we can be friends." She figured he would likely be happier here than in Draconus if Perseus was acting the way Valar claimed. But why would Perseus be so strict?

After things were settled, she and Drace returned to her balcony where she pressed herself against him and rubbed his shoulder with one hand. Resting her chin on his chest, she sighed to herself and smiled. "It's been far too long," she whispered. Even if nothing happened tonight, she was planning on keeping him confined to the bed for the morning as she wanted to make up for lost time.

"Well, long's they're nice, then I'm sure we can," Valar suggested with a little grin. Besides, he was never really... suited for being not so nice, like many others from the kingdom; part of why he was a scout, he supposed. For now, though, at least he'd have something to keep him occupied, already starting to move along and look around inside once Drace and Joanna had started to fly off.

So, giving a little grin as she pressed up against him, Drace allowed himself a little chuckle, leaning his head down a little for now to nuzzle gently at the top of her head. "So it has," he agreed. "And you..." he muttered, a smirk starting to pull up at his lips as a hand started to wander downward from her back, slowly trailing over the curve of her rear. "I'd dare say deserve a little... payment for me having left this long, on such short notice..." he suggested, that hand slowly gripping into her rear. "You've treated me the last couple times... I think it's time I treated you again..." he suggested in turn, slowly licking at his lips.

Joanna grinned as his hand wandered down to her rear and squeezed it. "Oh? she asked. "What kind of payment?" She knew what he meant, but it was fun to tease him a little. "You do owe me, for leaving me all alone the way you did."

Giving him a fake pout, she held onto him as she chuckled. "And for me leaving me for a week, I'm going to have you all to myself tomorrow. To do whatever I wish to you." She gave him a playful wink as she gently squeezed his arm.

"You'll see," Drace chuckled a little, on the point of 'payment'. At Joanna's next suggestion, though, that smirk of his only served to grow even further, his hand giving another, somewhat tighter, squeeze into her rear and his head dipping down a little further so he could speak directly into her ear. "Oh, don't worry... I had no plans on going anywhere," he assured. With that, though, he slid his hands down a little further, gripping into her thighs and lifting her up a little against him so he could start carrying her to the bed, much as he'd done once before.

"If you would, then..." he requested once he'd laid her lightly back on the bed, the dragon himself knelt close by and already letting his eyes wander. Oh, he'd missed this, just as he'd expected... and certainly wasn't going to waste the opportunity to see more yet again. After all, he had suggested clothing wouldn't be needed on their beds...

She held on as he squeezed her rear more and lifted her up. As he carried her to the bed, she ran a hand over his head before he set her down. She began to pull her clothes off, knowing that he wanted to see more and thag he missed this as much as she did.

"Tell me," she said. "How much did you miss me this past week?" Already, she was rubbing his ears and waiting for him to make his move. She craved his touch more than anyone else's, and she was going to keep it that way.

Exhaling a light, content hum at the touch to his head, Drace soon watched almost intently as Joanna undressed, his eyes wandering once more over every exposed bit of smooth skin. His ears flicking up at her next question, and to her touch that easily drew a pleased sound out of him, he started to shift himself downward for now, nuzzling against one of her thighs before granting it a slow lick.

"I think you know by now... that I'm much rather show you..." the dragon smirked. On that note, he reached over to grip lightly into one of her thighs, slowly guiding it a bit further to the side and letting his head easily dip down between her legs. Craving all of it again, the dragon started with a long, slow drag of his tongue along her entrance, taking in a bit of the taste he'd so missed, before moving down a little further. Parting his lips a little against her entrance, letting that long tongue slowly bury itself inside of her, a light, pleased growl rumbling through his throat in turn. Soon enough he pushed his head in even further between her legs, his tongue slowly, but eagerly, starting to lap all along her walls.

Smirking, she opened her legs for him as he knely in front of her. She sighed him content as he buried his head between her thighs. Soon, she felt his tongue slowly lapping at her entrance. A few soft moans escaped her as he slipped his tongue into her and eagerly lapped at her walls. Her toes curled as she felt his tongue delve deeper and felt the vibration of his low growl.

"Yes..." she whispered, pushibg his head into her more and enjoying the feel of his tongue. She even shifted her hips for him as she bit her bottom lip to keep her voice down. "Oh, please, Drace. Don't stop."

Especially as he felt Joanna start to shift his hips against him, Drace let another low, pleased growl rumble through his throat. The taste, the sounds, even if they had to keep it down while they were in the castle... he'd missed all of it, and was most certainly going to prolong this experience, at least a little.

After a little while, though, he started to push that long tongue about as far as he could get it, in turn pushing it a bit more firmly against her walls as it lapped along them. Practically from bottom to top, at first, letting it eagerly explore... though he'd certainly not forgotten what he'd found previously, and with another low growl, he shifted his tongue over to drag over her sensitive spot, and all around it, soon starting to lap more quickly inside her as he himself started getting a bit eager for more out of her.

As he moved his tongue more, Joanna moaned more for him, even if she coulsn't be as loud as she wanted. She was forgetting everything that existed outside the room soon enough. She nearly screamed when she felt him brush the tip of hia tongue over her sensitive spot.

She wanted to last for as long as she could since they've been apart for a week, and she wasn't about to climax so soon.
