For someone built like Lillian the world had always been a dangerous place, even before she'd realized how strange it was. The young woman was only about five feet tall with a darker complexion and curly white hair that suggested some sort of otherworldly heritage. Her curvy figure was deceptive in nature, easily hiding the well toned muscle below the surface. Most never realized the threat untill the felt her legs connect with their body.

The better part of her life had been spent on the road living a pretty nomadic lifestyle until one of her friends disappeared and she discovered a whole new world around her. She'd really taken to this new life tracking down strange creatures and protecting normal people from them. Honestly it had all been pretty great.

Until today.
She had been tracking a dangerous Demon currently going by Tamiel. They had been wreaking havoc on the magical underworld. The demon didn't seem to care or differentiate between magical and non magical targets. So she'd tracked it all the way to a local abandoned cathedral, she knew a pack of werewolves had been taking up residence here so she was on high alert.

As she crept into the cathedral she could hear the campy maniacal laughter of the demon. She snuck along the beams in silence as the beast monologued at the three werewolves that they had easily laid out across the floor. A cursory glance let Lillian know that at least one was definitely dead. No questions asked. But there was also one still alive, the Alpha, laying at the center of the room barely breathing. That made the trip worth while at least. If she could just save one life, that was all she needed.

While she inched along the banister she hoped desperately that she would be there in time. She tied herself off to the rafter and then she jumped down from the ceiling, landing on the monologuing demon and driving a dagger into it's chest. But that didn't seem to be enough to fully stop it. Though the dagger seared their flesh and caused then pain, it would not be enough to be rid of the Demon.

The wolf sighed as he looked at the two, before shooting a glare at Lillian, "Oh please... lecture me more on how I'm supposed to fight the armies of hell, Missy," He said to her. He still got up and moved with her, walking inside and up the stairs as he shivered, "I didn't think saying a few words would open me back up, I'm not too familiar with magic," he said to her softly, "Besides, it was itchy anyways," he said to her, "And maybe I like you playing nurse with me," He said teasingly.

The other man growled audibly and grit his teeth, "Don't make me get a cone to put on your head dog, or make me spay you," he said glaring at him.

The wolf shot a glare back, "Try it big guy, better men than you have FAILED to do jack and shit to me," he said to him as he pushed against Lillian as if trying to get back down the stairs so he could presumably get into another fight with the man.

Lillian glared up at the huge man trying to bully his way past her, "GET. INSIDE!" She snapped at him, "Do you have a degree in demonology!? No. I think not so Do NOT start with me. INSIDE now!" She snapped. She was angry now.

Andre just shoved his hands into his pockets with a smug grin and a little laugh, "Awww, looks like Lil's did my job for me"

"YOU!" She pointed at Andre angrily, "STOP! Antagonizing him. For Fuck's sake. Andre Antoine Moretti! If you do not leave I will call your mother so help me!" Lillian shook her phone at him.

The man just went still, his whole name had been said and he was in trouble. His shoulders sank, "Aw c'mon lils. Don't call m'mama." his tone became softer and more apologetic, his accent slipping from urban to country, "Please Lils.. Lillian. Please."

She pointed to motorcycle parked nearby, painted cherry red with flames down the side, "Go. I'll call you when we're at the cove." She said firmly.

Andre just sighed and groaned as he turned on a heel and marched back to his bike, pulling out without another word. If Jack had read over the posters in the room, he would have seen the last name Moretti written in small text on the motorcyclist poster that she had framed.

Lillian turned her gaze to Jack and glared up at him, "Do me a favor. Swallow your fucking pride for like five minuets and trust me okay. Just... trust me. If I'm supposed to be.. what ever. Then you ought to right? Look. He's family. He's not going anywhere, he's got a hell of a mouth but he means well. I might not be as experianced as you when it comes to physical combat but I do know my way around a book or two. I do know what works and what doesn't. I know how to trap them so you can fight them on a more even playing field. I'm no mystic.. but you don't have to be. Even a normal human could pull some of this shit off." She points to the couch in the RV.

"Now sit down. Shut up. And talk to me like a godamned equal for once" She said glaring up at him, "If you want to stay here you better start treating me like you described me. Someone who can hold her own just fine."

The wolf man grunted as he was forced inside, smirking when she taunted him and said she'd call his mother. He snickered before she turned her ire onto him. He attempted to speak, putting his hands up in defence before she kept going. Swallow his pride? She'd never met an alpha before. The wolf growled and grit his teeth at her as she kept going but stayed quite. He grunted a little at her as she pointed at the couch and he moved slowly over to it before sitting down.

He kept staring at her and didn't speak, not once. She had asked him to shut up, so he'd do just that. He sat down and let her work, keeping his eyes on her bitterly as she cleaned the wound and slowly patched him back up yet again. He winced here or there, but kept his mouth shut for the most part, making only the occasional groan of pain. It didn't take the girl long to finish and when she was done he simply stood up and walked back into the room, where he laid back down on the bed, but not before taking the towel off in front of her.

He didn't talk to her for well over an hour, not even making noise until it was clear he was both asleep and dreaming. At that point he was struggling in her bed, clawing out, moving around, rolling around and growling before he finally let out a howl, transforming in her bed into his beastial form. At least one blanket got torn up as he sat up, finally awake and rubbing sleep out of his eyes, "S...sorry," he said, "I had... I had a dream about... those creatures... " he said softly as he grit his teeth, looking quite on edge.

"I swear, it's like talking to a brick wall. " She said as she watched him walk off. Seeing him drop his towel and walk off naked she covered her face hiding the blush on her cheeks as she finally got a real good look at him. Like a chiseled Adonis. It almost made up for his obstinate personality. Almost. She just rolled her eyes and let him go off to sulk or sleep or what ever he had planned.

She spent the time he was sleeping packing and prearranging supplies for their next fight. She was stoppering some flasks of holy water when she heard the howl and felt the camper shaking. When he'd settled down she got up to check on him. Opening the door with a worried look. She just sighed and stepped in. She didn't seem upset, "Its okay." She said in a soft voice, "I have a lot of these. I can replace blankets."

She approached the huge wolf man and reached out to stroke his fur, "You're safe here. It's okay." She said in a low soft voice, "I keep trying to tell you that. You are. Safe." She continues to say as she reaches up to stroke his muzzle, "Take a few deep breaths. Every camper in our Caravan was warded with iron nails and holly brackets. Sigils carved into door frames. Hidden in decor. Old magic. Strong and true. This is as much a safe house as your cove. It may rattle and wobble and feel flimsy to the touch. But no one enters without invitation or instruction." She continued to pet him.

The beast of a man was nearly a half foot taller in this form, and as she reached out to stroke him he growled slightly... but as she stroked his fur.... it almost sounded like... purring? He sat back down and his leg moved a little as she pet him. He listened to her and nodded, not saying a thing for a good few minutes before responding, "Any other person who would pet me like this..." he said, "I'd have broken there hand," he said , "So enjoy this," he said to her softly.

With that the beast man leaned into her, "I... lost two good people," he said, "They didn't deserve this... I know simon worries, you probably got that from him, but he told me this smelled funny, told me I should tell the vampires, check in at the very least... and yet..." he said with a sigh, "I got them killed. It was my fault, I did this, I deserve this, I deserve worse," he said to her softly as he shifted a little and moved to lay down on her lap, letting out a soft whimper, the first soft noise she'd heard him make since meeting him.

Lillian continued to stroke his fur reguardless of warning, "all bark with me as always then" she teased him. Her tone was as gentle as her hands though.

She let him speak as she continued to stroke his fur, "It's not easy to loose people. You have been through quite a lot. It's terrifying and it's okay to let yourself be scared or sad. You just acknowledge it, process it. And use it for fuel later down the road." The small woman just sighed and adjusted herself so that she was more comfortable, "and don't lie to me. And try an play it off like you aren't. Anyone would be. Now I can have my contacts go talk to the Vampires or we can go. It's up to you."

The man growled and sighed, "I'm not allowed to be sad or scared in front of anyone, that makes me weak, it means I'm easily overthrown, it means I have to kill a packmate trying to take leadership. It means a lot of things that I don't really wanna dwell on," he said softly, "Since I started working with the Vampires I think I've killed more of my pack members with my own bad decisions than we've lost fighting for territory from other groups," he said softly as he sighed and closed his eyes, "Yeah, I need to face the music eventually, lets go talk to those bastards," he said.

"Yeah but I'm not someone you need to impress" she says as she eyes him with concern, "so if you need a moment. To be weak. Then be weak while you can". She leans down to hug him, pulling him into he bosom. "They aren't expecting any of us till later so take your time"

Lillian continued to pet him, her hand moving over his head, towards his back. Her fingers moved over his pulling out loose shedding strands as she gently groomed him in the process. Her soft touches moved over his back and shoulders, massaging him gently as she did. Her touch was warm and exploritory. She was trying to find what relaxed him the most.

The man smiled as she spoke, "You are someone I have to impress though, even if you don't think it," he said softly, "I... I honestly can't tell you how I know this but I think you are... someone who's going to be much more important than you think," he said softly, "I think you have a bigger role to play in the world than even you know," he said to her softly.

He smiled up at her as she pet him and pulled him closer, "Your touch is magical," He said softly, "You just feel... so...." he let out an almost purr. A deep seated growl as his tail waved back and forth, "How long do we have?" he asked her softly as he nuzzled against her breasts a little and glanced up at her.
