Out of my Brothers Shadow (Inarifox x Lustfulsins)

Venn grins, showing teeth and a rather impressive pair of upper fangs. This boy he's rooming with has such a foul mouth. It makes Venn want to put Aiden in his place, but he also doesn't want to push too hard. Something tells the Vemyr that the kitsune has troubles with people; he's so quick to jump on the defensive.

"Nah, I won't bring anyone here. Wouldn't want to make you jealous." Troubles or not, Venn's still going to flirt with the boy. He stretches his arms over his head, groaning at the pull in his muscles. When his arms drop again, his markings seem to shiver on his tan skin. "Well, we should go get dinner from the cafeteria before it closes. Unless you want to go out? There's this awesome little internet cafe with the best coffee around. My treat, as a welcome to Redbrook College."

The fading sunlight that was coming in through their window caught Venns markings in just the right glow that Aiden couldn't help but stare at them, until he caught what he was doing and quickly looked away from the gorgeous demon. "You wish. You couldn't make me jealous."

Aiden wrinkled his nose at the thought of cafeteria food. No matter how great the school cafeteria food wasn't usually the greatest. "Well if your paying, I guess I could be pursauded to go to a coffee shop."

Venn smiles when he sees Aiden staring. Probably at his markings, he gets a lot of strange looks and stares for them. Vemyr aren't exactly a common species, and Venn is the only one at this college. He flexes his muscles a bit, just to make his markings quiver. "You like them? My markings, I mean. It's okay, people stare all the time. The history of my species, Vemyr, is that we evolved from the pet snakes of gods, and that our markings are a residual detail of the scales we used to have."

For the first time since they've met, though it hasn't been long, Venn isn't flirting. Just simple conversation about himself. He stands, heading to his dresser for a white tee. "The cafe is pretty casual, so just wear what you're in. Ready to go?"
