"It was a pleasure meeting you again and I wish you well. Good luck on your cartography~!" She smiled.
 
"Thanks..! Hey uh.. doc would.. well I mean.. I know it ain't exactly regular procedure but uh..would.. you maybe wanna..Iunno.. grab a cup of coffee some time..?" He asked.
 
She blinked and blushed softly, "Oh, uh...well, it isn't very ethical...as I'm your new doctor...but...I am new, and have no idea where much of anything is..." She smiled.
 
"Perfect!" He cleared his throat to hide his excitement. "I eh.. when do you get off?" He asked.
 
"Ok! I'll see you Saturday! Oh!" She took her pen and wrote her number in her notepad before giving it to him.
 
He smiled and shook her hand again as he walked back to his truck. After their first coffee meeting, they began seeing eachother a lot more.
 
She didn't think she would be with a college boy. Sure, she just barely finished med school, but he was doing extensive study on rocks. He was a gem. Pun intended.
 
It was really unprofessional of her. She was his doctor. She had all his personal information at her finger tips. It wasn't right. But she couldn't say no to him.
 
They were meeting up again, to go to the pier by her house. She liked the ocean, said it reminded her of home, no matter how much she hated it over there on the east coast.
 
He laughed a bit. He was in a loose button up and swim trunks, smiling bright. "You ready to go? Or you need some more time?" He asked.
