((Aww! Poor Renne! We'll miss you, you big, lovely kitty!))

The ship was drifting slower through the field, almost halting while asteroids flew all around it. They'd be safe there for a while. Maybe a couple of sleep cycles. She had to plan out where they'd go next. Darkside was an option. It was a smuggler base on the dark side of Earth's single moon. Called "The Moon" initially. They'd be able to be cloaked while they were there, preventing more advanced scans. But Darkside was a dangerous place at times. It was filled with Pirates, Smugglers, and just about every seedy profession out there. Captain could handle herself, but they couldn't be careless.

The felt the tail leave her waist and turned around to see that Renne had disappeared. "Renne?" She asked quietly as she glanced around the room. "I guess she had to take care of something." The young pirate closed her bedroom door and gathered her clothing before disappearing into the bathroom.

A small sigh escaped her lips as the hot water collided with her body and cacaded downward. It felt so good to be able to relax with a hot shower again, aside from the stinging that came from the water making contact with the fresh scars on her back. The young captain took her sweet time in the shower before finally emerging, clothing herself in her typical attire. She was still quite weak and exhausted but she did feel significantly better.

"To the bridge then." She said as she dawned her beloved hat, making damn certain that it was on straight in the mirror before leaving her quarters and walking to the bridge. Reaching the bridge she looked around to see the area barren... Except for Vraay. "Vraay... You know when I said everyone had earned a break that meant you too." She said as she walked closer to the pilot's seat.

((We'll go until Renne comes back. I'm sure kitten won't mind pouncing in the middle of whatever we got going.))

Her body was mostly disabled, so the intercom in the helm came on. Vraay's lifeless voice came through the system. "You said all non-essential personnel should break. With me here, I'm the only essential personnel. This way, everyone gets a break." It was cold, logical, and completely disregarding of herself as an actual person. Classic Vraay.

"You should be relaxing as well. I don't know all of what you experienced up there, but the wear and tear to your body indicates it was unpleasant at best, excruciating at worst. Though you're in a good enough condition to take control of the ship again, I implore you to take a sleep cycle to yourself, at least, and enjoy yourself."

((Fair enough.))
Skeith sighed quietly. Something told her that it wasn't going to work, but it was worth a shot atleast. "Vraay... You give so much of yourself for this ship... and for me already..." She continued to approach the pilot's seat until she stood next to Vraay. She set her hand on the other woman's hand gently. "Vraay... Just let auto-pilot take care of the rest." She said softly. "Come now, you've earned it."

Skeith was a rather sensitive soul, it was a side of her she could only share with Renne and Vraay who were more like older sisters than crew members. Seeing as she was an orphan with no relatives to speak of, Vraay and Renne were all she had, so seeing either of them work to hard caused her concern.

Vraay heard the concern in Skeith's voice. It pulled at her heart. The woman she called Captain wanted her to relax too, so she would. The intercoms flicked on in all locations. "We're in the asteroid field. Things are running smoothly. Crew will remain on standby. Essential crew will return to work immediately to monitor ship status and sensors. Rotate shifts ever half hour so everyone can keep resting."

Vraay turned off the intercom and opened her eyes. The restraints popped away quickly enough, as did the cord that linked her to the ship's computer. "Reporting for duty, Captain." Or lack thereof.

(( *lives* Now that the day of hell is out of the way ^^ ))

Renne had gone to her bed room, or as many called it the garage. Renne was a technological wonder when it came to building weapons that were small but powerful. Her suit was tiny compared to the human version of it. The jet pack were rockets the size of a person's balled fists. But they were strong enough to lift Renne's four hundred pound frame like she weighed nothing.

The arms had several weapons, canons, lasers, claws, chain guns and even the gruesome chain saws for when she was truly angry. The suit was able to survive in space, water, other planets and was also able to support several other people. The suit looked like it weighed over four hundred pounds itself but in truth it was only hundred extra pounds on Renne's form.

Her room was called the garage because she had peices of things every where, guns, weapons, old armor new armor that she was working on. She lived in her room but would always come to her lover's calls.. no matter what she was doing or how important it was.

Skeith smiled as she gave Vraay's hand a soft squeeze before pulling her hand away. "You are relieved." She said with a small wave of her hand as if she were pretending to act professional. "Now go get some sleep or find something fun to do." She said before closing her eyes and exhaling a little. "I'm going to go get some rest myself. I still don't quite feel like myself yet." She turned to leave the bridge, pocketing her hands as she did so.

She bit her lip quietly as she looked back at Vraay before once again continuing to her room. She'd talk to her when both of them were well rested. Entering her room, she closed the door behind her and approached a transparent red curtain that spread covered what appeared to be a huge closet. When she moved the curtain aside it revealed an enormous bed that looked extremely welcoming. With the curtain closed behind her she removed her clothing before crawling into bed wearing only her undergarments.

Vraay nodded. "Understood, Captain. Rest well. You need it." She stepped away from the deck after bowing deeply. "I'll take my leave." The Nurse would have to walk to her room. Not a big deal for her, it just felt bad to be told she wasn't needed. She wanted to be needed, and she also knew the Captain was only looking out for her. It was a delicate balance.

When she slipped into her personal room, only the tiniest distance from the Captain's, she slumped down onto her plain boring bed. She spent so little time in there. Such a large space for a simple single-person bed, a single dresser with clothes, and a nightstand. It was practically barren in there. There was a greater chance of bumping into something in the middle of deep space than bumping into something in her room. She just laid down, arms behind her head. Day 21: No sleep. Renne's noticed I've been awake constantly. But only since the Captain was captured. Renne will probably stop noticing now. She'll be all over the Captain like the adorable kitten she pretends not to be.

Renne worked on suit for hours, working straight through the night. Turning a bolt the suit reacted violently, Renne's eyes went wide as the suit shot off the remains of its battery acid in her face. Roaring out at the top of her lungs she swung around, hitting the emergency button with her large fist. Denting the wall with her attack. Holding her eyes Renne roared wildly, instantly girls opened the door and tried to help her. She just swatted the girls out of the way roaring in anger as she ran through the halls, her instincts told her to run, hide try and her wound to heal. But she was partly blind from the acid.

Skeith had just fallen asleep when someone tripped the alarm. The flash red lights followed by the loud sirens sprung her from her still light slumber. "What in the hell?" She asked aloud before reaching for her blade which rested above her headboard. She quickly grabbed her long coat but nothing else before fleeing her room with blade in hand. "What the hell is going on around here!?" She roared, looking at the nearest crewmate.

"I-I'm not sure. Renne just went berserk!" The young girl stammered, almost as frightened of the captain as she had become of Renne. Skeith's eyes widened as she heard Renne's name. She knew Renne's animal instincts were difficult to control, but something really bad must have happened if someone had to trip the alarm.

Vraay walked out of her quarters, and overheard the crew talking to the Captain about Renne. She frowned slightly, and began walking towards where the girl's "garage" was. She wanted to make sure that nobody else got hurt. Her right hand snapped back completely on her arm, a wide arc of electricity traveling over her exposed wrist. Then her hand closed back over and she shook it, getting the feeling back. Her face was grim, knowing she'd have to face a beloved kitten.

Roaring and running around Renne tried to hide, she could sense danger all around her. Roaring out she found her way to the deck, she was running on all fours, no clothes. Her fur standing up on end, looking very primal. Rubbing her eyes wildly as she tried to see, she could see figures surrounding her, growling she bore her fangs, she couldn't tell if they were friend or foe in her current state, her tail thrashed around as her claws extend. She never used her claws, she used her suits claws.. Her real claws were thick black monstrous things. Sharoe enough to slice through a door like it was wet paper.

Skeith moved down the hall swiftly in the direction of the chaos. "Get out of my way." She ordered to any crew who ran in her direction. "Renne..." She mumbled quietly. "Don't be a fool..." Her hands clasped her blade loosely as she walked down the hall at a brisk pace. Hearing a disgruntled roar, Skeith quickly began sprinting in it's direction. She knew that sound anywhere. It was Renne. The young captain rounded a corner quickly, only to find the carnage of any area previously assaulted by her primal crewmate. But she could tell that this wasn't the damage of rage, this was panic and struggle. In many ways that was more dangerous than Renne's anger.

Renne growled as she stood on her hands and feet, her claws digging into the wood of the deck, her eyes red and puffy. It was evident that she couldn't see in front of her, Watching as a person approach with a shiny object in their hands she roared, she ad forgotten this feeling, her kind were hunted like animals for their pelts. She growled and soon charged at the woman with the sharp shiny object her claws extended.

She could hear girls screaming out captain, had another group of pirates invaded their skip? Where they being attacked by other's. What was going on!?

(( My last post for the night girls, nighty night ))

Vraay managed to burst onto the scene, both hands retracted as large voltage arcs spread between her wrists. Seeing Renne in her panic, charging a crewmate blindly, she ran over and shoulder-rammed the girl out of the way, only to be in the way of Renne herself. As Renne would make contact, so would she, using her arc generator to stun the big panther. She knew the proper level of voltage and amperage needed to knock the girl out. But she also felt the claws tear into her. She only grimaced as she felt both flesh and cybernetic components tear apart, while voltage sparked over them both. The force sent Vraay into the wall, her eyes both darkened from losing power, both red and black leaking form her body. One arm was torn clean off, the shoulder socket sparking. Extensive damage was also dealt to her left arm and right thigh, as well as a rending on her chest on the right side where the arm and claw were obliterated.

The electricity ran through her body, her body shaking as she tried to stay awake. Soon the arm dropped from her mouth, her body still twitching from the attack. Soon Renne fell to her side groaning softly her body twitched, her claws stayed extended as she tried to swat anyone that got close. The girls were all worried, several were already around Vraay trying to help her. Renne roared out in pain tear burning down her cheeks her body was stunned since the shock had been shared between her and vraay. It was evident she was trying to get up but soon several girls dove on her body trying to hold her down.

Skeith rounded the corner just in time to see Vraay go sailing past her into a wall. "Vraay!" Her eyes widened as she took a step back, seeing Vraay's arm severed from her body. She ran to Vraay's side, her concern evident. "Vraay!?" She shouted as she checked the woman for a pulse. She was still alive. Her gaze shifted swiftly to Renne, her blade falling to the ground. "Get off of her!" She ordered as she approached her. The crew swiftly obeyed the captain and abandoned their futile attempts. "Take it easy..." She said with her arms raised, careful to stand in a docile position. "I'm here to help." She said softly as she reached out to the frightened woman's arm, unsure of whether or not the action was safe.

Renne panted softly as the girls backed of, her breathing was heavy in short pants, looking around she aw a figure coming towards her again. She growled and got ready to attack, but she heard the captains voice she relaxed slightly. She mewled and crawled towards the woman, she covered her yes as she laid down on the ground, her eyes were throbbing and she was scared, Renne hated loosing control to her animal side it made her look like a fool.. She would never live this day down, she could already hearing girls snickering around her whispering and chatting like school girls.

Skeith breathed a sigh of relief as Renne curled up at her feet. She got down on her knees and brought her to lay in her lap. "It's alright Renne. I'm here now." She said in a soothing tone. Her gaze shifted swiftly toward the bunch of snickering crew mates. Her eyes narrowing furioursly. "If you are quite through. Perhaps some of you may consider getting Vraay to the medical wing!?" She growled furiously. "If you have time to snicker you have time to help!" She closed her eyes irritably as her hand slowly stroked at her furry companion's hair.

"Bring me two stretchers! One for Vraay and one for Renne!" She shouted before looking down at Renne. Atleast they were able to stop her before things got too out of control. "Vraay..." She whispered softly as she looked behind her at the damaged woman. Before long crew members brought a pair of hovering stretchers to the hall where the confrontation occurred. She helped the crew lift Renne and Vraay on to them and strap them in. She walked close to both of them as they made there way to the infirmary, carrying Vraay's arm in her own.

Once there Skeith swiftly ordered the crew stationed in the medbay to begin preparing the appropriate machines and tools. She had no idea how any of them worked or how to help either of the girls, but the girls in the infirmary would know how to apply to appropriate aid, not as good as Vraay but good enough to get the job done.

(( I'm going to do a time skip, about a day ))

Renne wake up to darkness, she had been strapped down to the medical bed. Yanking on the straps she whined and turned her head. Looking around she growled. Her eyes were covered with bandages to let them heal. She had been sprayed with battery acid which had cause heavy damage to her eyes. The girls thought they had caught it before it could do any real damage.. but at the same time a couple said her eyes might be completely gone.

A girl ran down the halls and bang on the captains door "Renne is awake! She panicking slightly, she's freaking out because she can't see!" the girl yelled, she was worried that if Renne was left alone to long the pantheress would hurt herself.

Vraay was still out of commission. Her body had a wide scar down where Renne's claws had gotten into her. Her arms and leg were still mangled and severed. Her life signs were stable though. Just really low. Her vital cybernetics were still working, keeping her body going while it continued to recover. She hadn't nearly the recovery power that the big kitten had.
