Operation Valkyrie is now in effect [Shibby + Blue]

Werner couldn't help but give a light-hearted roll of his eyes when Stauffenberg withdrew the dice. Typical move on his part. Leave it to Claus to come up with something so simple it almost seemed foolish as a way to decide their fates. To top off the irony, he even was using their sole source of entertainment as their own magic eight ball.

Once it came his turn to roll, a four faced upwards and he gave a small nod before passing it onto the typist. Poor woman, stuck in a cabin full of loud men all week. He wondered if she had kids. Hell, he didn't even know her name. Funny how you can work with someone for so long and forget to ask the simplest questions. But then again, when plotting the future of Germany, small talk wasn't exactly on high demand. He had stuck like glue to Stauffenberg's side and he was pretty sure that he hadn't asked the colonel a thing about his own life and likewise from Stauffenberg to him.

Food and rations, huh? He'd either have to make extra room in his bag for that or find a place to safely stow away all those papers.

Cluase scribbled down the groups on a piece of paper and put it into his pocket. Claus looked around ad said "We should make preparations to leave today". He the got up and walked to the celler where they ad packed it full with food. He began to bring out some of what they had left and said "We should start diving up the rations now" he said begining to empty out the place slowly.

Pretty soon the rest of the men helped out and they began to place the rations that they could carry in their packs. The rest of the day was pretty much spent like this, diving up the rations and getting ready for the day ahead tomorrow.

Preparing was always a tedious task. It was amazing that although they hardly had anything left to pack, it seemed to take forever to do so. Most of the time, the groups were just bartering with one another, trying to make sure they had the best supplies specific to their group as well as their rebel brigade as a whole. Haeften let the others of their pack divy up the supplies while he just kept track of who had what. He'd rather not get involved in it.

Once everything was ready and done, it was twilight with a lot of night left to go... and everyone was itching with anticipation for their soon departure. "You should get some rest, sir," Werner stated, "If any problems come up, Olbricht and I can take care of it."

Claus looked at Werner and said "All right, thank you Haeften" he said. He then thought for a moment and said "Make sure that you get some rest as well" he said. Claus walked to one of the small bed and layed down on it. Some of the other members had gone to rest to including Anabelle, which was the previously unnamed typist.

He turned to his side and sighed a little to him self before he closed his eyes and began to drift of slowly to a sleep.

The next morning was a busy one. Claus and his group had to leave last as he had to co-ordinate the others. Soon it was time for him, Werner, Anabelle and Fellgiebel to leave. When it was time to leave he stood up and said "We need to make sure that there is no evidence of us having been here. Werner, you will have to destroy any of the papers that you cannot carry, we cannot risk them being discovered" he said to him.

That night, Werner managed to drift off into the easiest sleep he had in what felt like forever. Strange, the thought of leaving the safety of their hideout seemed more liberating than being within its walls despite the fact they were lambs entering a lion's den. He awoke the next morning refreshed and, like everyone, eager to leave the building for good. It provided them with the haven they needed but the past few days, it had become almost like a prison to them.

A small frown crossed the man's features when he was told that he'd have to burn what couldn't be carried. He knew that with all of the necessary supplies clogging up his bag, there was absolutely no room for the papers. He had been planning on stowing it away in one of the small cases that once held their food supplies and burying it the first chance they got to stop, but there was no way he could disobey Stauffenburg's orders. He hid his dejected look by turning around and busying himself with fishing out the papers from the case, saving only one- the original order they sent out to commence operation Valkyrie.

He stuffed the lone paper into his pocket- he'd transfer it to his bag once some supplies were used. As for the rest of the papers, he took them outside and lit a match to it, only stomping out the flames once they were reduced to ashes.

Once Werner had burned the papers, he was satisfied that they could leave. He picked up his own pack and put it on his back. the rest of them did the same and began to make their way out of the small house. He saw Werner stomping out the flames. The ashes would be blow away by the wind soon enough.

Claus looked at them and said "Lets go" and began to lead the group to the route he had taken to memorizing off the map. She sighed to him self and breathed in the fresh air for a change, calming him for the moment before he continued down the road, the rest of them following him. They kept of the roads as he had said they would for safety. The roads would be littered with blocks and checks, stopping all travelers to try and find them.
