The demon Rahal stood atop a pile of ruined rubble that had once been a building. Below him, many demons ran amok, destroying all in their path without mercy. The handsome demon brushed back his silk black hair as he smiled. His power was overflowing, destructive. In his arrogance, he believed no one was capable of defeating him. So far, he had been proven right. Many brave warriors had been slain attempting to vanquish him, so called heros after fame and glory. He wondered if any more fools were stupid enough to attempt to slay him? He could use the challenge. After all, being omnipotent was boring. Perhaps the next person who attempted to kill him would provide some amusement, one way or the other.

A loud demonic cry suddenly filled the air as a once-winged demon had fallen to the ground. Perhaps not too long after hitting the ground, a figure had landed right next to it, sending a slim blade down through it's heart to deal the final blow. The young woman had removed the blade from the demon, flicking it gently to remove the blood. Minami gripped her blade tightly in her left head, glancing around for the one behind all this. Most of the demons she had fought were easy pickings, so she was asumming that the master wasn't much different. She had been given the job to eliminate these demons and bring back the head of their leader, which seemed simple enough for her. She had a reputation of slaying demons, making up quite a name for herself. She was dressed in a elegant white robe, which fluttered gently in the gentle wind. "Hmm...it feels like they are near." she muttered, moving off once again, hacking away at any demons that came at her.

Rahal raised a quirked eyebrow in curiosity as he heard the cry. It was hardly alarming. He cared not for his pitiful minions. To him, they were all disposable trash to be rid of at a moments notice. So what if he lost a chess piece or two? In the end, he was still king. Nevertheless, he would go and see what the trouble was. It would't do to let a human think they could overpower just any demon. Shrouding himself in darkness, Rahal instantly teleported to the scene, where he faced down a strange looking ninja girl. Her beauty was quite striking. Perhaps there would be merit in allowing her to live....

"Foolish mortal wench. You involve yourself in affairs beyond your powers."

As Minami continued through the area, she was cutting down demons left and right, not finding much trouble in doing so. However, she was starting to pick up the presence of one greater than the minions she was taking down. It meant that their leader was nearby. she didn't do so much as flinch as he appeared to her, indeed sensing that he had a tremendous presence, but she wasn't backing down. "Ah, so it is you then. I don't wish to hear your reasoning, but I will delight in hearing your screams of agony." she said, suddenly rushing forward with her blade at her side. She stopped just short of him while slashing at his torso.

Rahal listened to the girl's ramblings with amusement. Human arrogance amazed him. Just because she was slashing through his weakest servants, she thought himself more then a match for a Demon Lord. He would show her just how terrifying his power truly was. As she swung her blade, he calmy reached out with his bare hand, catching the blade easily. The blade did not even nick his skin, and he seemed to be applying no pressure as he held the weapon in place.

"The only one screaming will be you. None who dare defy a Demon Lord may walk away unscathed."

Minami growled softly as he seemed to block off her attack without any effort. Though it seemed he was toying with her. "Tch. Don't underestimate me!" she muttered, tugging gently at the blade, though he seemed he had a good grip. She quickly pushed off to send a thunderous kick to his face, connecting with his chin. "I'm going to put you in your place!"
