Nessera winged through the darkness, bubbles of dreaming mortals floating through the darkness, illuminating the space just around it. No two were the same, as no two dreams were alike. She had been given her first mission, having finally matured to the point that the other succubus and incubus had finally deemed her ready. In appearance, she was no more than sixteen, if one compared her to a mortal. In reality she had just turned one-hundred and twenty-one. Upon the celebration of her birth, she had been given a singular mission. Pick a mortal, any mortal and enter into a contract. At the end of the contract, his soul would be hers and she would be a full fledged succubus.
Wind created by her wings stirred the flame colored curls away from her face, strong agile beats of the soft leathery appendages propelling her forward. Giggling she circled around a bubble and ducked around another. Lilith told her, when asked how she'd know, that she'd just.. feel it. So far, nothing about the dream bubbles called to her. The only joy she felt as she spirited through the dream realm was the feeling of freedom and exhilaration. To be a real succubus was her only goal. She gave a bright giggle as she shot upwards, bursting through a collection of bubbles she hovered over them, wings flexing before allowing herself to plummet back downwards.
Nessera fell on her back, hair rushing past her face as she streamed downwards, wings closed behind her. Suddenly, she felt a pulse. Wings snapping open she rolled in the air and looked around. Down, in the darkness to her left she could see an unusually dim dream bubble. She felt the pulse again, seemingly from the bubble. Frowning she flew closer. Other bubbles seemed to avoid this one, not that any really touched, but some seemed to linger closer to one another. This one was alone, near the bottom of the realm, flickering dimly. Frowning she reached out and stroked the surface.
Loneliness, despair, need.. Strong but sadder emotions. This wasn't what she had expected. In fact, most said they found their first needing and wanting. Eager, horny.. but generally happy. Not this bubble. Frowning still Nessera pushed her head through. Her head appeared in his real world, floating above his bed where he slept. Squirming through she floated above his bed, ghostly in form. No contract made meant she wasn't corporeal. Even if he woke at that very second he'd likely not see her.
The man asleep below her was handsome, his hair a sandy brown in tone. It fell about his face in haphazard strands. Reaching down, Nessera brushed her fingers along his cheek, pushing an errant strand of hair away from his face. Even in sleep he seemed to wear a frown. His brows drawn together and his lips down turned. Letting herself sink lower she pressed a kiss to his forehead, letting her consciousness melt into him. She fell though his mind until she landed in his current dream. It wasn't what she had expected, from tales from the others. She expected something.. What she found was altogether different.
Darkness. Cold Darkness greeted her. She couldn't see a floor or ceiling. Just him sitting alone facing nothingness. Shaking her head slightly, her heart ached for him. This man, was lonely.. even in his dreams. She blew into the darkness and his dream changed, bending to her will. This part seemed to come naturally to her. She pulled them into a warm cafe, his table near a window. She knew not to push his dream to far too quickly, doing so would cause it to break and snap. Outside the window, snow fell lazily. A warm fire sprung to life somewhere nearby, slowly warming him. A book opened before him, in his arms and a cup of tea slowly formed near his right hand, steam rising from it.
Nessera slowly picked how she wanted to appear. She still kept most of her appearance; the long flame red locks that fell down her back in soft waves. She left it loose. Her horns however, ebony black that curled upwards daintily were gone. Te same with her wings and tail, both soft and velvety in appearance. No, what approached his table was a cute girl. Her big, blue eyes likely the thing that would stand out the most. They were almost lavender in hue with flecks of silver in them. Like stars in a night sky.
She smiled at him, and cleared her throat, drawing her attention towards her. Dressed in a soft pink sweater dress, the knit chunky. It followed her gentle curves but wasn't tight to her form. A scarf wrapped around her neck in a soft white color. It matched the thigh high socks that clung to her legs. She didn't bother with shoes, it was a dream. I meant she didn't have to be realistic. She held a steaming mug of coco in her hands. She smiled at him, shyly, her eyes already about eye level. Nessera was short, even normally. She barely crested five feet. "Hi, could I join you?" Her voice was soft, sweet.. Though it held a tinge of something else that was hard to place. Though if one though long enough, hard enough.. it was lust. Part of her powers blossoming. "I am Nessera" She held out a small hand. Her first job beginning. She flashed him a smile, her canines slightly longer than her other teeth. "But if you like, you could call me Sera?"
