A Former Love :: Relix/Zexy

Aaliyah couldn't help but to wonder what exactly the male was thinking about. What ever it was it must have been something important. The air around him had become tense and his eyes were full of worry, full of questions. But why exactly? " Are you o-" she stopped at the feeling of his hands on her hips, wondering immediately what he was doing. It was as she felt him spread her knees apart that she should have been worried. If anyone else had dared to do something like that to her she would have bit them, yes she was a biter, and then proceeded to hit him with something. And yet here she was, here they were, he unharmed and she had yet to move an inch. She wasn't going to hit him, she wasn't going to bite him, and she certainly wasn't going anywhere. And she sure as hell wasn't moving, not once she felt his lips against hers. She didn't know what she was doing, sitting here and kissing a stranger but she liked it. Her hands moved from the railing and slowly up his arms, holding onto his shoulders lightly. This felt good. Really good. So when he stopped the girl almost whined, and even though she didn't do so she did pout. " Well what ever it is go ahead and tell me." She didn't really care what it was, as long as she got to feel his lips against hers once more.

As much as she wanted nothing more then to be held in his arms she did listen, taking an interest in what he was saying. He wasn't what she thought he was? What was he talking about? Where him and Zack serious when they said they could have been serial killers? But that theory went out the door as he said he wasn't what she was. But what could he have possibly meant by that? Last she checked he was a living, breathing, human being. And not a girl...But she stopped with her thoughts for a moment, listening to him once more. The lying thing she knew about, she had taken a good guess that on most occasions he had been with her. She didn't know what about but she did know that some of the things he had said were less then truthful. It had just been a feeling she had and it looked like she was right. But it was the next thing he said that blew her mind completely.

Vampire. He was a vampire? A preternatural being, commonly believed to be a reanimated corpse, that was said to suck the blood of sleeping persons at night. That kind of vampire? There was no way...well no, she couldn't say that actually. That explained why he was never warm, why every time she touched him he seemed so cold. Why his wound was healing faster then she thought possible. But that would also explain that odd feeling she got from him. The feeling she couldn't explain, the reason she felt so odd around him. When she thought about it it wasn't that hard to believe actually. The next thing...well yeah, that was hard to believe. The lover part she could believe, and liked actually, but the part about him being her killer? She didn't like that so much. If that was the case though that could explain why she had such a hard time trusting men. Having a persons lover kill them probably could put a damper on how well a person trusted others. How easily a person could trust others.

As much as she didn't want to she felt like she should have been crying right now. Thing was she wasn't sure what had upset her more, the fact that he had killed her, or well who she use to be, or the fact that he might not love her as she was today. Yeah the second thing was probably hurt the most...After all, it could be a little stressful being in a relationship where you couldn't even be sure if you were loved as much as you could have been. The fact that you were being compared to some one you weren't, not anymore anyway. She didn't mind the lying thing, after all, he had a valid reason to. Though she did wish he had told her she was the reincarnation of some one he knew, he could have left out loved, that would have helped her figure out the odd feelings she had been having for him these past few days and she would have had more time to digest it.

Taking a moment to think the girl let out a sigh, looking up at him. It wasn't until now that she realize the fact that there was a bit of a pain in her hips from when he was holding her. Hopefully it wouldn't last for to long. " This is one of those things.." she murmured her hands crossing over her stomach, her eyes looking down at her legs. " I don't doubt you, its something to take in but I don't doubt you. It would help explain a few things actually. And if anything I just hope you realize that I can't be anyone other then the me I am right now. If you don't think you can care for me that way then I'd rather not have you care of me at all. But I'd be really happy if you could at least try."

Vincent was pleased that there was no screams. Whatsoever. He was glad she wasn't freaking out about it either. That is a ton of stuff to take in all at one time. The feeling that Vincent was getting was very relieved, he didn't know why? Was it because he could finally tell someone who he was? Not be so secretive about it anymore? Well, atleast not with one person. If there was one thing that he'd have to do was apologize, it would be to the female standing in front of him, yes. The apology wouldn't be to her though, it'd be to the person who she is exactly like. "I will." He replied softly, "I will care for the person you are right now. There is just something I need to do." Pausing for a second, "I do not want an answer from you, I just need to get it out with." Removing his hands from her cheeks, the male placed them down on the rail, resting at her sides. "I want to apologize, Victoria." The male began, "What I did long ago has haunted me since I did it. There was part of me that didn't want to do it, just so if I died, I could've been with you." Hanging his head some so he didn't have to make eye contact while he spoke.

"I was asked by those who watched me to kill you because they found out about what I wanted." Pushing himself up, the male removed his hands from the railing before taking a step back. "I wanted to change you. Change you to what I am so we could live together forever. Sail the world together.. see the changes together. I didn't and I am sorry. I've regretted not doing it since the day I killed you and I'd much rather have died with you then did what I did." Taking a quick breath, "I just wanted to apologize. Its killed me since the day I did, I just wanted to make things right. Tell you why I did it so I don't have to feel this burden anymore." And with that the male grew quiet. Vincent had found the connection to his past Victoria in this new one. The only thing now was he hoped for forgiveness. He'd be able to feel it, she wouldn't be able to say it anyways.

Stepping back closer to Aaliyah, Vincent lifted his head some to make eye contact. Quickly moving back between her legs, the male pushed his lips against her's. Holding the kiss for a few seconds, Vincent pulled off slowly. "Hello, I am Vincent. I am a vampire and I will always protect you." Giving her a smile before giving her one more small kiss. "I will care for you. And not for the old you.. this you." Vincent spoke, running his index finger across her cheek. "Will that be good for you?" He asked softly, feeling an urge to place a kiss on her lips. Which he did. "Hey, Vinc..." Zack spoke as he opened the door, quickly shutting up when he noticed what he was doing. "I will leave you two alone.. you both look like you're about to get at it." The male joked, Vincent breaking off the kiss to let out a laugh. "No, no. Please, stay. You should meet Victoria."

The three talked for about twenty minutes. Zack telling his side of the story, how he knew Vincent, how they met. Then they met the old Victoria. "Alright, well, I will back off a bit on the perversion for you, Aaliyah because you are now Vincent's. So, I need to get back to the party. The host is too busy." Zack teased as he waved good bye before walking back into the apartment. Vincent smiled, for once he left good and Zack could tell. "And that is the story behind us three." Nodding softly, "I know this is a lot of take in, given what all happened tonight." The male spoke from across the balcony. Zack had pretty much separated the two for dramatic purposes to tell some of his story. Vincent really didn't move after he was moved from her the first time. "How are you?" He asked, he wasn't asking about how she felt but how she was taking everything. It was a crazy night, she now knew that she and her friends were hanging out with weird company and if she told anything, she wouldn't see another day.

Ok so this was all a little on the weird side and yet she was more then happy about it. In the past ten, possibly a little less, minutes she had learned a couple of things. One, she was apparently the reincarnation of a woman who had lived hundreds of years ago that was a pirate. That was kinda awesome though. Two, this woman was Vincents lover. Three, he had killed her, though she wasn't quite sure why yet. And last but not least there was reason number four, he was a vampire. It was a little odd knowing that but she was ok with it. Nothing she could do about it after all. She wasn't quite sure what part of all that surprised her more. Probably the fact that he was now her boyfriend...Which was something neither of them had said but she assumed it. Or at least she wanted to assume it. " That's all I want you to do honestly..." As long as he cared about the person that she was now she would be happy. After all, she couldn't be Victoria. Or at the very least she couldn't be the Victoria that she was before, it was impossible. And if he couldn't accept that then well to bad, he'd have to try.

The girl fixed herself back on the railing again, watching and listening to him. He was apologizing for something that happened who knows how long ago. She really couldn't believe it. Not that it was a bad thing. Oh no, not at all. She was just a little surprised by it. After all, what man apologized for something he did hundreds of years ago? Well apparently Vincent did and it made her happy, really happy. It showed her that he knew his actions weren't alright and it was killing him on the inside because of it. It was nice to know that a man actually had emotions, feelings. She liked men with feelings. She liked him. Aaliyah was pretty sure if she wasn't who she was right now well she'd forgive him. Hell, anyone would have to forgive him for an apology like that. But it was while he was apologizing he explained his story, which helped her further understand a lot of things. Well at the very least he didn't kill her because he wanted to, that was a relief. And he genuinely cared for her it seemed, enough that he held the burden up until now and continued to love her through all these years. Even now that she had the same body but was a completely different person.

Did he have to do that? Seriously, if he was going to kiss her she wanted him to kiss her. Not give her short little pecks. She couldn't help but to chuckle a bit at his introduction and his words. " Hi, I'm Victoria, or Aaliyah your choice, human, and completely and totally happy with that. And I'll do my best to make you happy." She smiled, as she felt his lips against hers once more, kissing him back this time, her hands reaching up to hold him once more. She couldn't recall the last time a kiss made her feel this good. Actually, she had never had a kiss make her feel this good. But of course Zack would walk in. Instead of walking in and doing something that would annoy the two of them he actually stopped talking mid sentence. That was kinda nice. She didn't really enjoy it when Vincent pulled away from her though. But she could deal with it for the time being.

When Zack spoke she listened, same as she did with Vincent. So now the odd feeling that she had between the two had been explained. And she was glad to hear that Zack would lay off his perverted ways a bit. That was truly the best thing she had heard all night. " Yes is a lot to take in. I'm apparently some one else, or I was anyway and you're a vampire. Zack's a vampire to but thats not as important to me.." she hopped out of her spot, making her way over to the male. " But how am I? I should be freaked out, worried, scared, and maybe a little hectic right about now. Any other girl probably would be." she wrapped her arms around the males neck, reaching up to give him a quick peck on the lips. " But I'm actually pretty good. Informed, satisfied, a little weirded out, but over all I'm good. " She'd probably wake up tomorrow morning and think this was some sort of dream. After all it was a bit to good to be true.

Vincent nodded his head as she spoke, agreeing with how she should be feeling. His hands moving to her hips, "I didn't hurt you, did I? I know I was squeezing a bit too rough. Just assumed you'd run away screaming 'Monster!', so, I wanted to stop you if you tried." The male laughed some afterword, the possibility of that happening was slim but it could still happen. "The weirded out feeling will go away. After a while, it'll just be like normal." The male spoke, smiling at her. "Its just feels weird because you know that I'm not one of your race so its like, 'How is this possible?' and yes, I understand if you need space." Vincent spoke, placing a small peck on her lips. "Yes, you have to figure. You went through a lot today, I'm rather pleased you haven't questioned mine or your sanity." Vincent paused, "I mean, look. You come to a party with a friend, invited by a stalker-seeming person. Watch a man get cut. Find out that man and his friend are vampires and that man who was cut has a deep running affection for you. That is a lot of crazies that you are dealing with." Giving her a smile, "Just wait til the morning, sleep on it and it won't seem as crazy. Or just make not much sense at all."

The two stood there for a few minutes, not really saying anything. The male didn't know what else to say, if there was anything. Plus, the quiet seemed relaxing for the time being. The noise coming from the apartment was barely audible out on the balcony. Moving his hands from her hips, Vincent placed them on the railing. Pushing himself up onto the rail before her arms slipped from around his neck. "So, what do you want to do tomorrow?" The male asked softly, "I assumed we'd see each other tomorrow if that was fine with you. Figured I could take you sight seeing, by myself. If you were up for it." Vincent spoke, rubbing the back of his head softly. "I'm sure Zack won't come around tomorrow, just because he'll probably think we'll be busy doing lame and boring stuff." Smiling softly, that lame and boring stuff was their connection. Their one interest. Art and its many forms.

Vincent had laid back down on the rail, opposite side this time but with Aaliyah sitting in the chair beside him. They were staring out onto Paris while the party began to wind down and people started to leave. "You tired?" Vincent asked, breaking a long silence between the two. "I'll go ahead and let you go back to your hotel if you were tired. I don't think anyone is here, Emily included. Zack probably talked to her and lead her back to the hotel or his place.. again." Scratching his chin softly before swinging his legs off the railing so his feet could touch the ground. Leaning forward, Vincent stretched some. Laying in that awkward position didn't feel all that good once he stood up straight. Opening the glass door, Vincent peeked in. No loud music.. yep, everyone was gone and his apartment a horribly disaster. "Well, maybe not on that sight seeing stuff tomorrow. Looks like I have some work to do around here." Vincent spoke, picking up the few plastic cups and beer cans he could hold in both hands.

"Um, lets see. Wow... 3a.m already?" Vincent spoke as he walked into the kitchen, "Well, I can walk you back to your apartment or you can stay here for the night. Either choice is fine with me. I'll be there to protect you if anything bad does happen." Vincent said as he tossed what he had in the garbage. "This is a big reason why I don't have parties, no one ever cleans up after themselves." He spoke softly to himself, wasn't really meant for the female to reply to but if she did then she did. "Can you open that door to the balcony? I need to let some of this nasty smelling air out." Six to seven hour parties sucked. Everyone crunched together in a medium sized apartment meant barely any cool air and a ton of sweat because of it. In a way, the party wasn't really that bad. He told Aaliyah the truth about everything, so, it had its ups and downs. Wiping his hands off on his pants, Vincent walked into the living room. "You come to a decision? I'll gladly walk you back to your apartment if thats what you want."

Well yeah, he hurt her, but it was nothing to bad that she would complain about. As long as it didn't bruise she would be ok. As for the entire screaming monster thing and questing their sanity well it was a little weird that she hadn't done that. After all, it wasn't like she had encounters with the supernatural every day. It would have been kinda cool if she did but that wasn't the case. The closest she got to anything magical or non human was when she was in some of the cemeteries or when she visited a couple of special shops in New Orleans. That was about it. As for the entire sanity thing well...she still didn't know what was up with that. If it was any other person in her situation they probably would have ran out screaming awhile ago, getting as far away from Vincent as possible, and curled up into a corner trying to tell themselves everything would be ok and that they weren't crazy. Yet she did none of that. Maybe because she already knew something was odd about him in the first place? That could have had something to do with it. Or maybe because she had done this before, met him before. Though she was finding that a little weird, but that would take awhile to get use to.

If it wasn't for the fact that he was on that rail she would have probably hugged him when he said the words sight seeing. That was the only thing she had wanted to do the entire time she was in Paris! With the multiple failed attempt she had at doing so she thought she was never going to get the chance. Not with Emily any way. If she did everything Emily wanted to do well she would be eating a lot more then she had been already and then working it all off at some kind of club or party. Not that it was a problem but it just wasn't the type of thing Aaliyah was in to. Unless she was drunk, but then she was into a lot of things that she normally wouldn't do. "Sight seeing would be wonderful seeing how I'm into said lame and boring stuff."

" Nope, not sleepy at all." The girl was actually wide awake, with no chances of going to sleep in sight. She was much to excited, or maybe shocked would have been a better word. Either way one of those two things was keeping her up right now and probably would continue to do so for the next couple of hours. Standing up the girl stretched out, grabbing her purse from beside the chair as Vincent offered to take her back to the hotel. Well if there was a possibility that Zack and Emily were there the last thing she wanted to do was interrupt anything. She had done that once before during one of Emily's one night stands. It was weird then and it would probably be weird now if she did it. Not only that but she'd rather not feel the need to go wash her eyes out. " I'll think on that one..." If anything she could always go stay with someone else for the night. Of course, that was if they were in their apartments. If not she could have been screwed.

Following the male inside a low whistle could be heard from her as she saw his apartment. Wow...It really was an amazing sight. Not only that but how late it was. It feel like three in the morning. Heck, she didn't think it was anywhere past midnight yet. Opening the door as asked she shook her head a bit, it looked like a tornado had gone though here. " How about this," she started, placing her bag on the couch and taking a few cups in her hand. " To lower the risk of me not seeing anything I don't want to see I'd much rather stay here tonight and crash on the couch. But if you let me do that I'm going to help you clean up in return. It would be cruel and unusual punishment to let a you clean this up on your own." Getting on her knees the girl proceeded to grab a few more beer bottles and cups from off the floor before putting them in the trash can. Once the smell of alcohol made its way out of here she probably would end up going right to sleep but in the mean time she would make herself useful.

Vincent shrugged softly, "It wouldn't be the first nor the last time I would've had to clean up something that wasn't my mess." The male replied, scratching his head for a second. How exactly did this apartment get this bad? Was there that many people? Shaking his head softly, Vincent was only glad there was nothing broken. "Plus, on the bright side. Nothing is broken, so, I don't have to clean up glass or anything of mine." Or the male hoped, he hadn't went into his room but from what he could see, the door was still closed. "And you don't have to clean anything. You have no obligation to help do anything." Kneeling down to pick up a few bottles, moving into the kitchen. The male placed the bottles on the island that separated the dining room from the kitchen. "But, if you must help. Just round up all the bottles and place them on the island. I will clean up everything in the morning, just planned to get the major stuff up off the floor and get the apartment smelling better."

"Um, and, no. I'd feel more comfortable if you slept on the bed in my room. I rarely use it, so, its way more comfortable than that of the couch." Nodding softly as he walked back into the living room, "Plus, its usually where I sleep as of late." Giving her a smile, the male wouldn't allow her to sleep on the couch if she was staying the night. Vincent would not let Aaliyah sleep on his couch, just wasn't right. "I think it'd be more appropriate for you to sleep in a bed and myself to sleep on the couch. Wouldn't want you to have a bad night's worth of sleep and be cranky in the morning. Probably wouldn't go so well with sightseeing." Vincent added, explaining his reasoning. Vincent wasn't much of a sleeper, he could go days on end without needing sleep. The male would only sleep when he had company, so, people didn't begin to wonder.

Even though Vincent had said she really didn't need to help much, she did anyways. The two got most of the living room cleaned within a short period of time just by him discussing where she'd sleep. If it gets done quicker, then, he won't tell her not to help. Not like it will take him all day tomorrow, he'd only have to gather everything up in trash bags then take them down to the dumpster. That would be the only long part, the messed made will probably fill eight to nine trash bags. "This'll be the last time I let Zack throw a party here." The male murmured, walking into the kitchen to wash off his hands. Turning on the faucet, letting the water run over his hands before applying soap. Turning off the water, the male dried off his hands off on the towel near the sink.

Walking back into the living, Vincent took a few looks around the apartment to see if there was anything he had missed. So far so good. With the friends Zack had, other then himself, if they could find a place to set something down, they would. Shrugging softly, he'd look thoroughly tomorrow. Taking a seat on the couch, Vincent inhaled heavily. The smell of alcohol and sweat had gone away, thankfully. Now that brought his attention to the female. Standing up quickly, the male walked toward his room slowly. "Let me clear off the bed. I haven't slept in there for a while so my clothes and other things are spread across the bed." Scratching his head softly, he had books on his bed along with a few drawings. Other then that, it should be simple to clean. Flipping the light on, Vincent squinted slightly. The lights were brighter in this room then most, really didn't know why either. His bedroom was basic; bed, a few dressers, closet then a desk. The desk was usually were he sat to draw in pen or pencil, which rarely happened lately. Vincent liked to use paints over pens and pencils.

Walking to his bed, the male grabbed the few pieces of clothing from the bed. Tossing them near the desk before reaching down for the books. Placing all the books on the desk, the male had started reading a few books at the same time. "That looks like about everything. Its rarely been used, if at all, in the past month. I like the couch, oddly." Shrugging softly before a nod, "But yes, just let me know when you are going to bed so I don't walk in while you are sleeping." Turning to the female to give her a smile, "And, yes, there is a bathroom if you just take a left. So, if you get up in the middle of the night, there is a bathroom in this room so you don't have to go out." Stepping out of the room, the male moved back to the couch. What was he thinking at the moment? What exactly she referred to 'them' as. Was it a couple thing or just an odd way of them liking each other. Looking over to the female, the male patted the seat next to him. If she wasn't going to head to bed, it'd be nice to have some company as he watched the television.

"I plan to watch some T.V, did you want to join me? As long as you aren't tired, of course." Vincent asked, turning on the television as he looked over to the female. The male just planned to just flip the channels until he found something to watch. A movie seemed to be really good right now, just what movie he wanted to watch. Thus, the flipping of the channels.

Thing was she really didn't want to sleep on the bed. Or actually she didn't want to go to sleep in his bed. That would be just a little weird. After all it wasn't every day that she went and slept in a guys , who she had only known for a little while, bed. So normally she just crashed on the floor or on the couch. That or she started on the couch an ended up on the floor some how (she was normally rolled or pushed by a friend). But if he normally slept on the couch well she wouldn't take that away from him. That would be just a little rude. " Alright I'll sleep in your room. And I guess being cranky would be a little bad." Though truth be told she had slept on some pretty uncomfortable things in her life time so a couch probably wouldn't have been that bad. That and as long as she was able to shower in the morning she wouldn't get cranky.

Ok so she was a little hard headed...But she wasn't going to sit and let him pick everything up while she just sat on the couch. That wasn't being a very good guest. Besides she would have felt really bad if she sat around and did nothing. Her mom had always told her to be of help if she could so Aaliyah always went by that. So cleaning up wasn't much of a problem for her. "Maybe next time you could try to stop a disaster before its starts." If that was even possible. She was pretty sure Vincent had no idea this one was going to take place and had no warning about it. While he washed his hands she took the time to make sure everything had been picked up off the floor or thrown in the trash.

" Alrighty, take you're time." While he went to go prepare his room she closed the balcony door, making sure nothing else was still lying out and about. So far everything looked good. Now if she could just get this know out of her stomach, then everything would be really nice. But what could she possibly do? Today, or well today and yesterday, had been really odd for her. Oddity aside she now had a boy friend, or a lover, or something! She wasn't quite sure what she was suppose to call Vincent, what their exact relationship was. Not only that but she felt as if she had expectations to live up to from her former self. That was a little ridiculous seeing how she didn't know how she acted in the past but she couldn't help but to feel like she had expectations to live up to and she didn't like it. But that was all in her head so she needed to work it out on her own and fast. And to top it all off she was staying the night here in Vincent's apartment. It wasn't as if they were having sex or doing anything wrong but it still felt really weird to her. Hopefully she would get over that pretty soon to.

the girl followed him though, watching and listening as he pointed things out to her. The bathroom would probably be the bathroom was the most important to her at the moment seeing how she wanted to change out of this skirt and into something more comfortable. Shoving her hands into the pockets of her skirt she watched as he patted the seat beside him on the couch, smiling a bit. " I'll be there in a minute ok? Just let me get out of these clothes first." With that she made her way into the bathroom, shutting the door gently behind her. Searching through her bag she pulled out an over sized 'I Love Paris' t-shirt from her bag, a little something Emily had picked up for her at the air port gift shot, and removed her clothes, putting the big thing on. It more or less at her alive and looked like a medium sized dress on her, coming a little past her hips. A little bit of her legs were showing but not to the point where it was to much, or to much in her opinion anyway. Shoving her clothes back into her bag she walked out, placing her purse beside his bed before plopping down on the couch next to him.

" Anything interesting on?" She asked as she grabbed a pillow, her arms wrapping around the soft thing as she leaned against him a little bit. She wasn't really sure if this was ok or not but would only move if he said something about it. This entire relationship thing was really going to put a strain and she could tell that now. After all, she wasn't entirely sure what to do and what not to do. If she did that would have made this a lot easier.

Vincent shook his head no for the time being at her question, "Not that I can find. That is the television though. All these channels, never anything on. Been that way since it came out, too." The male replied, feeling a slight shift if pressure on his left arm. Turning his head to see what it was, the male smiled. Moving his left arm out slowly, Vincent pulled her closer to him. Letting her lean more into his torso then his arm, "How you were would make my arm fall asleep. I hate when it happens, usually feels dead like when you cut off circulation in your arm." The male spoke, looking down at her to give her a smile. His arm laid across the back of the couch as her head rest near his chest and shoulder. "There was a few movies... old movies. Gladiator, with Russell Crowe. Pitch Black, with Vin Disel. Fast and the Furious, again with Vin Disel. That is about it, I think. Nothing else really catching my eye." He spoke softly, the movie channels he got weren't all that good. "I was more interested in Gladiator, but, if anything that catches your eye. Just let me know or snatch the remote and flip it on. I don't care what we watch, just as long as its something."

The male continued to flip through the channel guide, waiting to see if anything sparked her interest. Pressing a few number keys, the male put on Gladiator. There wasn't much coming from the female so he just assumed she didn't see anything. "Just let me know if you saw something and want me to put it on. I don't want to force you into watching this movie." Vincent spoke, "Here, better yet. You take the remote." He spoke as he placed the remote in between her torso and the pillow. There was little temptation to just lay her down the couch and kiss down her body but the male argued against that. One of those things that fell into, 'Not quite something to do when this is just a new relationship.' If you could call it that. Which gave him a good question to ask her whenever he found the moment appropriate enough. Not just something you can be like, 'Oh, hey, are we dating or you just staying over because you don't want to walk in on people having sex?' That is just not something you should say... to anyone, at all.

The movie wasn't changed, it was now a good thirty minutes into it. Getting toward the good parts of the movie, or what Vincent believed to be so. "Aaliyah." The male spoke, breaking a small silence in between them. "I was curious.." Pausing for a second, "Will you be my significant other?" He asked softly, not really sure how to put it. Significant other seemed more what he'd say instead of seeming like a lost and confused teenage boy asking a girl to be his girlfriend. "Girlfriend.. lover.. anything that will fit into significant other." Shaking his head softly, "Again, I apologize.. I'm just not good at doing this kind of stuff.." Vincent spoke, his tone going low as he stared at the movie. Turning his head to see and hear what she had to say. He hoped, with all he has told her, she'd say yes. Just didn't know for sure. It could be one of those, 'Well, even though you've told me all this.. I think its just best if we are friends.' type of things. Vincent over thought everything, even something as little as what to wear. He was just like that, thinking about what could and the what ifs instead of just going with the flow.

Vincent felt a deeper pressure on his left side, the male only assumed that she was trying to get comfortable so he never thought about what she was actually doing it. It came to be almost four in the morning when he began to think what exactly was happening. It seemed that it get heavy, slip some, go to normal then get heavy again, slip some then go back to normal. Just kept repeating, the male looked down after about ten minutes of this continued act to find her dozing off. She'd feel her head starting to slip off his shoulder to the point where she almost fell right over then bring it back up quickly. Of course, Vincent thought it was cute. Removing the remote from the side of him, where it had fallen after she let go of it. Vincent clicked the power button, picking up the female slowly after do so. Walking into the bedroom with the female in his arms, Vincent pushed the door open with his foot slowly, trying not to creak it so it woke her. Laying her down slowly, the male quickly pulled the covers over her body so she didn't get cold. Seeing she was only wearing her shirt and underwear. Leaning over, the male brushed some of the hair from her face before placing a kiss on the side of her temple. Feeling the hand of the male reach for his, "Good night.. sleep well." He mumbled to her slowly as her grip faded. Watching her shift into a deeper sleep before placing another on her forehead.

With that, the morning came relatively quickly. Vincent didn't sleep so he had ample amount of time to start cooking breakfast. Which would be served around eleven in the afternoon since she didn't go to bed til rather late so having her wake up early wouldn't be a wise choice. "And hopefully there isn't too much.." The male mumbled to himself, he had cooked french toast, eggs and sausage. The male would eat some, but definitely not all of it. Looking left, the male saw Aaliyah stumble of the room sleepily. "Well, good morning. Hope you are hungry. Got some breakfast over here for you." The male smiled as he placed some of the freshly cooked food on a plate. "Grape juice or Orange juice? Or possibly coffee?"

Well, if anything that would probably be the one thing that was the same no matter where a person went. Tons and tons of channels, but there was never anything on to watch. It had been that way when she visited California, Italy, and Venice. Not like she was expecting it to change here. She could feel her face turn a slight red as he pulled her closer to her, not at all minding it. " It's ok..." She brought her hands to rest in between her legs, fingers twiddling lightly with one another. To be honest she didn't really care what they watched. Sitting like this here with him was enough for her. She was oddly content. Any other time she might not have been, like when they were in the restaurant, but for now she was. She had often been told that complete silence was a bit odd when you were with some one. But she didn't mind, at least for now anyway. Then again it was almost four in the morning, chances of her wanting to hold an actual conversation were very slim.

Aaliyah wasn't entirely sure when it happened exactly but one moment she was awake and the next she had dozed off into a light sleep. She could still hear the sounds of the movie but they were soft and distant, barely, if at all, registering. The question he asked would reach her ears but like the movie they were watching would really register with her. If anything the most she actually heard were the word will, significant, other, and girl. That aside she didn't hear anything else. She did feel her body being lifted off the couch and into his arms though. Her eyes opened for just a moment, looking around and then up, her head returning to his chest soon after, her hand clutching onto his shirt. If she had realized she was so tired earlier she would have probably headed off to be earlier instead of falling asleep like some kind of fool. Not like she'd remember most of this come morning though. Feeling her body being laid down on a softer surface her legs were immediately pressed to her chest, one hand wrapped around them and the other holding on lightly to his wrist. Even though she didn't admit it to herself she did want some kind of company which could explain why she wanted him to stay. But when he pulled away she let go, her other arm wrapping around her legs as well.

Like usual the girls dreams were blank and nonexistent, or at least that's what she expected. Instead they were filled with images, bits and pieces of things. One was of a little girl that looked like her but it wasn't her, there wasn't a star shaped birthmark on her chest. Victoria maybe? Or well the previous Victoria seeing how she was Victoria. But there was her as a small child, smiling and happy. The next image was of the girl a little older, screaming her lungs out and being dragged out of a building. The last image, the one that caused her to wake up from her her slumber was a image of the woman, a little older, a knife in hand and blood splattered on her face. She didn't look freaked out, scared, terrified, worried, she looked oddly content, and if anything pleased with what she had done. A little scary.

Opening her eyes the girl looked around, frowning a bit. Where was she exactly? It wasn't her dorm, there wasn't an extra bed, it wasn't her other dorm back at home, the other bed was still missing, and she wasn't at her parents house, the room was to small. " What the hell did I do last night?" Lifting up the covers she pulled her shirt up a bit. Ok so her underwear were still on. It may have seemed silly, or weird actually, but when she was out with Emily she had to check to make sure she had on clothes still. Why? She didn't want to think about the reason why. Still made her twitch. Pushing the covers back from her body she stood up, looking around one more time. She was at Vincents apartment! Yeah, now she remembered. She had stayed the night because she didn't want to walk in on Emily and Zack having sex...If they were having sex. Hopefully they didn't. It wasn't often that Emily had a once night stand twice with the same person. Actually it had never happened before. She was just worried it would end badly for Emily.

Making her way out of the room she was greeted by the smell of food. Well that was something rare. Even though her sense of smell should have woken her up completely it didn't. She still walked into a wall as soon as she got out of the room. Yeah..."Ow..." she murmured, rubbing her head as she walked into the kitchen, smiling at the sight of food and Vincent's question. " Grape juice please. Me and coffee have never really got along." she hated the stuff with a passion. Her mom use to leave it out when she was little and she'd accidentally drink it. That could have something to do with her dislike of the stuff. Thinking about last night she pieced some stuff together, like words..." Oh yeah," Walking over to the male she reached up,placing a kiss on his on cheek. " I wouldn't mind being your girl friend. Significant other is nice but it sounds like you're my husband or something." And that wasn't something she wanted to think about at the moment. Though her mother probably would have loved nothing more then to throw a wedding for the girl. That would probably be awhile though.

Vincent was relieved that she didn't say she would like coffee. The male barely had any left, he didn't use it but Zack was too lazy to buy his own coffee maker so he came over here and used Vincent's. Turning to the strainer, the male took out a glass. Picking up the gallon of grape juice, pouring the juice slowly until it was three-fourths full. "Yeah, I'm not a coffee drinker myself." The male spoke in reply, "I'd prefer water or juice. Coffee just doesn't taste good nor wake me up." Taking a sip of his orange juice, the male nodded in reply to her significant other talk. "Indeed." Looking over to give her a small smile, "Surprised you could even remember that. You were, from what it looked like, dead asleep last night." The male grabbed a plate next; placing two slices of french toast, a small serving of eggs on the opposite side, then three sausages. Sliding it over to her, the male turned around to open the refrigerator. Taking out the syrup momentarily after, turning back around to face her. Vincent placed the syrup bottle down on the island. "Enjoy. That is as long as you do eat in the morning. I won't take offense if you don't eat." The male spoke softly, giving her a smile before grabbing a few slices of toast for himself.

What hoped to be a peaceful breakfast was turned foul within a few seconds. Thud. Vincent let out a hard sigh, Not know.. The male thought to himself, "Hey, Vin. Place smells gooooodddd." Zack chimed throughout the house, his face with a board smile until he turned to face the kitchen. "Oh. I didn't know.." The male spoke, walking into the kitchen. Grabbing himself a plate before digging into the food. "Well, good morning to you too, Zack. So kind of you to just drop in." The male spoke in a dull tone, "Hey. Don't get snappy with me. Its eleven in the afternoon. You should've had breakfast hours ago." The male teased back, "What do you want?" Vincent replied, "Well. I wanted to see if you wanted to go do something, but, it seems like you already did that last night." Zack spoke, laughing softly. "Ah, yeah.. no. Not at all funny. People have sleeping habits, bud." Zack shaking his head, "You should rock the bed one time. It'll make.. the both of you.. less tense." And with that, Vincent picked up the other male's plate. Dumping it right into the garbage, "And you can leave now." The male spoke, turning him around to push him toward the door. "What did I do?" "Don't give me that shit." Vincent replied before pushing him out the door.

Vincent scratched his head some, "That was rude of him." The male spoke, "I honestly didn't think he'd show his face around here until later tonight. I completely understand if you want to leave." Scratching at his chin slightly before moving back to his plate. Ripping off a piece of the bread before shoving it into his mouth. The morning was going decent until Zack showed up, really no awkward moments until just then. "I think Emily might have shut him out last night.. maybe thats why he's so antsy this morning." The male spoke, laughing at the thought of Zack being denied for once. Giving it a quick shrug, the male looked up to the female. "Well, if you do plan to stick around. I said we would go sight seeing today, and that is what we shall do. You tell me where you want to go, and that is where we will go." Nodding his head softly. There was a few places that might interest her with all the art stuff they had in Paris. "We can go out to see a few places, come back for lunch then caught a show." The male spoke, shrugging softly. He wasn't great at this whole planning stuff. It had been a very long time since he had actually done anything with him and a female. Back then, it wasn't as complex as it was now.

Vincent placed his plate into the sink, placing the leftovers together on a separate plate. Placing that plate into the refrigerator, "Zack will come over and chow that stuff down with little hesitation." Vincent spoke after shutting the door, turning to face Aaliyah. "Well, how about we get dressed then decide on where to go?" The male asked softly, "Unless you are too full to do any walking around now." Stretching some, the male turned to head to his room. "I'm gonna get changed. You decide on what we do then tell me when I get out." Vincent spoke over his shoulder before walking toward his room. Shutting the door quickly, the male pulled out a white button up shirt with a pair of black pants. Removing his shirt from the day before, Vincent grabbed a tanktop from his desk. Pulling the gray cloth over his torso before sliding into the shirt. Pushing down his pants to his ankles, the male stepped out then quickly into the new pair. His clothes seemingly stayed between white, gray, and black. He rarely, if ever, went out of those colors. Bland was something he was into, couldn't ever be bright and colorful. Opening a drawer, Vincent pulled out a pair of socks to go along with his black shoes. He would've taken a shower but didn't want to take that long.

Stepping out shortly after, the male was all dressed. Shirt, pants, shoes all on. Picking up the thin layered jacket from the back of the couch, the male quickly put that on. "So, decide on anything yet? We can go out another time if you don't feel like it." Growing quiet, she could've wanted to go to these places with her friends. "Or possibly go with your friends. Either is fine with me."

Well she couldn't argue with that, she was pretty tired last night once they cleaned up a bit. " That makes you and me both. To be honest last night I heard you but not everything you said. Only bits and pieces. None of it made since until I thought about it a few minutes ago." If she hadn't attempted to put it together it wouldn't have gotten answered until later that day maybe. If that had happened it might have been a little weird for him to try and ask the question again. He didn't sound all that comfortable earlier when he asked it. Then again she was no where near being fully awake so he could have sounded completely confident about his question and she wouldn't have had a clue. "But thank you. And yep, I eat in the mornings so don't worry about that." Not like she really had a choice growing up. It was sit and eat or sit and watch her parents eat as they told her really long, really boring stories about the weirdest things. One can only imagine what she picked. Grabbing the syrup she poured a little bit over her sausage before picking up and taking a bite. Mmm..tasty.

It was as she was eating that she wondered how exactly this was suppose to work out. And by this she meant the relationship between herself and Vincent. He wasn't human and she was. While he would continue to live until the end of time, unless something happened and hopefully it didn't, she wouldn't. The amount of time she had to live was a lot shorter then his, a lot shorter then his. Then there was the fact that in a couple more weeks she would have to move back to America to start school back up again while he stayed here in Paris. She knew for a fact that there was no way in hell she could move over here, it was out of the question. He might move to America for her but she would have hated for him to do that. Last thing she wanted was for a person to uproot themselves for her. She wasn't that important. To him maybe but she wasn't entirely sure of that. Over all this relationship was probably going to have a lot of ups and downs. Every relationship did but theirs...theirs would have more so then usual and probably a lot lower downs then most. There was always the option of him turning her to make things easier but...that was a scary thought. No longer being human, out living everyone she cared about, she didn't think she could handle that. Then there was the chance that they would get bored with one another over the centuries, falling in and out of love. That wouldn't have been so great...

Hearing a small thud the girl looked up to see Zack in the living room. She probably she have felt a little awkward that she was standing here in nothing but a shirt and some underwear but lucky the counter was covering her. If not for that well, she would have been really embarrassed. Taking a bite of her french toast after saying a quick and low good morning to the other male. Of course she almost choked though when he said what they should do. Did Zack like playing match maker and then making sure the couples had sex shortly after they got together, or even before hand? It was just a little disturbing. But if she had to take a guess she would say the male only wanted her and Vincent to...enjoy each others company, so Vincent could lighten up a bit. Same reason Emily and her own mother wanted her to get a boyfriend. Not that she didn't love the two but it was simply ridiculous reasoning.

She watched as Vincent threw him back, holding back a laugh in the process. " It's ok, I'm kinda getting use to him." In her opinion Zack was like a new baby sibling, it was something that had to grow on you over time. But that would probably take awhile...Nah, as long as he didn't hit on her she would probably get use to him within the next couple of days. " Try to understand this ok," she finished off her second piece of french toast, licking her hips and looking over at him, " I'm not going to leave you all because some one made me feel a little awkward. I'm here with you until you say otherwise or I feel like I've outgrown my welcome." Which would probably be tonight, if she had to take a guess that is. As for what she wanted to do today...That would require a little thought. She wanted to go sight seeing as long as he was fine with it. Quite honestly they could have sat in here on the couch and said nothing to one another all day long as she still would have been fine. She was content with him despite the fact she had only recently met him, but not like she minded that.

Watching him go to change she washed off her plate and what ever else was on the sink or stove, might as well. Placing the wet dishes on the rack she turned around as he came back out, thinking about his question a bit. " My friends are probably hung over from last night or something. Love them but they are party people and thats not really me." And she was pretty sure he was happy about that. " But how about we head back to my apartment so I can check on Emily and change into some clothes? By then I should have it figured out what I wanna do today. But if nothing pops in my head we can always just walk around. Anything is good honestly."

Zack took a while to get used to. His perverted upbeat sense of humor was, at most times, very uncalled for. Being for the better, the sooner you got used to Zack was the sooner you got to understand why he is like that all the time. Being centuries upon centuries years old does take its toll, its just his way of keeping happy with being immortal. Vincent wasn't fond of Zack's idea of being happy. He liked to party, flirt, drink, mingle with women... just to do it again the next night. It was repetitive but Vincent would interfere with how Zack ran his personal life because it wasn't affecting Vincent's. If Vincent and Aaliyah become sexually involved, which was a possibility depending on when they talked about it, and Zack start giving him tips about that sort of thing. Vincent would tell him to back off and stay out of what he was doing. Of course, that wouldn't happen because the male would still feel obligated to 'make him better in bed' since he's the god of all gods at sex.

Vincent nodded softly, "That is fine with me." He replied softly, scratching at his eyebrow before looking around the apartment. He had cleaned up everything else from the mess last night while she slept. The male rarely slept so he had nothing better to do. "I'm sure you plan to put on what you were wearing last night, correct?" He asked, smiling softly. "I'm sure you'd draw a lot of unwanted attention if you went out in just a shirt and underwear." Letting out a small laugh before shaking his head. Of course she did, the male was just pointing out the obvious. First to her hotel so she can change then to wherever she decided next. The day would prove to be fun as long as Zack kept a seemingly far distant from the two. Who knows what else he'll say if they meet today. Vincent hoped for Zack to not show up, but, knowing his tendencies. His visits are usually four to five hour apart from the last. So, Vincent's rough estimate of Zack's next visit will be around three to four in the afternoon.

Vincent had watched the female walk past toward his room about ten minutes or so ago. To get changed of course. Stretching slightly, Vincent took a peek at the clock. Hearing the door creak open, the male turned his head. Smiling softly, "Ready to head to your hotel now?" He asked, walking toward the door. "Ladies first." He spoke, opening the door for Aaliyah. Grabbing his keys off of the drawer that ran along the wall near the entrance. Locking the door, the male turned to face her. "Alright. I figure at about two, we'll stop to get a something small." The male spoke, assuming that they would walk around Paris after she changed. Unless they went back to his place, then he'd cook them dinner around five. After Zack's second visit, just so he didn't interrupt dinner between the two of them. "Unless, you want to come back to my place for dinner. Cheaper then eating something on the go and probably taste better." Letting out a small laugh before pressing the down button to the elevator.

The two quickly stepped out of the elevator, just before a group of people piled in. Opening the door once more for the female, Vincent stepped out quickly. "Alright, off to your place. Then to wherever." He spoke quickly, beginning to walk by her side. His hand moving from his side into her's, looking over to her, giving her a small smile.

" Yeah, unless theres a city wide pajama party going on thats the last think I would want to do." She had been to one of those once, but instead of being city wide is was just campus wide. It was a bit weird because she was walking around in nothing but a well fitted tank top and her underwear. It was getting closer to summer and the hotter it got the less she wore. Had always been that way, even as a child. " But yeah...I'm going to go change into the clothes I wore yesterday and then we can go back to the apartment. If you don't mind I wanna take ten minutes to take a shower once we get there." Her hair had the slight smell of alcohol to it and she wanted it out. That and it would probably wake her up a bit more so she didn't walk into anyone, any walls, or anything else for that matter.

Planting a quick kiss on the males cheek she made her way into his bed room, changing into her clothes from yesterday. Normally at this point in a relationship she didn't like kissing that much, or at all actually. But with Vincent well...It was kinda weird to say but she actually like kissing Vincent. May it have been his cheeks or his lips. Either way she felt really content doing it. Removing her nightshirt she slipped on the skirt and top she had on yesterday, shoving her over sized t-shirt into her bag. Making sure she had everything she took a hair tie from her bag, putting the long locks into a pony tail. Now question was, what did she do with her shoes? Making up the bed she removed his things from the floor and placed them where they had previously been before making her way out, tapping her finger lightly against her chin. "What did I..." she stopped for a minute, looking at the balcony door. That's right, she had left them out there. "Just give me a quick second." Quickly making her way outside she slipped on her shoes before making her way back inside, shutting and locking the door behind her.

"Now I'm ready." With that she made her way to the door, saying a quick thank you as he opened it for her, listening to his plants for the day. She didn't have any objections, not that she could anyway. Well, she could, it was just that she didn't have a reason to. Except for one little thing that is. "Coming back here for dinner would be nice. But if you don't mind I'd rather make it seeing how you cooked breakfast. Would invite you back to my apartment but we don't have a stove." Which made it really hard to make pancakes in the morning, or anything for that matter. And going out every day and night wasn't something she enjoyed. She liked eating the food she made and eating out only on occasion. And even when she ate out she tried not to eat that much. Not that she was a health freak or anything but she found the taste of eating something you made was always better then the taste of something someone else made without any feeling in it at all.

She could feel a small bit of red come across her cheeks as she felt his hand, a small smile coming to her lips. She could kiss him without a problem but she blushed when they got close any other way? Yeah, that sounded right. It didn't take that long to get to her apartment building though, which made her kinda happy. She wanted to get out of these clothes and start her afternoon with Vincent as soon as possible. She wanted to take the elevator upstairs but it looked like that wasn't happening. Looks like it was the steps again. "We'll have to take the stairs unfortunately. It's not that long of a walk though." Making sure she was holding on tightly to his hand Aaliyah made her way past the large crowd of people waiting for the elevator and to the back stair well, opening the door and walking inside the cool place. It was places like this that always creeped her out though. Like something was just waiting to jump out of the shadows. Shaking that thought out of her head she started up the steps.

It took about seven minutes total for them to get to the right floor. Opening up the door and walking into the hall way she removed her room key, opening up the first door to the right and stepping inside. To her surprise she saw Emily asleep on the bed. She wasn't expecting that. "Ok," she started, placing her bag on one of the spare chairs. "I'm going to go take a quick shower and be right back." She let go of his hand, making her way to the closet to grab her things before taking a quick shower. True to her words she was out in ten minutes, her hair soaking wet but she was clean and that's all that mattered. Drying herself off she threw on the pair of tight blue jeans, a light blue tank top, and a pair of heels to match. Attempting to dry off her hair she walked out of the bath room, looking over at him. "Ready when you are."

The male peered around a bit, checking out the minor scenery of the hotel. The room itself wasn't really that big, probably well enough size for two girls but really not many more could fit in there. The male shook his head softly when he heard the female begin to speak, spacing out there for a moment. "Then we shall be off. I'm not quite sure where you wanted to go, but, I figured we'd just walk around and just find somewhere to hop into and take a look around. There's a few museums near by that have a decent art selection. Nothing much, the better museums are deeper into Paris. We are toward the outside, so, there are only smaller ones here. They all are still good, just more modern painters then historical ones." Shrugging softly, the male hadn't stepped foot into a museum in ages, he just thought it was over-inflating a painter's ego to be put up in a museum.. well, the ones who are alive. Dead painters have no ego. Thats how every painter should be, what you might think is good might be terrible to the next person. Shaking his head lightly, Vincent prevented himself from going on a inward rant about painting and the stuff he finds stupid about museums. "Off we go.

Vincent followed behind the female, opening and holding the doors the went through for her. He was a gentleman from the get-go. Couldn't break it even if he did try to. "I will say if we do plan to go into a museum that I haven't been in one for a very long time and its possible that everything has changed. So, my modern quite possibly be your historical.. so to speak." Vincent stated as he pushed the button for the elevator. "And there is one museum that I'm not allowed to ever step foot in. Such things happen when you know Zack." That was a interesting story to tell. Zack blatantly stole a painting because he wanted to burn it for a fire then proceeded to blame someone else for it. Ah yes, how video cameras work. He was in jail for roughly twenty minutes before he was out again. "That is a story for another time." He spoke softly as he held his hand over the elevator door so it wouldn't close before he got inside. "Also, you look beautiful might I say. I should've said something sooner but I proceeded to go on about our plans again." Quickly scratching the side of his face before letting out a minor laugh. Stepping out of the elevator, into the crowd, Vincent placed his hand on the female's shoulder. "Excuse us." Vincent repeated a few times he guided her through the crowd. Moving to her side, the male slid his hand down into her's. "And off to somewhere. The joys of simply wandering around." The male spoke, giving her a smile as he led her out of the hotel.

The two had walked for a while before stopping here and there, just so Vincent could point out something. Usually something that was recently put up over the course of the past two years then what was there before that. Its something he picked up because he's been around so long. You grow accustomed to seeing something there day in, day out that its weird to see something else. "I think after the last big storm, that building collapsed. I'm not really sure, I was out of town at that point. I came back to Zack freaking out that my building would be next since it was going down in a row." Vincent spoke, laughing softly. "If you think he doesn't freak out because of his nature.. you should see. He's a different person when something crazy is going down." Shrugging softly, "I had a few good laughs when I proved him wrong. I had the best week of my life, too. He didn't show up for a week. It was heaven." Vincent chuckled once more. Shaking his head slightly. "What about you? I've been talking this entire time.. I don't want to make you feel that you can't get a word in." The male spoke, pausing for a moment waiting to see if she came up with anything to talk about.

Though, it was rather quiet. Seemed that she was enjoying him speak. If so, then he wouldn't just let her down. "What are you here for? I know its for college and art, but.. doesn't seem like your friends were the art type. Was it just a funded trip from the college or something?" Vincent asked cautiously, he didn't want to speak on some bad ground with assuming her friends weren't into art. Scratching his eyebrow slightly with his free hand. At the very moment, they were wandering aimlessly. He knew they'd walk to a museum at one point or another, just at this very time... it wasn't likely.

Vincent and Aaliyah arrived at a museum about an hour after they left the hotel that the female was staying at. The two just walked and talked, surprisingly. Vincent wasn't much of a talker. He just felt more alive when he was around Aaliyah, like there was so much to talk about in such little time. Which was true. She would be leaving to go back to the States in a month or two. The male never asked when they did plan to go back.. or if they were still going to be together when she did. Who would've thought that they would've been together now? Just random, he guessed. "This museum hasn't been around for that long, a lot of the paintings in here look to be copies of the original, thats if you ask me." He mumbled to her softly. "Did you want to leave? The male asked softly, "Just doesn't feel right being here. I'm getting the feeling something bad is going to happen.. and really quickly."

Her modern day might have been his historical? Just how long had it been since he had stepped foot into a museum anyway? Actually she didn't want to know, last thing she wanted was another surprise. But the mentioning of him not being able to go into a certain museum surprised her a bit. Well, a lot actually. what she wasn't surprised to hear was the fact that it was Zack's fault. She couldn't help but to wonder why Zack wanted to burn the picture in the first place. Of course there were a few pictures that Aaliyah didn't like but never enough to want to burn any of them...Ah well, that was probably something she wouldn't find out until later because she was interested in hearing about it. Shoving her hands into her pockets she walked with him, a small blush on her face as he commented about her looks. "Thanks." she murmured, her attention temporarily going to the ground as they walked. She really needed to stop getting embarrassed so easily. If anything that would probably make the relationship a bit uncomfortable. Odd might have been the right word but their relationship was already odd. After all it wasn't every day that she got to be a vampires lover. She held on closely to him as they walked through the elevator crowd. This was why she preferred to take the stairs, she hated being crushed in between masses people. So once they made their way outside she was a lot happier.

Well that was true in a way and then it wasn't true. Her friends did enjoy art, yes, just not as much as she did. It was more like their own dirty little secret while she was glad to openly express her love for the subject. Despite the fact it was something they kept to themselves they were actually very good at acting. With the way they acted off stage though it would have been a little hard to tell. "I'm here for the art and the over all experience. My friends on the other hand...well they are probably here for the partying. Don't get me wrong, they do like the arts but they are more so acting people then looking at dead peoples paintings or look at some sort of land mark. And if they aren't acting well then...they aren't really doing anything but partying, sleeping, their homework, or shopping." Which was true, a little sad but true. She loved her friends but they weren't very deep at all. They were party animals more then anything else.

Aaliyah was more then happy to talk on the way to the museum which was rare. Normally when ever she was on a date she didn't get to say anything because the guy was talking to much or didn't say anything at all because it was just an awkward experience for her and who ever she was going out with. But with Vincent she felt like it was alright to talk and she was actually comfortable, and that was always a plus. Her mother did always tell her that talking was important in a relationship, it allowed people to say what they were thinking and feeling about different things. The best part was it never had to be serious, like now for example. To her art was more of a fun subject then a serious one. At times anyway, but now was one of those times. A serious conversation would be then talking about exactly what would happen between the two of them when she went back home. But that...that wasn't a conversation she didn't want to have anytime soon. For now she just wanted to enjoy herself.

The girl wasn't one for modern art, which could have been why she wasn't to impressed with anything she saw. She didn't hate the style, it just wasn't her favorite...or anywhere near it. "I'm just fine with that honestly." With that she turned on her heels to walk out the door but felt something grab her hand. Turning around she saw Mary and Lindsey. There was no way in the world they would be here out of their own free will which meant a few others from their school had to be here. "Hey Ali." "Hey girls, what are you doing here?" "Being bored to tears..." she should have figured as much actually. "Can we talk to you for a minute?" Mary asked, looking at Aaliyah then Vincent. "Um sure..." she looked up at the male, her hands going behind her back, "Sorry about this. But I'll meet you outside in a minute ok?" She barely had time to get the last word out before she was dragged back near the rest rooms. Just want did they want to talk about anyway?

"Soo..." Mary started taking a seat on one of the benches outside of the rest room. "So what?" "So how was your night last night?" Why were they asking that. "Fine I guess. Why?" "Did you do anything?" "Anything like what?" "Anything fun?" "Like what?" she repeated. Lindsey let out a sigh, shaking her head. " Did you sleep with Vincent or not?" She could feel her face turn red at Lindsey's question, what in the world?! "Liz told us last night that you spent the night at his place. So did anything happen." "No! I helped him clean up then feel sleep." "On what?" "The couch and then woke up in his bed later on but still, I did not sleep with him." She would never understand why her friends wanted her to have sex. Was it really that amazing? "Why not? If you like him you should." "Sex doesn't show how much you like a person. It's just releasing a persons sexual desires and I have none." Ok so that wasn't completely true. She had a little, little, little bit but not enough to actually act on. "If you say so. Either way we got you this," Liza removed a wrapped box from her bag, putting it in Aaliyah's. "Open it later but try to get some use out of it soon ok?" With that Aaliyah gave their friends a quick hug before dowalking outside to find Vincent, "Sorry about that," she said once she found him, her hands buried in her pockets bit of red in her cheeks. "This is probably a weird question but does Zack bother you about sleeping with me when I'm not around or is that something he does when we're together to make us both feel odd?" She was just a little curious, "You don't have to answer but my friends have been doing it to me these past few days and it's really embarrassing, annoying, or just plain weird..."

Vincent shook his head no, "Oh no, please. Don't apologize." The male replied softly as he turned to face her. Listening to what she had to say next made him laugh slightly. "You know. Prior to you, he just bugged about it anyways." Vincent paused for a second. "Since we've met.. he's poked and prodded about that more often then not. Usually when you are in the room, but, there has been times where he's brought it up without you being around." Giving her a light shrug, "So, to answer your question; yes, he has mentioned that I should sleep with you." Vincent let out a minor laugh, shaking his head softly. "But, no, its not a weird question. Friends and family will pester someone they love about that type of stuff because of many reasons. Friends... just because they can. Family.." Vincent paused for a second, "Parents, actually, wish to just become grandparents." Scratching underneath his eye some. The male didn't know what she wanted.. or if it'd last for something like that. Though, it wouldn't be the same if she wanted to bare a child.

Scratching the top of his head for a second, "Was.. that something you wanted?" He asked quietly, motioning his head for her to follow him down the sidewalk. Slipping his hand into her's, pulling her softly to walk with him. "I mean.. the talk about that would be bound to come up sooner or later. Would be better if we got it out of the way, no?" The male asked, rhetorically. Vincent didn't know quite where to start though. Wasn't that easy for someone like himself, 'Well, here. I'm a vampire, we have sex. You'll be pregnant within three days. Within those three days, your body will die and you will become one of us.' And blah, blah, blah. Just not that easy to break down to anyone.. even if the person is willing to be in a relationship with a vampire. Vincent lead her down a sidewalk, turning left to a less crowded street. "See, I'm a vampire like you already know.. so, this type of talk for a relationship just adds more.. tension, I guess, toward this type of thing." Pausing for a moment.

"Myself, I haven't done it in ages.. I have no clue if there is ways to prevent such a thing like a vampire pregnancy.. especially in a human." The male spoke softly, just so no one would hear the conversation meant toward this female. "Zack.. as you can tell, has many one night stands and has yet to find a child... or even a human turned vampire from this such activity." Scratching his chin softly, "He's told me just to use condoms, but, I'm still not really sure about them." Vincent tapped his chin for a second, "Its just the whole vampire and a female human having sex." Pausing for a moment. "Even when I was having relations with Victoria... the idea of turning another to what I am is something that shouldn't be decided." Shrugging softly, "Its just one of those things that shouldn't happen because of something natural." Let out a light sigh.

"From my standpoint.. being the vampire in this relationship," The male paused, turning his head to look at her.. giving her a joking smile. "I think its more of when you feel ready.. then we will try it." Nodding at her softly, "Sound good?" The male asked, "I will not pressure you into it either. Once you feel that its the right time to attempt it, then, we shall. Until then, it'll be how it is now. Silence, holding hands, light kisses and all that other little stuff." Smiling at her softly, Vincent wasn't really big on the whole sex idea. Maybe it'd grow on him, maybe not. The male wasn't Vincent, he could control his hormones. Didn't need to hump anything with breasts and a butt. The two had walked around some apartment complex as she listened to him say what he needed to say about the topic at hand.

"Well, you sat here and listened to me.. what is your take on it?" Vincent asked, looking down at her for a moment before turning his head upward. "Say whatever is on your mind about the subject. I want to hear what you think so I know where you are coming from. Pretty sure this isn't any easy on you either." Vincent spoke as he led her around another corner, "Being the girlfriend to a vampire.. something a female gets to say everyday. Kind of just a shocker. Tough to believe, isn't it?"

She could understand all of that, especially the family part. If nothing else her mother wanted her to have grandchildren as soon as possible. Her father on the other hand told her to wait as long as possible, and that she didn't have to have children if she didn't want to. But that was probably the over protective father speaking that didn't want to see his daughter growing up at all. As for Emily well...the girl had pestered Aaliyah a lot about having sex and that was when ever she wasn't in a relationship, and long before they were really good friends. When she was in a relationship however well the girl just kept hinting more and more, unless she didn't like the guy. If Emily didn't like who ever Ali was dating then she did her best to try and get the two of them separated as quickly as possible and had no shame about it. And most of, if not all of the time, the concerned friend always got her way. It was kinda, actually very, scary.

Was it something that she wanted? Well, yeah...Half of her family being Italian she had grown up around a big, a really, really, really big family and always wanted one of her own. Did that mean she wanted a thousand kids? No, never. Only two or three and that was it, no more and no less. Being an only child wasn't very fun and that she knew from personal experience. She had always wanted a brother or a sister but her mother got into an accident shortly after Aaliyah turned five which completely and totally killed the idea. Stupid drunk drivers...Despite the fact that it was really bad experience it taught her two things. One, to always protect her tummy and two, never be out to late on Burbon Street. She had followed the second rule for the majority of her life though and that was never going to change. "Well it is something I wanted, no right away mind you but still..." She had no qualms about waiting to have children at all.

So far being the girlfriend to a vampire wasn't bad, then again they had been in the relationship for less then twenty-four hours. "Not as hard to believe as you might think. At least not for me anyway. It'll still take a little while to get use to but not that long, hopefully." Reaching up Aaliyah kissed her lovers cheek, smiling a bit. "Doing things when when we're both ready sounds good and so does silence, holding hands, and light kisses. But I do like other types of kisses to so keep that in mind." Like that deep kiss he gave her really early this morning, that she enjoyed a lot. She wasn't entirely sure if that was a bad thing or not but she did feel a little perverted about liking a certain type of kiss. But maybe she shouldn't have.

Covering up her mouth the girl let out a small yawn, her other hand going to her hair to hold it as she felt a strong wind go by. Well that was weird. What was even weirder was the fact that she felt something grip her side all of a sudden, her body being moved back about five feet, and the feeling of fingers running through her hair, a voice saying "Aw, she's as cute as Zack says..." Looking up she noticed a tall Asian man that wasn't there ten seconds ago. He was cute but at the same time she couldn't help but to wonder why he was holding her so closely. Then again she did just hear the word Zack and that pretty much painted the entire mental picture for but she wanted to know two things first. "Umm...Who are you and what are you doing exactly?"

"I guess that would have been important to say before grabbing you..." letting go of the girl the man shoved his hands into the pockets of his blue jeans, a cheery smile gracing his lips. "But I'm Jaden, or at least thats what you can call me. As for what I'm doing well now I'm introducing myself and saying sorry for grabbing you, I can get a little huggy with new people." It was a little weird from a vampire to be 'huggy' but Jaden was, he was also much more relaxed and carefree then the typical vampire. But it was those things that caused so many people to get along with him and come to trust him. The two most well known people, or at least the people he got alone with most, were Zack and Rebecca. Now normally he didn't like to bother people while they were doing something or barge in uninvited ((which was a little odd seeing how thats all this two best friends did )) but he was here for two reasons; 1. He thought Zack was lying when he said Vincent had a girlfriend so wanted to see it himself. 2. His female vampire friend was curious to, but unlike Jaden, didn't believe in waiting and sent Jaden out to check immediately, not really giving him a choice in the matter.

Taking a hold of Vincent's hand again she looked at the other male, he seemed reasonably...tamed for one of Zack's friends. Compared to what she had seen earlier anyway. "It's alright, just warn a person next time ok?" " Got it, though I doubt it'll happen again anytime soon." Which was true enough, he didn't hug people to often, only girls and only people he had just met. "On and even though this is a bit off topic Rebecca says hi Vincent..." There was a lot more to that message but nothing that should have been said with his girlfriend around.

Feeling the female's grip slide from his hand made Vincent stop dead in his tracks. If someone was trying to take her from him, well... that'd be something they wouldn't want to do. "How about you..." Vincent spoke, tone growing agitated quickly before his words cut out. Jaden. Rebecca's lapdog. Wasn't the thing he liked to be consider but it was true. He'd run her errands for her within a heartbeat, only because she'd force him to. Jaden wasn't the one who was being controlled by her. She just had a mean temper along with violent traits. Anything dealing with Vincent, she'd bark orders at Jaden to figure out what was actually going on. Zack was friends with all of them, which they all knew he could tell a fib like no other. "Well, I see Zack has gotten his word spread to you all. Doesn't surprise me. The male doesn't know when to keep his lips from not moving." The male spoke, the last sentence being more muttered then anything. Shaking his head softly, the male's eyes slowly moved from ground up to the other male who had stepped back from Aaliyah.

"Zack will say anything is cute, Jaden. You should know this. If I recall, he always wanted Rebecca." Letting out a small, light sigh. "Then Rebecca wanted to freak out and go crazy..." Which, of course, lead to other things. Mainly her practically harming every female who came within contact of Vincent. Her obsession with the male is beyond that of a stalker. Random times of the night, she'd show up and lay herself with Vincent. Just pure weirdness. He'd wake up with the female cuddling with him, which then would move to him jumping from the bed and forcing her out of his apartment. Rebecca was completely crazy about the male and Vincent had no feelings whatsoever for her. Vincent cleared his throat, "Um. Yeah. Tell her that I say Hello..." The male spoke, his sentence lingering off his tongue before he turned to Aaliyah.

Moving his right hand to the female's back, the male pulled her close to him, making her stand on her tip-toes before moving his head down. Placing a firm, deep kiss on the female's lips. The male continued to pull her closer, pushing the kiss a tad bit deeper. He never knew, she could like playing tonsil hockey. Pulling back slowly, the male placed another kiss after it. His lips locking with her bottom lip, holding onto that kiss for a few more seconds before letting go. Eyes opening up to see she hadn't opened her's as he lower her back down flat footed. Turning his head slightly, Vincent wanted to see if Jaden still stood there in hopes of him getting the message to send back to Rebecca. Though, what she might do could be very, very drastic. Vincent watched Jaden turn around slowly, his eyes peering off to the side. He knew what was to happen when he was to tell Rebecca.

Looking down to the female, Vincent gave her a smile before turning back forward to continue their walk. "If you didn't know already, that was one of Zack's friends." Nodding softly, "He usually doesn't come out without Rebecca... but, it was good that he did." Vincent knew she'd go crazy during the kiss and attempt harm Aaliyah, which would've lead to Vincent putting Rebecca in her place... once and for all. The male just didn't know how'd she react with Jaden telling her about the kiss. "Now, I know you probably are wondering who she is." Clearing his throat for a moment, "Jaden there is her lapdog, pretty much. He's always grabby when he first meets someone, for whatever reason. Just is." Pausing for a moment to look over his shoulder to make sure he was further down the street. "Rebecca is just plain weird. I warn you of her, right now." The male's hand moving into the female's, holding it securely. "She's crazy. Rebecca is beyond stalker for me. I've woke up to her sleeping next to me or staring down at me while I sleep. I warn you because she has violent tendencies." Vincent paused for a second, "She's threw items, hit, and threatened Zack on numerous occasions when she talks about me around him. Jaden will return to her and tell her about the kiss. I just want you to keep your senses alert."

Vincent had continued walking, waiting for her to speak before he would say what he wanted to next. "Now, I know thats hard to take in... but, I want you to call me at anytime that you feel awkward if you are with your friends. She is a vampire, so, she doesn't need to be near you to see you or smell you. If you feel that something is wrong, I want you to call me and I'll be right there to protect you." Vincent spoke softly, he knew what she was capable of doing but to what extent, he didn't know. Removing his phone from his pocket, Vincent flipped it open. "Put this number in your phone. 301-797-5994. Only you and Zack know that number, try not to let anyone get it. I don't like a lot of people knowing my number." Sighing softly, "You will be fine, I will always be here to protect you. Just call when you feel something is wrong."

Well that was true, Zack did say a lot of things were cute, but at the very least he was normally right, just like this time. When it came to the entire Rebecca thing well...he wasn't entirely sure. If he had to look at it from the perspective of other men then he would say that Rebecca was attractive in her own way...But he saw her as more of the crazy older sister he never wanted-had anyway-was sometimes actually caring-and always tried to look out for him kinda way. They had known each other for a long long time, and the fact that she took care of him right after he was turned probably had something to do with his loyalty to the girl, if not everything. Without her well...he didn't want to think of what might have happened to him, or to the people around him. Neither would have been good, he knew that much.

"I'll tell her that but..." The male blinked, watching as the smaller girl was lifted up a bit and kissed. It was more then obvious that she was surprised at her lovers actions but she wasn't the only one. Jaden thought he would have died before seeing Vincent kiss a girl....ok well he thought that about the girl friend thing to. It was obvious that he was suppose to relay that message though, and he would, not like he had a choice. If anything he could only hope that Aaliyah would be ok after this. He had a feeling that it would probably drive Vincent insane if anything happened to the girl. Letting out a small sigh the male shook his head, his attention turning elsewhere for the moment. Oh this wasn't going to be good. "Good luck you guys..." the male murmured, his hands going into his pockets before he left just as quickly as he came.

At first Aaliyah really didn't hear what the male had said until her said Zack's name, she was still pretty much dazed if nothing else. "Yeah, kinda figured that..." Her hands going behind her back she listened as the male spoke, deciding that what ever he had to say she'd let him get it all out before asking any questions. Good thing for her he pretty much answered all of her questions. Though, it didn't make her feel to much better about anything. After all, no girl friend could feel comfortable knowing that her boy friend had a crazy stalker. Not only that but she was a crazy, violent stalker, joy. Well this relationship just kept getting weirder and weirder. Ah well, not like she minded, nothing happened yet, and hopefully nothing would happen. After all, how bad could the girl really be? Well...pretty bad if she went into Vincent's room at night to lay with him. That was pretty creepy..

"It's not really hard to take in, its just a little....unbelievable, that's all. I've had a boy friend with a stalker once but she wasn't that bad..." Of course the girl did try to slit her throat once but...Ok yeah, she was just that bad. "Never mind that, but I will be on my guard ok?" Looks like she had one more thing to do this summer; watch out for her life. Pleasant. Removing her cell phone from her purse she put Vincent's number in it, making sure to save it and put it on speed dial. "I'll won't give it to anyone else, I promise." Not that she had any reason to anyway, it would be weird if she did. Checking the time on her phone she shoved the thing back into her pocket, looking up at the male. "What do you want for lunch by the way? Figured I ask now so I know if I need to get anything while we're out. Or do you have no preference and are going to let me go wild in your kitchen?"

And as expected Jaden did go to Rebecca right after leaving Vincent. Well, not right after, he paced back and forth a bit thinking of ways to calm Rebecca down after he told her but came up with nothing. So now here he was, standing in the center of a living room in some large over priced house on the outskirts of Paris. In front of him a brunette female lay outstretched on an all white couch, her clothing nonexistent with the exception of the silk red robe she wore on her body. If anything she looked rather bored. "So, is it true?" The woman sat up, a pout on her full lips already. "Well..." he started, his hands fiddling with the belt holes of his jeans a bit. "Well is it?!" she snapped, temper showing already. "Yes. But honestly Rebecca I don't see how its any of your business. Vincent can see who ever he wants and the girl is nice enough. I don't know why you just don't drop it already." "Because," standing up the woman fastened the belt on her robe a bit more before walking over to the male, leaning against him lightly. "Vincent is mine, he doesn't realize that just yet but he is. So what there's a little road bump in the way. I'll just have to get rid of her," "Rebecca please, don't do anything drastic," "Like what?" "I dunno, just nothing that..." he sighed, not quite sure how to word it. "Involves her ending up dead." "I'll try little brother, no promises though." Patting the Jaden's cheek the woman grinned, making her way upstairs and into her room, shutting and locking the door behind her. "Sorry Jaden but I can't let a whore do what ever she wants when I'm not around my man." Removing her robe the girl walked into the bathroom, cutting on the hot water for a shower. There was no way in hell she was going to let some little slut spend time with Vincent, it was out of the question.

Vincent laughed softly, the male had no preference on anything to eat. It wasn't necessary for him to eat what food humans did, the reason he did was to fit in and not draw unneeded suspicion to him and his friends. Well, friend. Zack was the only friend Vincent had and that was the way the male wanted it to be for good. The two had a long running history, just didn't seem important to get out and seek other vampires to converse with. Especially when he is friends with Zack, his drop-ins are enough to drive people mad and he's Vincent's only friend. Never know what could happen if Zack and Vincent shared the same friends. Vincent would go crazy with all the times Zack brought over guests uninvited. "Of course not. I don't mind you go crazy in my kitchen. I rarely use it and I know you'll clean up whatever mess you make, unlike Zack. So, of course, you can make whatever you want." Nodding softly, Vincent guided the female across the street. Picking up speed some since it was nearing rush hour and rather didn't enjoy being hit by a car.

The walk back to the male's apartment was quiet. Vincent was quiet because he was simply trying to think of all the possibilities that this female vampire could do to cause harm to Aaliyah. Something that Vincent didn't ever want to happen, even with them just starting a relationship twenty-four hours ago. The male knew what the female was capable of doing, its just when or how she'd do it was what worried Vincent. He didn't show his worry in his face, it was mainly cool and collected but his brain rattled with thoughts of what the female could possibly do to his girlfriend. Rebecca was a nut job. She'd do anything and everything in her power to keep someone away from Vincent, or to even be with Vincent. Countless times Vincent has told her 'No' or 'Not ever'. The girl simply can't take no for an answer. Zack even tried getting with her to keep her off of Vincent, she wasn't having any of it. Something about saving herself for Vincent... along with many rambles about that Vincent will realize that they are meant to be and all this other junk. Classic case of a psycho. Unfortunately, this psycho was stronger, faster, and more ruthless then a normal human being. Vincent only could imagine the countless of possibilities that she'd attempt to do to get Aaliyah out of the way.

Pushing the door open to his apartment, the male let the female walk in first before shutting the door behind him. "Have anything in mind that you plan to make or was it a surprise?" Vincent asked softly, though it echoed through the front room. "There should be enough food in the pantry and refrigerator to make anything." He spoke with a shrug. Just depended on what she wanted to make, he guessed. He rarely had to stock up because he didn't eat much but did stock up when the expiration dates neared. No one likes rotten food, not even vampires. "One thing I do know is that whatever you do make." Vincent spoke as he followed her into the kitchen, moving around the island to a bar stool, taking a seat slowly before propping his elbows upon the island. "Make extra. By the time, if you like to make sure everything is just right and take longer then needed to make; like myself. You should make more because Zack will be over and no matter what. He'll eat anything if it smells good." Vincent spoke, letting out a small chuckle.

Thud. "Speak of the devil..." Vincent muttered, the balcony doors creaking open before the sound of footsteps vibrating through the floorboards. The steps drew closer and closer to the kitchen, "Ah, you are home, Vin. Was just out looking for you." Zack spoke, leaning up against the wall as he looked into the kitchen. Something was out of place. Vincent could tell he wasn't acting himself, his upbeat attitude wasn't showing itself. "Everything alright?" Vincent asked the male, his eyes narrowing as he waited for an answer. "I ran into Jaden like a little bit ago." Zack paused, "Guess he's out looking for Rebecca... from what he said. She went upstairs to change, he waited around for about half hour then walked up to find her no where in their home." Scratching his chin slightly, "You haven't seen her, have you?" Vincent let out a small huff, "No. I haven't but I should thank you... along with Aaliyah. You truly said the right things to the right person, Zack." "Hey man. I thought she was over it." Vincent shook his head, "Over it? Someone like her can't simply be over it." "I'm sorry. What else do you want me to say?" Shaking his head softly, the male opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out. He didn't know what he expected of Zack, "It wasn't like I meant to do it. I just assumed that she was done with wanting you... I should've thought more. I apologize." Zack grew quiet, head sinking down some.

Well, now it was awkward. All three of them were in the kitchen with complete and total silence for once. No flirting, no rude sex jokes. Nothing. Not a word. "You know Jad is never going to find her, right?" Vincent spoke, breaking the silence. "Yeah. I know." Shaking his head softly, "Better go and look. I'm not the one who started this, your big mouth got her into all of this so go help Jaden." Vincent spoke softly, "Will do. I'll let you know if I find anything." Vincent watched from the corner of his eye as Zack turned around to leave. The balcony doors crept shut before a thud. Vincent let out a small sigh, "Where do you want to stay?" He asked, looking up to Aaliyah. "I want to know now if you want me to walk you home later or if you plan to stay here. I'm fine with you staying since it'll allow me to keep an eye on you and keep you from harm." Scratching his chin softly before letting out another small sigh. He didn't know. Everything wasn't supposed to happen like this. Rebecca wasn't supposed to happen. Zack should've kept his mouth shut or it wouldn't be like this.

"Umm...." What did she want to make, she wasn't entirely sure. "I'll tell you that when I actually figure it out..." The girl removed her shoes as she entered the apartment, placing them by the door before heading into the kitchen, placing her bag on the island. Just what did she want to make anyway? Looking in the pantry she removed a bag of rice and some honey, tapping her finger as she looked around for what else she might actually want. "Ok so make a lot, got it." Opening up the refrigerator she looked around for a few things, carrots, onions, multiple sauces, and steak being removed. Now that she thought about it just how much was she going to eat? She was still a little full from breakfast so it wouldn't be that much but by the time she actually started making things that might have changed. If it wasn't a little obvious the girl wasn't at all worried about Rebecca. Should she have been though? Ah, she'd think about that later.

"Hm?" Aaliyah lifted her head as she heard a thud from the balcony, followed by sound of doors opening. Well, looks like Zack was here but something was off. That she could tell as soon as he walked into the kitchen. He didn't say anything perverted or weird as soon as he walked through the door. Now she hadn't known him for that long but to her that was abnormal behavior. "Hi Zack." she said, grabbing a cutting board from one of the drawers and a steak knife from the rack. Washing her hands she listened as the two males spoke, turning around to open the meat and place it on the cutting board. Well this conversation went down hill fast. "Vincent..don't..." but that didn't get out in time enough. In reality she didn't really blame Zack for anything. He honestly didn't think it was a problem so just spoke what was on his mind, there was no fault in that. Or at least, not to her. Was Rebecca really that much of a threat? Great...just great. Seemed like she would have to start carrying pepper spray or something in her purse. Letting out a sigh the girl began to cut the meat into semi-thick slices, followed by the vegetables.

Despite the fact that the atmosphere wasn't the greatest the girl continued cooking dinner, starting the rice and putting the meat and things into a separate pan. For the most part she had completely zoned out of the conversation and into her own little world, not wanting to hear anything else. It wasn't until she heard the door shut that she snapped out of it, hearing Vincent's question. "I'll think on that honestly." Washing off the dishes she used she placed them on the rack, drying her hands behind walking over to the male. "I can appreciate the fact that you care about me so much," she took a seat beside him, kissing his cheek, " But I think that you were a bit to hard on Zack. I could be wrong but it seems just a little on the mean side to scold someone when they don't know any better. That could just be my way of thinking though." Zack didn't know any better so he shouldn't have been scolded. But Vincent was worried about her, which could have been the reason for the unneeded comments.

Hearing her phone ring Aaliyah stood up, grabbing it out of her back pocket. "Hello?" "Hey Ali, you ok? You didn't call last night or this morning so I got a little worried." She hadn't called today now that she thought about it. "Yeah I'm fine Emily, what's up?" "Angela's a bit upset," "About what?" Angela was another girl in the group, her and Aaliyah weren't close but still..."Well...." she started, and about twenty minutes later the story was only mid way though. Even while she was on the phone she continued with dinner, making sure nothing burned and everything was added when it was suppose to be. Basic story was she just broke up with her boyfriend because he was cheating on her with one of her other friends. Screwed up and wrong but that was life. That wasn't something she would say to the girl though. "So you want me to come over and help comfort her?" "Yeah pretty much, you're the best one at it." She couldn't deny that. "Alright, I'll be by there later on ok? Just let me finish up here." "Where are you at?" "Umm..." "You're at Vincent's house aren't you!" "Yeah.." she murmured, a light blush on her cheeks and she added a bit more honey to the food. "Anything serious happen?" "No, I'm not sleeping with him and I haven't done so yet." "You will just wait." "See you later Emily." "Bye Ali." Handing up the phone Aaliyah shoved the thing into her back pocket, stirring up the food a bit more. "Should be ready in a little while...That and I'm going to need you to take me back to my apartment tonight."

It probably took another ten minutes before the food was finished but it did get done. Taking down two bowls the girl filled them both with rice and then topped it with the meat and vegetables. "So tell me..." she started, grabbing a set of forks. " Do you really think Rebecca is going to be a big problem? I mean from what you guys are saying about her makes me feel like I should be worried but I'm really not..." At least she was honest about it. She had yet to see why she should really fear this woman. This could have been both a good and a bad thing, hopefully it was a bit of both.

"Now all I have to do is wait..." Rebecca let out a sigh as she hung up the phone in the apartment, laying back against Aaliyah's bed. Even though Jaden hadn't meant to he had given her Aaliyah's scent. But she wouldn't tell him that, it would probably only hurt him more after she killed the girl. Sure she hadn't slept with Vincent but she was still in his house with him right now. And that was a no no.

Vincent nodded his head in reply to her wanting to go home. Whatever happened over the phone seemed rather important, so, he'd let her take care of her business. "Well, yes, you should be really worried. Rebecca wasn't a violent person when she was human, but, once she was turned into a vampire. It went the wrong way and fast." Standing up to pick up a plate from the dryer, moving to the food that was finished. "Smells amazing, by the way." Vincent spoke as he moved past her to the food. "The male who turned her had abandoned her. Usually when one is being turned, the one who is does it has to stay so the newly turned vampire can decipher that they aren't normal." He continued, pausing to put some of the food she cooked on his plate. Placing the plate down on the island, the male slid it slowly over to his seat. "Well, Rebecca was left alone after she was turned. She was meant to be just fed on and left to die but the vampire who fed off her didn't realize they stayed on for too long." Scratching his cheek for a moment, "Well, when Zack and I found Rebecca. She was pretending to be a human. Scared for her life, her skin grew pale. She didn't know what happened, only knew that she wasn't normal." Shrugging softly, "Well, she went to one of those homeless shelters. One of the bums came in with a deep cut on his hand, her new senses picked up on the cut and she began to crave it." Vincent stopped talking to shove a fork full of food into his mouth. Swallowing quickly so he could continue speaking. "Zack and I followed her, luckily in time before she could feed on the man's cut and expose herself along with the possibilities of vampires living in Paris."

Vincent continued with the story, more of what exactly happened to the female. "Soon. She became deeply attracted to me. She'd claim she was meant to be turned so she could be with me and I was the one who changed her." Pushing his empty plate infront of him, the story had pretty much taken up the whole conversation between them over lunch. "She'd then show up out of no where, pleading with me to... um..." He spoke, pausing for a moment. Didn't quite know how he should put it to his girlfriend. "Sleep with her so our 'love' could be connected for once and for all. For whatever reason, the female forced the presence of me being her lover into her system and swears that I am no one else but hers." Vincent shrugged softly, "I just don't know. I do know that she's killed in my name.. she's feed in my name. She's crazy and you ought to be worried. To me, you are someone special to me. To her, she believes you are stepping into her territory and will deal with you accordingly." Shaking his head, "I don't know what she plans, but, I do know her goal is dealing with you. Jaden wouldn't have showed up if it wasn't."

Pretty much, Vincent had explained to the female that Rebecca was a very good at getting close to someone by use of their friends. He warned her that she'd use Aaliyah's own friends lives against her. Usually so they could lure her away so the female that Rebecca is after can be handled alone and if anyone is to suspect foul play. Police will look toward the friends. Vincent didn't try to get her out of going to soothe a friend, it was unjust for him to use her being in danger to keep her away from her friend's to help them with their problems. Closing the door behind himself, the male moved his hand to her lower back. Giving her a smile, Vincent lead her to the stairwell. He really didn't want to take the elevator at this time, just wanted to spend a little bit more time with Aaliyah before she needed to help her friend. Didn't really know if they would see each other come tomorrow since she'll be out with her friends. "Thanks for lunch, Aaliyah. It was delicious." Vincent spoke, breaking a small silence. "I haven't had cooked steak in a while, better then what I could've made with it." The male spoke, letting out a small laugh before following her down the stairs.

Quickly after they reached the bottom of the staircase, the male moved his hand from her lower back to her hand. He really wasn't worried about her facing any troubles with Rebecca for tonight, she was going back to be with her friends. Someone would sure call and say something weird had happened and she shouldn't come back to the hotel. "So." Vincent spoke softly as they walked out of the apartment complex, "What do you want to do tomorrow? I figure you'll be out with your friends for the most part of tomorrow." Though, he really didn't expect an answer at the moment, so, the male didn't really question more about it.

The walk went by fairly quick. Silent, but, seemed right. Didn't want to impose too much since she'll be going into a emotional, or he assumed, environment. "So, how's dinner at my place tomorrow?" Vincent asked, giving her a smile before stopping outside the door to her hotel. "You can spend the day with your friends, cheer them up, grace them with your presence then come have dinner with me. Maybe watch a movie then I can bring you back. Sound good?"

Taking a seat across from him Aaliyah began to eat, and as she thought, she was hungry now. Even so she listened to Vincent tell Rebecca's story as they ate. Well so far it seemed like she had the bad beginning part down. After all, can't expect some one to be normal when they are abandoned like a lost puppy. And as expected of a lost puppy it seemed like Rebecca took immediately to the first people that found her, but took to one a lot more then the other. Just in a really creepy, really unnecessary way. Taking a bite of her food she blinked noticing how quickly he was finished, she on the other hand had just gotten half way through. "Pleading with you to what?" Of course she kinda expected what he said next, but laughed when he said it anyway. So their love could be connected hm? Ok, that shouldn't have been so funny but...it was. Ok so maybe the girl was a bit more of a crack pot then she thought she was. Even so she put her giggles aside and continued to listen to him. The bottom line was be careful and be afraid because the girl wasn't at all stable, or at least that's what she was getting from him. "Bottom line is she is a nut job to be worried about, and be careful." Taking the last bite of her food she stood up, washing out her bowl and fork before putting them on the rack.

Making sure the box was still nice in her purse, she really wanted to open it but would wait on that, she slipped her purse onto her shoulder, making her way out the door along side him. She loved her friends to death, that she would admit, but at the same time she really wanted to spend more time with Vincent. But her friends needed her help now and she could always spend time with Vincent tomorrow, so she shouldn't have thought about it to much. "Anytime. I haven't had a chance to cook in awhile so I was more then happy to." Cooking was something she hadn't gotten to do a lot these past couple of weeks. Sure she was in college and that pretty much required cooking on your own but Emily had been "trying" to actually cook. It wasn't her strong suit so she wasn't exactly good at it. The only reason Aaliyah was good at it was because when she was little she had to cook for herself. Her parents were starting up their businesses so were often away from home or working late hours. They didn't leave her alone, but instead leave her with a nanny. Problem was Aaliyah never liked nannies so she scared them off. At four she was making nannies leave her home by at least three days in. By the time she was six her parents just stopped trying. It was kinda funny how she did it.

"Tomorrow?" What did she want to do tomorrow? Hmmm...Well she was ok with anything actually. As long as she was with him she was content, simple as that. "I'm not sure how long I'll be with them tomorrow. I'll probably be with them for a longer amount of time tonight then I will tomorrow." She would do her best to get Angela up and happy again tonight and tomorrow she would just check in with her and take her out to breakfast. Or she could have made her breakfast but that would require her to go shopping tonight or really early tomorrow morning....She'd decide on that later on.

Dinner at his place...yeah, sounded good to her. "Sounds good enough to me. I'll try my hardest not to fall asleep this time. I don't think I'll take all day with my friends tomorrow, just most of the morning. I'll call you if it's different and maybe we can do something." She reached up, she really hated being shorter then him, giving him a quick peck on the lips before walking inside the building, taking the elevator up to her room. She was surprised to see at least seven females in her room, five she knew personally, two were a part of the french group the school kept in contact with. It seemed pretty organized for the most part. Crying, ice cream cartons all over the place, lots of soda, cookies, sweets, the basic comfort foods. "Alright...make way people.." Removing her shoes and placing her bag on the chair, removing the box she had gotten from her friends earlier, she made her way to the center of the bed, hugging Angela close, this was going to be a hard afternoon.

It took about twelve gallons of ice cream, seven hours, lots of cans of sodas, funny stories, stupid stories, and a slew of other things before Angela was laughing and feeling better. "I'm going to take them all to their hotels. Are you coming with me?" Emily stood up after she finished tying her shoes, looking to the girls standing at the door before looking back at Aaliyah. "I think I'll just stay here and start cleaning up ok?" With that she watched as the girls walked out one by one, saying their good night. "Well that was tiring..." she murmured, looking at the clock. It was a little past nine. She really hadn't expected it to take this long. Ah well, not like it was a problem or anything. Looking around at the trashed room the girl let out a sigh, grabbing a trash bag from out of the bathroom and beginning to throw things away. It actually didn't take as long as she thought it would. "Now time to see what they gave me..." Plopping down on her bed she began to untie the ribbon that kept the box together, opening it up once she was finished. Once she had opened it though she wished she didn't. It was linguine with a garter belt. It was a pretty dark blue though. And of course there was a note attached to it,

'Try to get some wear out of this ok? I'm sure that Vincent would love to see you in this
<3 Mary and Lidsey

"Why are they such perverts?" she murmured, picking up the garter belt and just staring at it for a moment. How did people even put this on? Playing with it for a few more minutes she put it back in the box hearing the door open. "Finished cleaning up by myself so you owe me." "Really now?" That wasn't Emily's voice...Crap. Crap. Crap. did she even want to look up? Probably not, but she was going to anyway. Taking a deep breath Aaliah looked up, for once not happy that she was right, the person standing in front of her closet door wasn't Emily. "Rebecca I'm assuming?" "Well at the very least you're a smart whore." Before Aaliyah had time to move towards a phone, or any door for that matter, she could feel her body being flung across the room, hitting her head hard on one of the walls. Ok, that hurt. A lot. " Any reason we can't talk about this?" "Talk about what?" Rebecca sighed, brushing a strand of hair out of her face. "There's not much to talk about. You're a slut who's dating my boyfriend. A home wrecker if anything." "How is it possible to-Ow, ow, ow,ow!" Aaliyah cringed as she felt her hair being pulled up, along with her body, that is before she was slammed into a wall again, the body of other female pressed heavily against her back.

"I don't think its possible to wreck something that doesn't exist." Now probably wasn't the best time to patronize the angry crazy vampire, but Aaliyah was doing it anyway. But of course, it could have been because she was patronizing the crazy vampire that she felt a set of fangs pierce the skin of her neck a minute later. It was kinda hard to focus on the pain in her head when the pain in her neck was now so much worse. So, so much worse. It wasn't until she could feel those pearly whites dig into her skin more that she actually started to cry a bit, never scream, but cry. Ok, this hurts like hell. taking a breath she reached down, looking for something, anything that she could use to hit the woman with. Pen, note pad, dull pencil, lamp...Wait, lamp would work. Grabbing the object by the neck the girl lifted up the lamp by the neck slowly, but when she hit it against the other girls head that was in one fast, swift motion. Yes it kinda hurt, ok it hurt like hell, when some of the shards cut her cheek and neck but it was worth it to have the crazy bitch let her go and grab her on neck. "Sorry but I have to go now." grabbing her bag she made her way out of the apartment and into the elevator as quickly as possible, hoping she would be safe with more people. Taking out her phone she called Emily first, ignoring the people in the elevator gaping at the blood running down her cheek and neck. "Emily." "Yeah what's up? I'm almost back." "Don't come back to the hotel ok?" "What why?" "I would explain if I could. Just do me a favor and find Zack, try to anyway." He was always around when they didn't want to see him so hopefully it would be the same when they needed him. "Why?" "I can't say right now ok? Just try to find Zack and stay with him for a little while. Don't leave him until I tell you to." "Ok...You alright?" "Not exactly. But I'll tell you later ok? Bye?" Handing up the phone she made her way out of the elevator quickly, running down the street towards Vincent's apartment, calling on the way.

For seven hours, Vincent sat around his apartment doing nothing. Boredom crept up quickly after he had walked back to his apartment. He did a lot of channel surfing, of course nothing really was ever on. Paris wasn't known for its amazing selection in channels. Vincent had finished off a lot of leftovers from the lunch Aaliyah had made for them in the afternoon. Of course, Zack popped by only to inform that him or Jaden couldn't find Rebecca anywhere. Their belief was that she ran off since someone was closer to Vincent then she, so, she couldn't simply take the thought of it. Vincent, on the other hand, didn't believe that. He knew she'd go after Aaliyah sooner or later. Just hoped it was when he was around to stop her... permanently if needed. Other then that, the male just sat around lazily. His craving to paint wasn't at all there, just didn't seem like something he wanted at the moment. What he wanted was to make sure Aaliyah was safe and protected. There were a few times that he picked up his phone to call her but didn't. Just didn't want to seem worried over something that could never happen.

Vincent let out a small sigh, his thumb pressing down on the Up arrow on the remote. The constant channel surfing was getting rather annoying. Hearing the cheap ringer from his cell phone, the male pushed himself up from the couch. He assumed it was Zack because he had said he'd give him a call sometime later. Flipping open the phone, Vincent brought it up to the side of his head. "Hello?" He asked into it, the male really didn't need to look at who was calling simply because of the fact that it could only be two people; Zack and now Aaliyah. "Wait. Slow down. What happened, Aaliyah?" The male asked, by the sound of her voice he could simply tell she was scared. Vincent listened closely to what she had to say, what he feared had came true. Rebecca attacked Aaliyah. Luckily enough for Aaliyah, she was able to get away. "I'll be right down, just keep moving. She wouldn't attack you while you were outside." Flipping the phone closed, the male tossed the phone onto the couch. Sliding his feet into his shoes quickly, the male pulled open the door. Stepping through, Vincent quickly rushed to the stairwell. Letting his door slowly swing shut.

Vincent met the female practically right outside his apartment building, which then he had covered most of her with his body so it drew no attention to other people that she was harmed. Which would more likely draw attention to her bite wound. Vincent led her through the stairwell, up the few flights up steps before leading her to his apartment. Walking with a much needed haste, the male pushed the door back open. The swing back really didn't shut it all the way. "Almost there, just don't panic." Vincent spoke to the female, his hand tied into her's as he led her through the front room then into his room then into his bathroom.

Shutting the door behind her, the male quickly moved the male turned toward him. Moving her back against the sink, lifting her up then onto the sink. "Just sit tight. I'll be right back." Pulling the door open, Vincent was going to grab his medical kit. Open blood wasn't something he wanted to deal with with his bare hands, wasn't something that was a good idea with an open wound with a Vampire. Grabbing the Medic kit from underneath the bed, the male pushed himself up from the floor before moving back to the bathroom. "Alright, lets get you patched up and fixed." The male spoke, letting out a minor laugh.

It took Vincent about twenty minutes to actually get her to stop moving around to actually clean her, the male was using Peroxide so it stung against her skin. After he blew on it and reassured her she wasn't going to change into a Vampire, she finally calmed down enough to let her finish cleaning up her bite wound. The cut on her cheek stopped bleeding enough to where she didn't have to get it cleaned immediately. Removing the sanitary gloves from his hands, the male tossed them into the garbage tin underneath the sink. Placing his hands on her knees, the male gave her a smile. "All goo... wait, almost done." The male spoke, moving his left hand up from her knee to her cheek. Wiping his thumb, the male smeared some of the blood from her cut across her cheek. Giving her a small smile, the male quickly wiped his thumb against his pants. "You know you got lucky, right?" Vincent asked softly, "Don't know what you did to get away... usually Vampires never let anyone get away." Shaking his head softly, the male moved his right hand to her cheek. Rubbing softly, "Everyone get out or...?"

The girl had to admit, she was overjoyed when she was back in Vincent's apartment. It could have been the fact that she was safe here and she knew Vincent wouldn't let anything happen to her or because she had a moment to sit and think about how she wanted to do such evil things to the deranged vampire in denial that bit her. Such evil, evil things. One of which involved a bat and the other a stick. Yes, she really wanted to beat the girl with a stick. The bat would have been more effective probably but it wouldn't cause her as much amusement. But she wouldn't think about that now. She would think about that after she was cleaned up and the throbbing pain in both her neck, head, and back went away. Even though Aaliyah was more then outraged with the woman she had to admit, Rebecca had a really good arm. Still, that didn't change the fact that she wanted to stab the girl with...well, never mind that.

Sitting on the bathroom sink she frowned seeing the peroxide. She was already in pain, now she was about to be stung? Great...Like a little kid she fidgeted and moved around, not wanting the stuff anywhere near her open wounds. The girl didn't like any form of medical treatment what so ever. Actually no, that was a lie. She didn't like needles or anything that burned and/or stung her and peroxide just happened to be on that list. But after being calmed down the girl did sit still, flinching when she felt the liquid touch her skin, that aside he didn't hear a sound out of her. It wasn't often that the girl shouted out in pain or anything close to it. She never had for some reason. Even when she was a child and a belt was involved she never yelled or shouted, but she did cry. But that was a given. Belts hurt, especially the thin leather ones. Those hurt the most. But she would take that over the feeling in her neck when Rebecca bit her any day of the week. She wasn't even sure how far the girl bit down but she could feel it was some what deep. As long as she wasn't turning into anything though she would be just fine.

"I hit her with a lamp." And if that didn't work there was a good chance Aaliyah would have been royally screwed in that situation, more then she had been anyway. That or she might have not been here at all, but that was a bit scary to think about. "And it worked so I'm not complaining, but I do feel lucky." Her back wasn't broken, her head wasn't open, and she was still breathing. Considering she was dealing with a basket case she considered that to be pretty lucky. "But yeah, no one else is there. Actually Emily was taking them all home when it happened. I think she was hiding in my closet though, which is kinda scary." More like creepy, but scary worked to. "And I told Emily to try and find Zack but not to go back to the apartment." Now that she thought about it just how was she suppose to explain to Emily what had happened? She'd probably just lie and say a burglar had broken in or something. The girl might not have believed her but it would have to work for now.

Leaning over she rested her head against the males shoulder, letting out a sigh. "Know how I said I wanted to go home tonight? Well...I'm changing my mind for awhile. As long as you'll have me anyway." She honestly had to admit, while she wasn't tired about thirty minutes ago she was extremely tired now, but blood loss could always do that to a person. Reaching up to rub her neck she could feel the two large holes in her neck along with two slightly smaller ones. Hopefully those would heal quickly. The pain in her head had died down and she was pretty sure her back would be ok by morning. But she wondered, where was Emily at now? Was she ok? Hopefully she hadn't had one of her 'lets go see' moments and went back to the hotel anyway.

Leaning up Aaliyah removed her phone out of her pocket, pressing 2 on her phone and talk before pressing the device to her ear. Pick up, pick up, pick up... It took a minute but finally she got some kind of answer. "Emily?" " Yeah? You ok? You sound a lot...calmer, then before." "I am. Are you with Zack?" "Yep, found him walking around. He looked kinda rushed though. What's going on?" "Nothing that I can explain right now." "So when can you?" "I'm...not sure." She frowned hearing a sigh on the other line. "Ok, I'm trusting you Alli. Just stay out of trouble ok?" "I will." "Bye." "Bye." Hanging up the phone she slipped it back in her pocket, the frown still on her face. "So what happens now?"
