He laughed and sipped the glass. "Boss that's my whole damn life." He said.

"Oh? Do tell? I'm a terrible hostess, letting you live in my home and not getting to know you." She said.

"Nah, you're fine.. and not much to tell, used to get in trouble with the law a bit.. left town.." he said as he drank some more.

"Came to the Capital and hoped you'd strike big?" She asked, swirling her wine gently.

He laughed a bit. "Read me like a book.."

She smiled softly and his heart skipped. "I suppose so..."

He made a noise and continued drinking.

She finished her glass and rested her head in her arms, "Gods, I think I drank too much..." She slurred.

"Wussa matter?" She asked, watching him, "You're being awful quiet.."

"Hm? Oh, nothin." He said, trying not to stare.

"You're not looking at me.." She told him, "What's wrong...? Am I unattractive...?"

He made a noise. "Didn't think my boss would appreciate me staring.."

"Well, when you're almost 50, any attention is nice attention..." She replied, "You aren't too painful on the eyes yourself.."

He made a noise. "Yeah? Well thanks boss.. hard to keep my eyes off you to be honest.."

"Yeah?" She asked softly, giving a small smile, "Well...why not I grant you every young human man's wildest, wettest dream and we have sex together?"
