The young adult male sat in front of his television, clicking the remote to change the channels. He moved some hair out of his eye, laying on his side still. He set the remote down and looked at the clock. "She will be here any moment now." He said, unlocking his front door and changed the output to his T.V. He then grabbed a controller and plugged in a second, turning on his game system and sat down on his bean bag chair. He moved his hair out of his eyes once more, it starting to irritate him once more.
He hated his semi-long hair, but couldn't and wouldn't want to cut it any more. He was letting it grow out, and for what reason? He didn't have one, he just wanted to. The menu to the new game, called "Outbreak", appeared up on the screen. It was a two player survival game, where you played a group of people who had to survive an onslaught of undead. He then set his control down and looked out the door, not seeing any sign of his friend.
He went into the kitchen, grabbed out a bag of popcorn and took the plastic wrap, setting it in the microwave. "Alright, ah, that button." He said. For some reason he had bad luck with popcorn, but little else. He leaned on the counter, his pure black shirt on and his red-ish jacket was set on the back of one of the chairs. He had on a pair of black boots and slightly tight pants. They weren't skin tight, but they weren't that loose either.
Him and his friend, Kari was her name, were going to play "Outbreak" together, Selo having just gotten it. The game was release the day before, so it wasn't cheap and hadn't had very many reviews of it. Selo was full of anticipation, always glancing at the clock and out the window, but also checking the popcorn. Selo's family had a lot of money, but only owned a single story house, but his father spent most of it in catalogs. He would buy different firearms, and set them around the house. His father also did go out on the shooting range, taking Selo and Kari some of the times.
Selo glanced once more out the door and saw his friend in the distance. "Here she comes!" He said then rushed over to grab the popcorn bag, opening it just a few seconds before the timer would cut off. He then shook the bag and opened it, setting it down on the floor between the two bean bags, grabbing up his control. "Come on in!" He called out as Kari would get close to the door.
