In regards of name change!

I know this might seem rude to some

But i'd like to ask, if it is normal if a user has not been active since 2016 and i'd like to have their username?

I don't believe that we purge old accounts. Unfortunately, if the username is taken, it is likely to remain unavailable.

Thank you for the information! Even tho this would make a great suggestion ahaha, many websites do purge accounts after being logged out of for so long

Because of the nature of the site (people put their writing here, their characters, their plots, etc.) it is unlikely we will ever do so. If people want to come back and retrieve their old stories, characters, etc. we need them to be able to do so. Sorry to disappoint!

That's not a disappointment at all! Thank you for explaining the reason, I completely understand so ^^
