She didn't answer. "Doesn't talk much does she?" Naomi asked. "She gives me the creeps. I'll catch you later, Koishi." Naomi took her cousins hand and ran ahead. Seraphina took her place at his side. She knew it was her fault that his friend left.

He slapped the back of her head not rather hard but to prove a point."Well thanks...Usually I walk with her to class..."He growled at her."But thanks to you I have to walk with you...So your just going to listen to me understand."He said sternly.

A group of kids looked over and saw the demon."Hey look at that...We have a demon at our school."The grunt said to the leader."Yeah let's go say hi and welcome the fresh meat...I hear that young demons are scared shitless of angels."He chuckled.
 
Seraphina gasped when he smacked her in the head. She nodded and then continued to face front even though she knew some other kids were about to confront her. She decided to just ignore them and not let them get to her like the female told her to.
 
The group surronded her and Koishi didn't stop."Don't get my lunch damaged."He called out.

The leader smirked."Well well well what do we have here...A little demon in the midist of an angel school?"He asked and poked her shoulder with a smirk. The group had three guys and a girl."What are you doing here demon?"The other guy spoke up.
 
Seraphina wanted to follow but the group wouldn't let her through. She backed up slightly and made a frustrated noise. "I doubt she can answer you. Demons are pretty stupid. I bet she can only talk in that dreadful demonic language." The voice came from a bystander, who was in the newly formed crowd. "I heard they heal pretty fast when normal wounds are inflicted on them..maybe you guys should test it." Another called. Seraphina looked over the boys shoulder watching Koishi continue without her.
 
Koishi stopped to talk to another one of his friends. Not even caring about if they bullied her around or anything of the sort."Who has a knife on them?"One of the grunts asked. The leader pulled out a small switch blade easy to hide and sharp to the point."Let's see if this little girl does heal as fast as they say."He said pulling the blade out. The others grabbed her and held her still holding her arm out so it could be cut. They didn't care. They were enjoying themselves. And soon the blade touched her arm and went down it making a nice long cut.
 
She gasped as they grabbed her arm and screamed something in demonic language, causing the others to laugh. As they made the long cut she made sure not to drop her brothers lunch. "I think she said she wants more!" Someone shouted. Her wound began to close up after a minute, proving the statement to be a fact. She tried to pull away from them all but they were too strong. "K-Koishi!" She screamed.
 
Koishi turned towards the screams as they started to cut into her arm again. "Hey back off her."He barked at them as he pushed the group away. He might not have liked his sister but he was the only one that was to bring harm to the girl."This demon is not for you to harm I am the only one to harm her."He said and grabbed her freshly cut arm and dragged her off with him."God you cause me so much trouble."He said.

The group looked at him like he was crazy."What just happened I though he hated them...Now he is saving them?"One asked stumped.
 
Disappointed mutters came from the dispersing crowd as Koishi dragged her away. Seraphina hugged his arm and smiled. "Koishi!" She repeated. He had come back for her even though he said he hated her. Naomi looked back at him and the demon and then turned away and continued to walk. "He went back to her? Why? So what if they were cutting her? Its not like it won't heal back." She muttered to her cousin. "We should stay away from him. If you see him, give him the silent treatment."
 
He pulled his sister into an empty class and shut the door forcing her against the wall."I swear, You've caused me nothing but trouble."He growled as he held her hard against the wall."I didn't come back to you cause I cared...I don't want anyone to beat up on my demon...Im the only one to cause you physical pain."He snarled."Now do yourself a favour and don't expect me to save you the next time."He said."Just go home after everyone is in class...Im not going to look out for you."He said.
 
Her smile had faded and she shook her head. She wanted to stay with him. She looked into his eyes and then held up his lunch with a smile. She managed not to damage it just as he asked. Her wounds were gone and only dry blood remained. She tried to hug him again, just glad that he had taken her from the scary children.
 
He smacked the lunches from her hand."I don't care if you didn't damage them."You will listen to me...Now when everyone goes inside to class I want you to go home."He said."I don't care how scary the walk is or how far...I am not going to ruin my life cause of you."He said."Naomi probably won't even talk to me cause of that little stunt I pulled and it's all because of you."He said and get go of her as he walked out of the class room slamming the door behind him.
 
She watched him leave and then sighed, picking up the lunch bags and then sitting in the corner of the classroom. She refused to leave until he did.

After what seemed like hours lunch had finally come. Naomi and her friends were the first outside, spreading a picnic blanket and unpacking their lunches. Naomi had ignored Koishi all during class, but she was beginning to feel bad.
 
Koishi knew that he was an outcast at least for today. So he went over towards the old dead tree the school never got rid of and sat against it. It was furthest from everyone. He couldn't really just walk up to his friends and just go hey care if I the demon liker sit down with you. No he was hated for what he did. But he spoke the truth she was his to inflict pain on no one elses.
 
Seraphina had managed to stay out of sight until lunch, but when she noticed the kids outside she walked into the courtyard and brought him his lunch with a smile. She knew she had disobeyed him, but she wanted him to eat. She wanted him to be happy, and by the looks of it he was alone, like her.
 
When he saw her he growled."You can't listen can you?"He asked as he ignored the lunch."Your such a dumbass...I told you go home...But no here you are handing me my lunch."He said."I don't care about it or you...Just Go home already or else I will be the one cutting your body and not anyone else...Would you like that?"He asked with a snarl. He was trying to be as mean as he could to her so that she would go home.
 
"Koishi...big brother...family." She said before something struck her in the back of the head. She looked down and saw a half eaten apple. She looked at Koishi again and pointed at him. "Koishi." Then she pointed at herself. "Seraphina...family." It was the most she had ever said before. She was a quick learner if she was around language that much.
 
He looked at her with a sigh."Your not family."He said."Your a demon and Im an angel."He said."Our kind hate your kind."He growled."Now go home."He said."I don't care for you...I never did...I don't care if you keep saying your family."He said."You are not family to me."He said calmly. God what he wouldn't give to hang out with his friends.
 
Seraphina sighed and then pretended as if she were leaving but just went to the far side of the courtyard. A few minutes later, Naomi's cousin walked up to him. "If you don't want to be shunned, you have to get that stupid demon to follow us to the park after school. Everyone wants to stone her. And if you join in, I'll tell Naomi to talk to you again." The girl smirked.
 
He looked up at the girl."I can't come after school...I have to get ready for the oracle tonight."He said. "And she won't leave my side...I could turn her into a slave and have her sent out to do what I want but I don't want to do anything sinful for today."He said."So...Maybe later."He said."Just tell naomi im sorry alright."He said."Oracle comes first."
 
"Hmmph...fine, we'll just force her to come. Just tell your parents she found a place to stay until you come back. Its not lying." She then ran off, speaking to everyone that she came across. They would just knock her out and drag her to the park.
 
He groaned he did sorta promise his mother and he was sure that she wanted her to see her brother get turned into one of the greatest angels."I guess I will be hated for this but let's see after tonight."Koishi said as he stood up he didn't open his lunch as he walked towards his sister."Get up you wench."He snapped sharply at her."We are going home early...do not speak to me for the rest of the day, And do not touch me..Just follow by me at my side."He said.
 
She smiled and got up to walk by his side. Naomi saw him talking to the demon and stared as they began to go off campus. "Whats wrong, Naomi? Oh...you're looking at them. Hey, where are they going?" One of her friends asked. "Beats me." Naomi said quickly and looked away. It wasn't long before everyone else noticed them leaving campus. "Hmph. What go is the one winged angel is he has sympathy for his enemies?"
 
He looked at her and the spotted over everyone one Naomi. This was going to ruin their friendship and probably turn them into enemys. But would she really remain that mad at him."As soon as tonight is over im joining the ranks...Just to get away from everything."He said softly not bothering to look at her just paid attention to the ground."I hate you demon."He said.
 
She sighed a bit as she followed him. Once they were home, Kaname opened the door and let them in. "What happened? Did they hurt her, Koishi? Is that why you came home early?" Kaname asked, pulling Seraphina inside the house. "Is that blood on her arm? How did this happen!?"
