It was early morning in the kingdom of Anglion, the sun was just peeking over the south mountains, rays causing the dew to shimmer and shine on the emerald green leaves of the brch trees. The wind blew in from the west, making for a warm day in the valleys below the castles. Towards the entrance of the castles people gathered for the morning markets, trading, selling and stealing goods. Bakers wre shouting about freshly baked bread that was baked two days before and woman shouted about jewlery from foreign kingdoms that probably came from the mines down in the villages. Gaurds stood round, clad in silver armour and the golds and purples of the kingdom. Their swords sheathed at their sides were more decoration then anything as people never really misbehaved in this seemingly decent world. As people made trades and kiddies ran about, someone hid in the shadows. She slithered between poles and scanned each stand for something worth stealing. Mainky magick.. She needed Magick.. And only one place made that stuff.. Clanspeople of the fells. They made talismans and jewels for witches and wizards alike.

Echo turned and slithered towards the west gate, the sun flickering across her lavender scales and skin, causing her to shimmer like a thousamd tiny diamonds. Her pale white hair flowed in the wind, making her tuck kt behind her ears. She exited the kingdom and went down to the fells, heading for the clans villages. Her tail flattened the grass behind her and the jewels embedded in her skin glowed as she got closer to the village. She stopped and listened. The children were out running around. She slid behind some trees and slid further nto the village, heading fr the market square, her tail snapping twigs under her as she moved. She slid behind some houses and changed forms becoming a fox. She trotted out and started to sniff around, her orange fur glistening in the sunlight trickling through the leaves.

Talion lean up in bed and gave a stretch, the sunlight that streamed in through the window of his simple caravan home shimmering softly on his pallid skin. His soft brown hair illuminated by the warm rays to an almost wheat-gold as the light hit it before Talion reached back and, after grabbing the simple band off of his beside table, drew his hair up into a ponytail. With that done and now that he was more-or-less awake Talion slid out of bed, completely nude, and retrieved his clothes from hanging in the window to dry and air out. Sliding each piece of clothing on before picking up a small pouch and, reaching inside it, removing a tiny emerald from within. This emerald was cut.... oddly..... with distinct nicks and grooves within it's surface in the form of various symbols. It also seemed to contain it's own distinct light.

Nodding to himself Talion crushed the gem in his hand before tossing the viridian dust into the air around himself, the magic within the gem being released in the form of viridian vapor that scented his clothes lightly of pine and the fresh spray of a waterfall. Tying the pouch of gems to his waist Talion nodded and walked to his kitchen, retrieved a few preserved pieces of meat, and decided to go cook them on the communal fire outside. Heading outside, he was quickly greeted with the warm and friendly welcome of people he had known and lived with since his birth. He gave them all a smile, a wave or a nod before stopping in front of one of the many small fires the community set up to keep warm by. Kneeling down beside it, Talion nodded before sitting on a nearby log and removed a small gem from his pouch. This time retrieving a clear diamond that was as thin as paper.

Crushing the diamond in hand Talion drifted the clear dust over the fire before tossing the meat on the flat 'surface' the dust created. Entirely invisible but capable of transferring heat. He sighed, happily, and reclined to watch the meat cook. His eyes casually looking about until he spotted a cute little fox. It's orange fur glistening in the sun and Talion smiled, idly snapping a piece of the cooking meat free and tsking softly at the little creature. Offering the meat to it as he smile "Here ya go little guy. C'mere. Get some food."

@Midnight678

Echo's ears perked and her eyes lifted as she heard a tsk and a voice. Her little brown nose twitched as he held meat out to her. She stepped forward carefully her ruby eyes narrowed slightly out of weariness. She got right next to him and took the meat out of his hand hungrily and bounded off behind a bush. The leaves ruffled and some fell to the ground as she got settled. Holding the meat between her paws, she tilted her head and started to gnaw on it, those small, sharp canines tearing through the salty meat eagerly. She grabbed the last piece and tossed her head, causing it to fly in the air. When it fell she caught it and smacked her lips, swallowing eagerly. Now that she had had a taste of food, her stomach growled loudly and forced echo to go back to the man. She crawled to him nervously, her bushy tail tucked between her legs and her eyes wide and begging. She let out a little yip and nudged his leg hopefully. Her eyes drifted up and down him.

Those eyes spotted a pouch and she sniffed the air. Magick... And seemingly a lot of it... Those ruby orbs of hers flashed greedily and she inched closer. Her small mouth wrapped gently around the pouch and she rolled onto her back playfully. She wanted to trick him into thinking she was playing. Her fluffy tail wagged quickly and she let out a growl, a foxy grin on her face as she tugged at the bag of gems playfully. Her black paws reached up and pushed against his side, continuing the playful act. She finally felt it come free and she rolled and bound back, her front half crouched low and her butt raised in the air as she growled again, trying to get him to chase her. She bounded to the left, her little paws glistening with dew and flattening the grass around her. Her white teeth sparkled in the light as she gently held the pouch, the little growl coming from her throat so soft and tiny it wouldn't even pass for one

Talion chuckled as the cute little critter took the warm, cured meat from his hand in the usual wary fashion that most forest creatures acted with around humans. Talion didn't have to wait long before the tiny critter came back, it's little fluffy tail tucked nervously, before it gave him a hungry yip and he rolled his eyes. A smile gracing his lips as he went to retrieve another piece of meat. "Well it looks like I've made a friend." Talion remarked to no-one but the fox, chuckling as it nudged him playfully and began to wag it's tail. Apparently it had decided it liked him. Talion had always wanted a pet, after all, and so he turned to ruffle the little creature's head affectionately. Not at all noticing how it tugged at his pouch of gems. Instead he merely tossed it another small piece of meat and smiled fondly.

"And a cute one at that....." Talion trailed off, before blinking, realizing his pouch was gone before glancing at the little fox. Talion snorted, realizing it was holding his pouch in it's little teeth and Talion motioned with a hand, standing up. "Hey now, give that here. It's dangerous. If you do I'll give you some more food....." He tempted sweetly, dangling another piece of nice, warm, tasty jerky in front of Echo. A small smile gracing his features as he crouched down by the little fox, attempting to entice it into surrendering the bag of magical gems. Some of which would be very dangerous to it if the little fox accidentally broke inside the bag. And if ALL of them went off at once... well.... even Talion wasn't EXACTLY sure what would happen if that was the case. "C'mere little one. Give me the bag."

She growled as he approached her and hopped around, her tail wagging wildly. As he offered the prospect of more food she dropped the bag and yipped, her paws outstretched as she tackled him, tiny claws hooking into clothing as she licked his face eagerly. She then let go, twisting goofily as she struggled to land on her feet. She landed with a thud and laughed... Well.. made a noise close to a laugh before she grabbed the bag gently and trotted back to him. Her ruby eyes blink at him before she lifted a paw and licked at it before she flopped onto her back, her paws bent on her chest and tongue hanging out of the side of her bouth as she cocked her head to the side and barked. Suddenly her form flickered and she started to change forms.

Grey fur replaced her orange and black fur. Her body grew longer and so did her snout. Her paws and legs grew as well and she rolled over. She shook out her fur and looked at him. Her now longer fur ruffled slightly in the wind and she fliced her ears around. She stepped closer to him and nuzzled him gently, sniffing the gem pouch again before turning away and snatching the meat he had dropped on the round. She gobbled it whole and then laid out b the fire. "My names Echo.. I'm a shifter. I'm grateful for the meats and want to know your name." She gave a toothy grin as her tail thumped casually on the ground.

Talion chuckled happily as the cute little fox played with him, already feeling endeared to the cute little creature. When she brought the bag over to him he put it, this time, inside a leather pouch on his side that he tied shut. Just in case the mischievous little creature got second ideas about trying to play with something so dangerous again. After all, if this little critter WAS going to be his pet..... it did NOT do good to let it munch on explosive magic gems. Talion snorted at this thought and shook his head, glancing at the fox, only to blink as it seemed to wobble, change, and turn into a wolf. Talion's eyes widened, he blinked, then lifted a hand to rub his eyes. Thinking that maybe, just maybe, the meat he was preparing had gone bad and was causing him to see things.

This was proven wrong when the wolf laid by the fire with him and.... spoke? Talion shook his head, completely befuddled, and stuck a pinky in his ear in order to clear it out. Staring at the wolf in disbelief before glancing at the meat he was cooking. "Aaaaah right... I think maybe this meat isn't so good...." Talion mumbled before chucking the meat into the bushes, still in relative disbelief that he had thought a wolf could TALK when he heard a sudden loud screech from the bushes. This made Talion jump in surprise, turn to look at the screeching, and the sight was almost comical... almost.

From the bushes came a small creature, about three foot in height, clad in the still-bloody pelts of animals it wore as camouflage and armor. It's mottled green skin smeared with... something.... that Talion could only assume was meant to hide it's grotesque smell. However, the little goblin also had razor-sharp claws that dripped with blood, and what looked to be the scalp of one of the camp watchmen on their belt. Even as the bubbling, cooked meat Talion had thrown into the bushed burned into it's skin. Causing the goblin to flail about and grab at what WOULD have been Talion's breakfast.

Talion stood, grimacing, and glanced at his new wolf, even as a dozen more of the little evil creatures poured out of the bushes. Clad in skins, makeshift armor and possessing the pelts, scalps and claws of various people and animals to adorn themselves with. Talion let out a slow breathe, his hand falling down to the pouch at his hip. While to some goblins were just a funny story to tell their children at night, and in truth the little creatures were.... stupid.... they were equally deadly. After all where goblins were concerned a dozen was little more than a scouting party and, despite their size, they were quick and deadly.

Sure enough even as the dozen little creatures swarmed out to confront Talion and the wolf, what sounded like the vile screeching of another several dozen goblins began to spread over the rest of the camp. Men, women and children alike beginning to scream and flee for their lives. One woman being tackled by three of the vile creatures, who drove a dagger into her arm to pin her to the ground, and began to grope and lick at her as they cackled. Talion's stomach turned, even as his eyes narrowed at the dozen goblins approaching them, one of them eyeing his new pet wolf and cackling "OOoooh we's gunna eat that one!"

She snorted at his reaction, rolling onto her back as leaves crunched under her. Her long tail wagged happily and she laid her ears back, her large paws pawing the air. Echo's head lifted when he spoke about the meat and she shot up, laughing even more. "N no.. The meats.. fine.. You're not going crazy, trust me." She sneezed as she lowered her body and swiped at him playfully, black claws curled as they lightly catch his pant leg. The fabric tore and she sat up, shaking her right paw to loose the clothe from her paw. "I'm real. I talk. Just like you. Except I change forms." Her lips curled back as she gave yet another toothy smile. As he continued to talk o himsef she shook her head out and started to lick at her fur casually.

When he moved to toss the meat she yelped and stood up, her ears perked toward the bushes as she glared at him. "Seriously? I was gonna want more of that!" snapping her mouth at him and growled. Her head then snapped to the bush and her nose twitched as she watched the ugly creature emerge, flailing wildly. She laughed at the gruesome sight before she saw more and more emerge. When a group tackled a woman to the ground she turned her head away, grimacing. "Fuck... Goblins.. Hate these guys.." She muttered. She crouched low as they seemed to emerge endlessly, her hackles raising when a group of about three noticed her. When they mentioned lunch she snarled her lips curling again.

"You want lunch? Come and get it you vile green cunts!" She changed forms suddenly and became a large black bear. She stood on her hind legs and let out a viscous roar, slamming down on the ground. She lunged for the goblins wanting nothig more then to destroy those little ass holes. Her paw swiped one of them, flinging it to the side as she caught another one in her mouth. She gagged as she bit down and it's rotten, vile blood spilled into her mouth. She dropped the creature and almost vomited at it's taste. Shaking her head she turned to the man"You! Help that woman out! I got the others!"

With that she lumbered towards another three, swiping each one out of her way with massive paws, not even flinching as daggers dug into her skin and stuck. After a while she slowed and growled loudly, panting heavily. Shifting took a lot out of her and she wasn't going to stay in form much longer. With a couple weak swipes of her paw she collapse on the ground. Her back paws formed together and her fur disappear. Scales replaced them as her bottom half grew longer. Her upper body became human and her armour appeared, barely covering her huge breasts.

She rolled over to face the sky and hissed angrily as goblins tackled her, their daggers piercing flesh as she squirmed and tried her best to fight them off. She was too weak though and she went limp under a pile of vile smelling creatures. She cried out in pain as one of them beat her "Get... off...you fucking scum bags..!" Hissing angrily at them as they bit and tore at her flesh angrily.

Talion...... honestly had no idea what to think about this 'Echo' as they kept insisting they weren't just some fever dream brought on by a bad lunch. Talion couldn't help but snort a small laugh at how grumpy she seemed over the meat he threw away though. Finding it adorably hilarious that she was so concerned about being fed. Even so, he quickly refocused on the approaching goblins and, when Echo turned into a large bear, he blinked in surprise for a moment before smirking. "Oh yeah? Well.... let me show you what I can do!" He challenged to the tiny green creatures. Pulling a small gem, a pearl to be exact, cut in the shape of a blade before he crushed it in his hand, formed a fist, and swiped his hand through the air horizontally. A blade materializing out of magic grasped firmly in his palm.

Talion easily cuts a goblin's head off as it charges at him, the little creatures not much of a threat unless you get surrounded. The little cretin's dark, inky blood splattering the ground before Talion drives the nearly invisible blade of magic through another goblin's head, then uses his free hand to pull a small ruby out of the pouch, take aim, and toss it straight into a charging goblin's mouth as it issues a war-cry. The little creature gagging and sputtering on the gem before it breaks and releases the fireball inside. Exploding the little thing's head as well as burning the surrounding goblins to a crisp. Though before Talion could celebrate the triple kill he heard Echo apparently struggling against the goblins as they overwhelmed her. Pinning her down as their little grubby hands groped her massive breasts, their long, gross tongues lapping at her face even as one kicked her in the back repeatedly.

Talion was briefly surprised by Echo's change of appearance, wondering if this was her real form for only a second before he parried a goblin's knife with his sword and cut both the creature's arms off. Talion was just able to reach into his gem pouch and hurl a random gem at the goblings as one of them began to rub Echo's breasts with lewd intentions. The gem shattering against one of the goblin's heads and emitting a bright flash. In an instant all the goblins around Echo would be... different. Not exactly more pleasant but now instead of having seven of so goblins groping and beating her, she had seven goblin statues all petrified around and on top of her.

Nodding at this, and very thankful the gem didn't have enough magic to petrify something as large as Echo, Talion turned and searched in his bag for a larger gem. Pulling out a large, deep green emerald before nodding. Turning back to the remaining goblins near himself and Echo, he stepped between the vile creatures and her prone form, flinging the deep viridian gem at them before turning and covering Echo's body with his own. Shielding her as the magic from the gem was released as soon as it hit the ground. A bright flash of green magical energy lighting up the sky as Talion closed his eyes and hugged Echo to his chest.

From the ground erupted a torrent of vines, thorn bushes and even miniature trees that seemed to turn and lash out in all directions with thick club-like branches. Many goblins being outright skewed and killed, while others were helplessly entangled in inch-long thorns and even more were bashed to death by the trees. One of thee said branches struck Talion in the back and, while strong enough to kill a goblin, merely knocked him out atop Echo. His body going slack as his consciousness left him. While it would probably take Echo a while to get her bearings, and it was obvious that all the goblins near Talion and she were slain, the rest of the village was either burning, being raped or pillaged. What had initially been fifty of the creatures having quickly escalated to over a hundred of the vicious things storming the unprepared village. Leaving she holding Talion's unconscious body near it's edge with a hundred murderous creatures in one direction and the forest in the other.

She shuddered as the goblins started to get....suggestive with her.She pushed one away from her breasts and closed her eyes tight. Then.. Everything went still and she opened an eye. She was covered in stone statues. Weakly, she pushed them off of her and sat up, watching the man hunt in his bag of gems. He threw on up and she coughed as dust exploded. And then she was tackled. What was with tackling? She grunted loudly as the man covered her with his own body. Her tail wrapped weakly around him as vines grew and choked out the goblins nd branches as thick as her tail flung about. One of said branches hit the man oh his back and he collapsed on top of her. She waited a bit for the vines to die down.

She slithered off into the shelter of the forest with him in her arms, head resting on her breasts. When they were far enough along she stopped and rolled him onto his back on the soft forest floor before she collapsed herself. Her ruby eyes closed and her breathing slowed as she fell into a rejuvenating sleep. Her body glowed and heated slightly as she slept, showing she was healing. Her body healed those cuts, becoming nothing more then faded scars.

She woke a while later and turned to the man. He was still out.. She groaned.. She was going to have to drag him everywhere. Rolling her eyes, she straightened up and grabbed him, looping his arms around her shoulders she slithered off in the direction of a forest hut she frequented often. Makig her way through the forest, she smiled and looked around. If it weren't for the mage on her back, this would've been a perfect walk. Greens, pinks, purples, blues, every color of the rainbow seemed to be found in this forest. The sun shone through the leaves, creating a dappled pattern on the soft green grass. She stopped by a berry bush and ate some of them hungrily, hissing in satisfaction as the sweet juice flushed her mouth. After eating a few, she picked a few more and put them in the mage's pouch.

She grinned as she started out again, panting slightly from the mans weight. She finlly came up to a little opening in an old oak tree and slithered in. She looked around. Fucking squirrels had gottn in again, leaving the place with nuts everywhere. She growled and laid him down on a bed of leaves, covering him up with on of her clothes. Once he was settled, she turned away and took her armour off, laying it aside, she grab a light purple wrap and wrapped it around her chest, compressing her breasts so the weren't in her way but it was comfier the amour. She then used her tail to clean up all the nuts and flicked them out onto the forest floor.

She ten yawned and curled her tail up, lieing her head down, she watched him carefully. Her eyes roamed his body and spotted the bag again. She went to grab it and sheook her head. She should wait.. She thought for a moment then decided to wait and laid down again, this time her body wrapped around him as if she were gaurding him. "Once you wake up.. I'll go hunting" She muttered to the sleeping form, her tail moving to rest on his stomach

While Talion was unconscious some would assume he would enter a world of dreaming, or maybe even his subconscious, but contrary to those fancy beliefs.... it was just pitch fucking black. He wasn't really... anywhere. Wasn't really aware of himself either. He just.... was. It was late in the evening, where the sun on the horizon went from the bright, stark yellow it usually was to a more vibrant orange hue among the clouds. When Talion finally began to rouse from his impromptu nap he was rather..... comfortable? He blinked, slowly, to realize he had a distinct lack of the sore pain he expected to have after being bludgeoned into unconsciousness. Also there was..... a weight on his chest? Talion tensed, for a brief moment, thinking that maybe he had been captured before he glanced around... and noticed Echo curled up around him. Her tail laying on his chest.

This made him blink, then blink some more, before his eyes traveled up her crimson tail to her wide..... naked.... hips. Talion's eyes widened and he flushed immediately, suddenly noticing that aside from a purple wrap of cloth around her large breasts that the snake-girl currently holding him in her coils was completely naked. Giving an awkward cough Talion would softly scratch Echo's tail, trying to wake her up since.... well.... getting out of her coils was going to be even more awkward than just trying to wake her up. In truth, it was very comfortable, in fact.... Talion found himself yawning softly despite having been knocked unconscious. Almost without thinking he found himself stopping his soft scratching of her tail before he could disturb her. No-one would be upset with him for wanting to cuddle with a beautiful snake girl who had, he supposed, both been saved by him AND saved him. Could they?

Talion shrugged, before relaxing, and simply enjoying the closeness. His eyes closing as he tried to remember what she had told him when he thought he was simply going crazy. Only to earn a soft chuckle that his current situation was so weird that he thought a time he where he was sure he was going crazy was 'simple'. She had said her name was Echo, which, he had to admit was a cute name for a shape-shifter. Which made him think some more. Glancing at her, Talion couldn't help but wonder why she would want to change herself when she was this.... pretty? Exotic? Hell he knew a LOT of people who would gush over someone like her and pay her money just to SEE her. Assuming, of course, this was her true form.

Shrugging to himself after a few moments of resting and contemplating Talion went back to scratching Echo's tail, this time harder and more noticeable as he spoke. "Hey uhhh... Echo was it? Do you care to maybe let me go so I can stand?"

Echo slept through the afternoon and late into the evening. Her body heated as she rested, healing itself. As she slept she didn't dream much just, little scenes here and there of different things. Her tail wrapped more around his body as she slept, trying to get comfortable. She twitched slightly as something scratched her tail but settled when it stopped.

She felt the scratching again but harder and she roused awake, a soft mon escaping her mouth as she came to. Her eyes blinked open and she stared at the man in annoyance when the scratches stopped. But as he spoke she lifted her tail up and off him. She pushed herself up and slithered to wear her tops were. She changed forms again, her tail splitting into two and becoming legs. Her pale legs were slim and long with patches of crimson scales. She faced the wall of the hut, her behind facing him. Bending down, she grabbed a pair of shorts and slipped them on, buttoning them up. She turned an faced him, a soft smile on her lips.

"How ya feeling... What's your name?" She walked over to a pale of berries and grabbed some for him. "This is all I have until I can go hunting." She explained, combing her finger through her hair. She didn't have any modesty because she didn't notice his reaction to her nearly naked upper half. "Thanks for saving me..Is there anything I cn do to repay you? Stay with you?" She suggested, sitting down next to him. Her hands went up into her hair and started to comb it out.

She looked over at him and smiled, her ruby eyes sparkling slightly. "Please? I'd love to hang out with you. You're a lot of fun.'" Echo picked off one of his berries and ate it happily.

Talion grunted softly as Echo moved her tail off of him, stretching his body out in relaxation as he stood. Arching his back and extending his arms toward the sky as he gave another yawn, doing his best to wake up and shake off the, admittedly comfortable, snuggling of the snake-girl. As Echo moved away Talion watched her, about to say something when she shifted forms, and bent her naked lower half down right in front of him. Unintentionally displaying herself for him. Talion went dead silent... and simply stared. He knew it was probably uncalled for, and that she obviously didn't have any sense of modesty, but still the sight of her shapely, scaled-patched butt being presented to him was incredibly arousing.

Even though he really wanted to keep staring Talion looked away before Echo turned to him, pretending to be studying her home until she spoke. He really SHOULD have expected the small barrage of questions she fired at him, and he really couldn't help giving a sheepish smile as she mentioned him saving her. Rubbing the back of his head awkwardly as he shrugged "Ahhh.... don't mention it, really and it's Talion." As Echo sat beside him and asked to be able to adventure with him Talion chuckled and shrugged again. "Well you're pretty unique yourself Echo, I don't think I've ever seen a shape-shifter before... at least.... if I did I didn't KNOW they were."

Talion idly munched on the berries she offered him, smiling softly at her before humming. "Well, if we're going be travelling together I think we should know a little about each-other don't you? I'm a Gem-Mage... ermm.. here lemme explain..." Talion unties the little pouch of gems from his hip and sets a few out in front of Echo on the ground, a square emerald, a hexagonal ruby and a diamond cut in the shape of a pyramid. "You see, each gem transmits a different kind of magic. Like this emerald here..." Talion picks it up, then uses the sharp edge of the gem to cut his own hand, blood pooling in the wound before he then crushes the gem in said hand. A pale green light emanating from his clenched hand and, when he opens it, his wound is completely healed. "See? Rubies tend to react well to transmitting fire and pyromancy, as well as increasing the physical capabilities of the caster and diamonds focus on raw arcane magic and rarer cuts can even mess with gravity."

Echo watched Talion as he pulled out several gems. Her eyes shone with an excited light and Echo sat up, leaning closer. Those Ruby eyes widened when he sliced his hand open and she gasped softly. Echo watched with wonder as a green light shone from his hand when he opened she grabbed him by his wrist and looked his hand over. "There's no scar..!" She reached out with her other hand and traced her fingers lightly along his palm.

She listened to him closely as he finished explaining and she relaxed, lowering his hand. Her stomach growled and she smiled at him as she "How does a deer sound for lunch?" She asked him as she started to chang forms. Her body cracked as she fell to all Her legs became hind legs anher feet and handshands became large paws. A long thin tail whipped into appearance. Her facee elongated and becamsnout.

She looked a him, large red eyes the only way real. She had become a large black panther. She sat back on her haunches and stared at him, waiting for a response.

Talion couldn't help but the small chuckle that escaped him as Echo looked his hand over, the light tracing of her fingertips over his palm tingling softly, and he could only smile at her and nod. "Mhmm, none at all. Magic." He said, wiggling his fingers for emphasis. "But, unlike some people think, it has rules." Talion began putting the gems back in the bag at his hip before he noticed Echo begin to change forms, and Talion waited and watched her shift before he decided to answer. "That sounds great but ummm... just be careful alright?" Talion stood and walked to the exit of her literal treehouse.

Talion reached over, idly scratching along Echo's back, and gave her a smile. "I'm going to see if I can find any mineral deposits nearby, find more gems, cut them, make magic... basically." He shrugged idly. "So... if something happens I won't be around to help." He warned, ruffling the spot between her ears. "I'll be back in about a half-hour." He told her, giving her a small wave as he began to walk, and pulled a pearl from his bag of gems, and began to channel energy through it while holding it in his palm. The pearl began to slowly roll in a certain direction on his palm before stopping completely and he huffs a soft breathe. "Well... it's either a small deposit or far away...." Giving a shrug Talion began to walk, heading off into the forest with a pearl in his hand.

As Talion walks deeper into the forest it isn't long before he comes across the source of his magic's pull, and nearly falls right into it. An old sinkhole, old enough to have had the ground solidfy around it and the sediments at it's base form into a few gems, yawned open the ground a good four feet across in front of him. "Well... that's not what I expected....." He murmured, looking around briefly. "Now how to get down there....."
