She dissapeared very quickly. That was expected, since the forest was her home. Adventuring types like him never had the luxury of terrain advantage, since they travel all the time. Nivek sighed and undid his cloak, laying it on the ground as a blanket to sit on to prevent his clothes from getting dirty. That, along with a pillow that appeared to have seen better times, was all he had to sleep with.
His build was strong for a medium size human like himself. Wandering the world all the time and getting into fights had refined and developed his muscles almost to their peak, but compared to the rest of his kind there were still much large humans then he was. He wore leather that covered his entire body, and pieces of chainmail hinted that it had been embroidered into the leath to reiforce it. He carried two swords, a short sword held at his waist and a large, two handed claymore strapped to his back that he miraculously hid within his cloak. A Oak-crafted long bow was also strapped to his back, along with a quiver holding at least 50 arrows or so.
Nivek took off all his weaponry and laid it down on the grond on his cloak, which as I mentioned before became his blanket for the moment. Afterwards he started digging a hole into the ground so he could build the fire in it and not risk setting the forest on fire.
