Alexia was in and out of the grociery store fairly quickly. An hour later she returned home and pulled into the garage that led straight into the kitchen. Shutting off the car, she got out and began carrying the bags of groceries into the kitchen where she sat the bags down. Finally she had everything inside and began working on putting everything away.

Henry smiled as he put all the tools away and locked the shed up. The last two jobs to do in the garden were the rest of the paving and the patio area. They could wait until the breaks between his first and second semester. Sighing a little he did not know what time it was nor had he even cared as he wiped his boots before leaving them in the laundry for now. Having another pair upstairs was good as he took a glass of juice and went upstairs to his room. Not long later he heard his mother come home and groaning slightly he knew his shoulder would need a few days rest.

Alexia hummed softly to herself as she put all the food away before throwing out all the bags and she headed upstairs. Entering her bedroom, she tossed her bag onto the bed before heading down the hall to Henry's room to see if he was there. Knocking on the door, she peeked her head into the room and smiled at him. "Hey." she said softly before stepping into the room a little.

Henry groaned once more as he sat up in bed, he was not looking forward to trying to explain anything to her. Last night was already playing on his mind so much as he took two of the pain pills. Hearing her footsteps then words his eyes met hers as he watched her enter the room.

"Hey there, how did shopping go"

She smiled at him as he sat up in bed and she moved over to the bed, sitting down on the end of the bed. "Eh, the usual grociery trip. I made sure to stock up on things that we would need." she said to him. She folded her hands in her lap and she smiled warmly. "Henry... about last night. I really want to thank you." she said softly. "I haven't been able to relax at all and I really needed the whole..... movie with some wine followed by the massage."

His eyes watched her move across and sit down on the bed. Listening to her words he half feared something else to be said but it had not. Smiling a little and reaching with his good shoulder for his juice he took a few sips before putting the glass back down. Lightly touching her hands as his eyes met hers he spoke.

"I am glad i was able to help relax you and yes i know these are stressful days for us both"

She looked down at his hand resting upon hers and she smiles a little wider. Turning her hand over, she gently grasped his hand while caressing the back of his hand with her thumbs. "I want you to know that if you ever need to talk or if you just need someone to be there for you, I'm here for you and I always will be." she said softly.

Henry felt her hand move to gently grasp his, listening to her words he sighed softly not sure how long he would be able to hide the fact he had hurt his shoulder. Smiling into her eyes more he spoke.

"Thank you for that and will remember it"

Alexia smiles at him and she pats his hand. "l know you will." she murmured. Releasing his hand, she slowly laid down on his bed and she stared up at the ceiling of the room, her hands resting on her belly. "Henry... was I a good mother and a good wife?" she asked him with a sigh.

Henry listened to her first few words before watching her lay down on his bed and stare up at the ceiling. Her question spun him for several minutes, he could not believe it had even been asked as his hand moved to lightly rest on her side. Fingertips traced down to her hip and he was tempted to tickle her.

"You were an awesome mother to me and dad always said he had a loving and supportive wife by his side. Why question yourself like this"

She shook her head with another sigh. "I don't know." she said softly before gasping when he ran his fingers along her side. "I just.... I should of pushed him into going to see another doctor." she murmured. "I should of continued to nag him until he relented but he just kept saying he was fine."

Hearing her gasp he let his fingertips trace her hip for a few more seconds before resting his hand on his stomach. Listening to her words he shook his head and sighed.

"You can not keep beating yourself up over this. I would do the same thing as him, does that make me a bad person too"

She slowly closed her eyes while shaking her head. "I know... I know. I'm sorry." she whispered before turning onto her side. "I just feel guilty, I guess." She tucked her hands beneath her head and gazed up at him again with a small sad smile.

Noticing the shaking of her head and hearing her words he sighed again as their eyes met. Reaching his hand out he lightly touched her leg this time and moved but grimaced hoping she would not have noticed.

"You have nothing to feel guilty for. He was a stubborn man at times just like i am"

She felt him touch her legs and she moved her leg out of his reach, a little uncomfortable with him touching her there. "Yes, you are stubborn. Just like him." she said with a fond smile. "But usually when you're stubborn, its about something that you're right about."

Feeling her leg from out of his reach he moved up a little more on the bed and just sighed again. He knew she was right as he groaned again and reached for his juice. This time nursing it in one hand between taking a few sips of it.

"Yes i am aren't i"

"Sometimes too much like him. You got most of your looks from him and your personality is alot like your fathers as well. But there are some quirks that you got from me." she said with a grin. She closed her eyes again as she stretched with a soft groan.

Listening to her words he could not help but laugh a little. Hearing her groan he put his glass back down after finishing it and spoke softly.

"Did you hurt yourself today with that shopping"

She shook her head. "No... I don't think so." she said softly. "I don't think I've hurt myself." Opening her eyes again, Alexia looked over at Henry with a smile before running her fingers through her hair. "So... what do you think about taking a dip in the pool out back?" she asked him. "It's hot enough out side and I don't think that there's anything else we have planned to do today."

Henry noticed the shaking of her head and listened to her words. Moving only slightly on the bed he felt his shoulder twinge a little more.

"Mum sounds a good idea for you but not for me "

She looked at him a little confused. "Why not? I thought you loved swimming." she asked him, moving a little closer to her son. As she moved, her shirt moved up a little and showed off her stomach and she crawled up to sit next to him.

The pretense he had tried to build up he could not cover any more as he watched her move up closer to him. Eyes had briefly noticed the glimpse of her stomach as he spoke.

"Yeah i love swimming but today i hurt my shoulder finishing up the vegetable patch so just wish to rest it for a few days if i can"

She looked up at him in concern when he said that he had hurt his shoulder. "You hurt yourself?" she asked in concern. "Will you be okay?" She placed a hand on his arm and looked him in the eyes as she waited for his reply.

Noticing the concern in both her eyes and voice he smiled and moved a little on the bed. His hand lightly touching hers giving it a gentle squeeze as he spoke.

"Yes will be fine, just no more strenous exercise for a few days"

She nodded and smiled up at him while running her fingertips over his jaw. "Okay. Will you at least come down and sit by the pool to keep me company?" she asked him softly.
