Exotic Discovery...(Ghostxtiger and I)

Shizuru continued to walk with the aid of the compass to her parents large house that was located in the middle of the rain forest. It was that far from where they where so it only took a few minutes for them to arrive. "Hmmm...no one's home yet" she said as she opened the front door to see in the empty house.
 
As they came up to the house, Yuki was expecting to see other people here as well, but was a little disappointed to see that nobody else was here yet. She curiously peered inside, never before seeing such a place before. She could hardly keep herself still as Shizuru opened the door. She quickly rushed inside, looking around curiously at everything around her.
 
Shizuru giggled as she watched Yuki look around. "Are you hungry?" she asked as she made her way to the kitchen. She was hungry herself since she was out in the rain forest for quite a while. She began on some lunch for herself as she thought about what to give Yuki.
 
For a moment or so, it seemed that Yuki had completely forgotten that Shizuru was there. She was much too interested in the environment around her, that she almost went out to run around a bit right away. She turned her head slightly to look back at Shizuru, a small smile on her face. "Ah?! There's food?!" she asked, quickly moving towards her and looking up at her pleadingly. She was used to fruits and such that the scientists gave her, but she was curious to see what Shizuru would cook up.
 
Shzuru was cooking up some fish when Yuki approached her. She went to the fridge and grabbed an apple for Yuki. "Here ya go" she said, handing the fruit out to her. She figured she was used to fruits and vegetables since she lives in the forest.
 
Yuki had followed her into the kitchen, picking up the scent of the fish and her ears perked up instantly. She wanted to reach up and grab it now, but Shizuru wasn't done with it yet. She was rather happy getting the apple though. She took it and moved to a small corner of the kitchen to eat, making rather loud chewing noises as she ate with that wide grin on her face. You could tell she enjoed it a lot from her expression and her tail swishing behind her.
 
Yuki had quickly finished up her apple in a few seconds, and brought it over as Shizuru placed the fish on the floor. You could tell she was extremely delighted to be having such a meal, especially when there weren't many streams to fish in around where she lived. She quickly picked up the fish and began eating, managing to avoid the bones quite easily as she ate.
 
Shizuru looked over at Yuki and smiled widely at her. "You like it?" she asked though it was pretty obvious that she did. Just then, the front door opened and Shizuru's parents walked in along with several others. "Shizuru, are you here?" a female voice called out.
 
Yuki beamed up at her as she continued to eat, soft purrs coming from her. "Yes! It's great!" she said, easily finishing it off in a matter of seconds. It could be seen that she had taken up almost every bit of meat on the fish. Her ears perked up slightly as she heard the door open. Despite what Shizuru would think, she dropped the fish on the plate and quickly went over, peering over from the kitchen doorway.
 
Shizuru quickly cleaned up then went over behind Yuki patting her on the head. "Stay here and I'll bring them in here to say hello" she said then went out to the living room. "Mom, dad. You'll never guess what I found in the forest" she said then led her parents and two others in the kitchen to meet Yuki. They were of course shocked by the little cat girl. Shizuru's mother smiled as she approached the girl. "She's so cute" she gushed as she patted that girls head. "What's your name sweetie?"
 
As Yuki looked over, she could easily see the people that had entered. She wasn't exactly sure who they were, but it didn't matter to her, since they were all new to her. She almost went out on her own, but Shizuru told her to wait. She lowered her ears slightly, but she figured she'd be meeting them pretty soon. She waited patiently in the kitchen, tempted to look around and examine every little thing inside. She turned her head slightly as Shizuru walked in again with her parents, her mother walking up and patting her head. "Yuki." she said, a bright smile on her face. Her tail began to swish behind her once again.
 
"You are just so adorable" Shizuru's mother said as she scratched Yuki behind the ears. Shizuru's father and another male friend just looked. "hmmm...interesting" her father said. "I've never seen anything like this". Shizuru went over to Yuki. "yeah, was just walking along and she came up to me" she explained. " I see. Are you planning on keeping her?" he asked. "Well..." she said, thinking about it. She would love to keep Yuki but it wasn't fair to her if she didn't want to stay. "It's Yuki's choice" she said
 
A soft purr resided in her throat as Shizuru's mother scratched her behind the ears. Yuki really seemed to enjoy it there, and her ears twitched a bit as she continued. She could see from the corner of her eye the two males in the corner of the room. She figured they were related in some way as well. She turned back to face Shizuru and her mother as they brought up the idea of keeping her. She didn't seem to mind at all. After all, she was given good food and a great companion. "Of course!" she said, playfully licking at Shizuru's cheek.
 
"Really?" Shizuru said, overwhelmed with excitement as she hugged Yuki. She couldn't be happier that she wanted to stay. "Did she eat?" Her mother asked as she went to prepare dinner for everyone. "Yeah, she ate" Shizuru said as she kept her hold on Yuki. "You want to go up to my room Yuki?" she asked her as she loosened her grip.
 
Yuki was a little surprised when Shizuru suddenly hugged her, holding her rather tightly. Of course, she couldn't help but feel a bit happy as well, gently nuzzling against her. When she had loosened her grip slightly, she looked at shizuru with a bit of confusion. "Room?" she asked, tilting her head to the side slightly. It was only natural that she wasn't aware of what a room was. "Well, ok."
 
"Oh, right" Shizuru giggled, forgetting she wasn't talking to a normal girl. "We'll be upstairs" she said to the others then took Yuki's hand and led her upstairs to her large bedroom. She went in and laid down on her queen sized bed, letting out a sigh as she laid there.
 
A soft surprised sound came from her as she was brought upstairs, walking around on her hind legs for now as she climbed the stairs. As they walked into the bedroom, Yuki's eyes widened a bit as she walked into the large bedroom, thinking it was as big as the entire house. She moved over to the large bed, finding it very comfortable and she hopped on. She was very surprised to feel that it was very soft, much more so than on the forest floor where she would sleep. "This feels great!" she said, nuzzling a bit against the mattress a few times.
 
"Yeah, I bet it's lot softer than the ground" Shizuru said as she turned around to face Yuki. "She's just so cuteshe thought as she watched her nuzzle the mattress. "So, how long have you lived in the forest?" she asked, wondering if she was born here or was brought here by someone.
 
Yuki couldn't help but continue nuzzling against the mattress, enjoying how comfortable it was. She turned to Shizuru at her next question, not quite sure how to answer. She figured the forest meant where she used to live. "Ah, I was born there." she said, sitting on all fours now, facing her. Sometimes people would visit me though. They wore..." she paused to look around a bit, spotting a white curtain nearby. "...that." She wasn't sure about color names, or articles of clothing.
 
Shizuru thought for a moment. "They didn't where curtains. she thought so she figured she meant the color of the sheets. "Scientist" she said more to herself than Yuki since she figured she didn't know what a scientist was.
 
"Is that what they are?" she asked, glancing back to the white curtain, before looking back to Shizuru. "They came to see me every day, and they fed me and played with me." she said, her tail started to sway behind her again. "And they gave me this." she said, pointing to the small tag that they had placed on her ear. It had a small number on it, apparantly for identifying her.
 
"yeah" Shizuru said then looked at the tag on Yuki's ear. "I see. Did they come to visit today?" she asked, wondering if they will come and look for Yuki of she was nowhere to be found.
 
"Hmmm?" Yuki lay down on her stomach now, yawning softly. "No...today, they didn't come today for some reason. They usually come around the same time, but they didn't. It was lonely, so I went out and found you!" she said, moving up to shizuru's side agian, licking at her cheek once again. "I'm really happy for that."
