In the large rain forest, it would seem like anyone outside that wasn't used to the environment would fry. This particular rain forest was home to many unique creatures that couldn't be found anywhere else, so it wouldn't be strange to find a few scientists occasionally drop by to observe. One particular creature that was very interesting to scientists was a young catgirl who was one of very few found there. This particular catgirl lived alone for now, though she was in an area where it was easy to find food and shelter. Plus, the scientists would occasionally stop by to observe, bringing food as well. She was usually thrilled to see them, mainly since she was curious about them. with the time that scientists had spent with her, they found she would mainly walk on all fours, but she was able to walk on her hind legs, much like humans. Also, with their attempts to communicate, she was able to learn the human language, making her even more appealing to scientific research.

The scientists had given her the name Yuki, as well as some clothing since they had found her naked. She had been dressed with a white tanktop as well as beige khaki shorts, clothing accustomed for the hot weather. They had even placed a tag on one of her ears to track her. She didn't think much of the attention, and she didn't get to see other creatures aside from her own kind, which even then was very rare. At the time, she was resting on a large tree branch, laying flat on her back. Her chest rose and fell as she stared up at the sky, a small purr coming from her as a cool breeze came and left. The scientists hadn't come for a while and she was extremely bored at the moment.
 
Shizuru was born from a very wealthy family.Even thought she was blessed with stunning good looks and money she has yet to find companion.It's not like she hasn't tried many times to find someone special but she learned quickly that people only saw her looks and family status not her sweet kind nature or gentle soul.She was quickly beginning to think maybe she wasn't going to find her other half.


She shuffles her way though the dense rain forest after wandering off from the group.Due to her families wealth,she was able to travel thought the most exotic places that other people only dream of.She also loves to wander off and be by herself since she very use to being alone and prefers it most of the time.She leans against a tree as she silently day dreams.
 
A soft yawn caem from Yuki as she stretched out a bit on the branch. Usually the scientists were here by now to keep her company for a while, but they hadn't come yet. She figured that maybe they were around somewhere else in the rain forest, and she would have to find them herself. She was starting to get a bit hungry anyway. Her stomach growled softly as she walked around, moving at a brisk pace on all fours. Yuki stopped for a while as her ears perked up a bit. She had managed to pick up the footsteps of someone nearby. Perhaps the had finally come to visit her.

She couldn't help but feel excited at this and she quickly went off in the direction of the footsteps. She could hear them getting louder as she progressed, so she was heading straight for them. However, the only thing that was different was the scent. She wasn't sure about this person yet. She quickly moved up another tree to get a better view, seeing a young woman making her way in her direction. She tilted her head slightly at the sight of her, never seeing a female human before. She thought that it wouldn't hurt to watch, plus she might have had food. She sat on one of the branches of the tree, letting herself hang suddenly to appear in front of the woman, a curious look on her face as she stared at the woman.
 
Shizuru leaned back on the trunk of the tree as she day dreamed,her eyes closed.She was a bit of a space case and she sometime becomes unaware of her surroundings which was the case here.It also didn't help that she was tired from the long plane ride and the tread into the rain forest as well.


A glisten of sweat began to form on the girl's brow from the humid conditions of the dense forest though she was dressed appropriately for the hot weather,a white mid-drift t-shirt and light blue cargo shorts.She continues to stand there,eyes closed as her head slightly slid forward then jerked back as of she is fighting off sleep.She shifted slightly but her eyes stayed close even when her hand found her nose to scratch it.
 
Yuki stared a bit, surprised that the woman had not seen her even as she hung in front of her. She could tell that she was rather tired though, and was constantly trying to fight off her sleep. She moved back to the trunk of the tree, carefully climbing down the trunk of the tree head first. She was moving down just above the woman and came down close enough so she was breathing gently over her. She curiously leaned foward to lick at the woman's cheek.
 
Shizuru seemed at peace until something licked her cheek. She groaned out, lightly brushing her hand to shoo whatever was there away as she slowly opened her eyes. Her eyes adjusted then widened at the site before her. She jumped back fell to the ground. "W-W-W-Who are.....W-W-W-What are you?" she staggered, unable to comprehend what was in front of her as she scooted away.
 
Yuki's ears perked up suddenly as she was quite surprised at her reaction. She was lucky enough to have managed to stay on the tree. She chuckled softly as she hopped off the tree, touching down on the ground and resting on all fours. Her tail swished gently behind her as she stared at Shizuru, clearly excited to see someone new around here. "Yuki..." she said breifly. The tag on her ear had her name as well as her tag number: 4221. "Who are you?"
 
Shizuru just sat there, unable to form a sentence "Y-You can t-talk?!" she managed to say after a while. She was obviously shocked at the site of Yuki. "I-I'm S-Shizuru" she said as her body trembled since she was not sure what the creature wanted from her.
 
"Huh? Shee...zoo..roo?" It seemed she hadn't gotten a complete grasp of the language, as she had to hear some words a lot in order to pick them up. "Talk? I think so.." she said, moving over to her side, a bright smile on her face now. With someone new here, she didn't want them to leave her just yet. "Hey! Let's play!" she said, her tail swishing a bit more behind her. She gently pawed at her side, wondering if she would comply.
 
Shzuru began to relax more, now that she can see that the catgirl is not going to harm her. A small smile formed on her face as she watched the girls actions. Well, she doesn't have anything better to do and now that the initial shock was gone she thought that the girl was really adorable. "Ok, what do you want to play?" she asked as she sat cross legged on the ground.
 
Yuki tilted her head slightly as she stared back at Shizuru, almost unsure of how to answer that question. If any scientists were around, they usually tried to dangle something in front of her much like a cat. She was quite fond of hide and seek as well. "I don't know. Let's just play!" she said, suddenly pouncing on top of the woman, pinning her down on the ground as she still had that big smile on her face.
 
Shizuru sat there as she tried to think. "Well...she looks like a cat so she might..." was her thought when the girl pounced on her. She let out a shriek as the girl pinned her "H-Hey" she said as she squirmed under her then just smiled at her and chuckled "ummm....hide and seek?" she asked, deciding to just play her favorite childhood game.
 
Yuki chuckled softly as the woman under her tried to moved out from behind her. Her ears perked up slightly as Shizuru mentioned the game. She was quite fond of it since she had always played it with the scientists that had come to visit her. "Ah! I know that one!" she said, hopping off of her for now. "You hide then!" she said, pawing at her gently again. There was a lot of difficulty if she tried to hide since she knew the forest a lot better, so she would hide up in trees and such.
 
Shizuru giggled as she sat up "ok" she got on her feet and headed out to find a good hiding place. She was good at this game when she was a child but since she hasn't played in a long time, and she was in an unfamiliar place, she was very rusty in her abilities.
 
Yuki stayed in place for now, watching her as Shizuru went off to find her hiding place. She wasn't sure if se knew her way around the forest so much, so she was hoping she wouldn't get lost or run into any danger. She decided to wait at least a minute before she would go off, and that was usually how long she waited when with the scientists. After waiting, she quickly set off, looking around the area keenly, and looking to pick up any sounds coming from her. With her sharp sense of hearing, she was able to find someone very quickly.
 
Shizuru hid in a hollowed out tree. She shifted slightly, stepping on a twig then quickly shifted then turned her head and spotted a snake dangling next to her. She let out a loud shriek as she jumped away from the snake.
 
Yuki was able to pick up even the softest of sounds, and she was able to pick up a twig breking somewhere nearby. She figured that maybe Shizuru was trying to move away from her as she got closer. Her ears perked up suddenly as she heard to loud cry and she quickly made her way over. In a matter of seconds, she had spotted Shizuru and pounced on her right away. "Got you!" she said, chuckling softly. Her gaze turned to the snake that was dangling nearby and quickly went to bat at it. She knew how dangerous they were sometimes, but she was always able to defend herself if need be.
 
Shizuru shrieked again then giggled when she saw it was only Yuki. She than saw her batting at the snake "Hey, don't play with that. It could be poisonous" she said as she pulled Yuki away from it. She would feel very guilty of Yuki got bit by a poisonous snake.
 
Yuki continued to paw at the snake, not getting much of a reaction from it, but a surprised cry came from her as Shizuru pulled her back. "Aww..." she said, her ears flattening a bit, but she turned back to Shizuru as her ears perked up again. "Ah! That was great." she said, sitting on all fours as she stared at shizuru again. "What are you doing here?" she asked.
 
Shizuru giggled at the girls reaction. "Well, I was walking with my group and I just decided to go out on my own" she explained as she watched the girl sit on all fours. "So, how did you get here? Why do you have cat ears and a tail?" she asked. She still doesn't understand how a girl could even have ears and a tail. Let alone be in this forest.
 
Yuki stared blankly at her, rather interested in the fact that she was here with other people. "Ah..? So you're not by yourself? That would be weird since you could be in danger by yourself." Shizuru's question about her appearance confused her a bit. "Cat?" She had heard the word being mentioned when scientists examined her, but she never knew what it meant. "Ah...I was just like this I guess. she said, a grin on her face again. It seemed she was always in high spirits.
 
"Yeah, there are other people with me but I don't know where they are" Shizuru said as she smiled at the girl"Oh, well a cat is an animal with ears and a tail like yours" she said, pointing to the girls ears. She started thinking if she should being her back to her house since she wanted to play with the girl some more. "Would you like to meet the others?" she asked as she sat up.
 
The young catgirl tilted her head to the side slightly, debating if she should or not. If they were as nice and fun as Shizuru then she wouldn't mind in the least. "Well, will they all play also?!" she asked, moving up closer, with her face ridiculously close to Shizuru's. Her tail swished gently behind her as she was clearly interested in going along with her. "But you said you don't know where they are..." she said, seeming a bit confused.
 
"I'm sure they will" Shizuru said then leaned back when the girl got a little too close to her face "Well...yeah but i know how to get back home from here." she said as she took out a compass from her pocket. "mmmm...." she took a moment to get her bearings. "This way" she said as she pointed north then stared out, hoping that the girl will follow.
 
Yuki stood up slightly to view the compass, not exactly certain how it worked, but when he started heading off in the direction that the arrow was pointing in. As Shizuru went on, she was unsure if she should follow. After all, she had been in this area for as long as she could remember. Then again, it would only be for a little while, and it probably wasn't very far. She quickly followed after her, coming up on her ide on all fours.
