She made a noise and smiled a bit. "Yeah, you're right..~"

He chuckled softly and walked all the way to his home with her. It was very nice with monochrome color scheme; very modern for an odd beetle.
"It could certainly use a woman's touch, if I'm honest.." He smiled softly.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Oh I'm a fashion disaster, trust me.." She said, laughing a bit. "I'll try, however~"

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"You don't have to view this as a real wedding if you don't wish to." He told her, "I agreed to take you for a rather large share in his business. Disappointing how much he was willing to give me just to take you from him.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Oh, I've been a promiscuous thorn in his side for a while.." She said, sitting snd crossing her legs.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Well, if you wish to continue with such ways, you'll find I will not hinder you." He told her.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Well, I mainly did it to piss him off.." She said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"So you aren't actually a Godless whore?" He asked curiously.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Oh I did sleep around a lot, and it was a lot of fun, but if he's not around, and with uh.. Pregnancy now a possibility, it's a bit riskier now.." She said

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"True...having sex with me would be rather risky...but I'm sure if I were to come home from work and see you gone, well..." He shrugged, "I can only assume you were not satisfied with my company.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Ah, you seem like a nice guy.. I don't think I'd be able to do that to you.." She said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"How kind, I'm flattered honestly.." He smiled again with those sharp teeth.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She smiled. "Yeah yeah no problem..!" She said. Soon enough, they warmed up to eachother and the new house became a much warmer home for her. She would wake up early and cook for him, and make dinner when he came home.

"Honestly, you don't have to do this.." He said, "You're not a housewife.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"I know! But it's kinda fun..!" She said. "Do you not want me to cook?" She asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"I don't want you to feel like you have to.." He grinned, "Your cooking is rather lovely!"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She smiled. "Thank you, Cassius.." She said. The more time passed, the more the two became like roommates, but still closr.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

Cassius would come back sometimes a little sloppy, and he would admit to meeting with other lady Laurata's for sexual gratification, but it would never be out of cruelness to Lamya or because he was unhappy in their odd marriage. He was a man with needs, he said, and didn't want to come to her to satisfy them if she wasn't ready to lay with him.

She smiled and nodded. She understood, but she still felt bad. He was so kind, and had opened his home. After doing some research, she found that her offspring would be sent back home to her family to be taught and raised. So she wouldn't be clogging up the house. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad?

They enjoyed dinner together and he sighed happily, "Wonderful as always, Lamya.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Thank you, Cassius.." She said. "I was uh.. I was thinking, perhaps the next time the mood strikes you, we could uhm.. Get together..? So to speak..?" She asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

His mandibles rubbed together gently, "Like...be intimate?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

Her antennae twitched a bit. "Yes, I-I uh.. I believe I'm ready to try.. Our children will be sent away, I hope you know...?" She said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"I'm well aware.." He said gently, "It's for the best...and we can always visit them. But it's to keep our species going...we almost all died out centuries ago. Did you know that?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Yeah, my dad wouldn't shut up about that.." She laughed a bit. "I think that's why he was so mad at me.." She said. "So.. Yeah! Uh.. If you find that the mood strikes you and you wish to consummate our strange marriage, I will not be opposed to the idea.."
