Faye stood at 4 foot 8 inches, she was a growing elf having survived 64 peaceful seasons before now. She had vibrant green eyes and green hair, it was a common color for wood elves. Her hair was bound into a single pony tail by a yellow ribbon her uncle had given her many years ago after he had returned from adventuring. Faye dreamed herself to be an adventurer like her uncle although she was far too young for that for now. Instead she played the same games that all elven teens played. A childish game of hide and seek with a little more danger. They played within the underdark. It was supposed to be very safe. Dwarves and Gnomes often travelled the area and a Dwarven strong hold was nearby, no evil creature dared move around in the area.

Faye had been hiding when she had been grabbed by an Orc and a Goblin that were working together. Her friends in the background were yelling, also under siege, surprised by the attack. A massive conflict had broken out and the Dwarven stronghold was repelling a massive invasion force the outcome of the battle far from decided. She had managed to break free by feigning submission. Running through the tunnels, she quickly became lost, fleeing deeper into the tunnels rather than towards the exit. She had not been thinking straight, merely getting herself away from them.

Feeling something sharp bite her in the back, the goblin had thrown a dart laced with a strong sedative at her, it was not enough to put an elf to sleep immediately but it did make them sluggish. She needed her agility and quick and steady feet to turn the corner and avoid slipping off the edge into a deep gorge. The drugs pumping through her body stole her agility and she skidded off the edge.

Before her eyes closed and she drifted into unconsciousness she cast one of the few spells she knew how to cast. A slow fall spell. Her decent cushioned by unnnaturally defying the laws of gravity. In anycase she had saved herself a quick death, but she was now deep within the underdark with no equipment and only a wood elf sundress as a garment. Things were bad for Faye, of course she wouldn't realize how bad until she awoke.

Shub Golthgola had existed for eons. When the battles that ended in the defeat for his Old One cousins, such as Cthulhu, were being fought Shub Golthgola had wisely retreated in the face of superior forces. Unfortunately one of the minor godlings had noticed him and they battled, a battle that Shub Golthgola had not been sure it would win. In the end it had decided to drop the mountain on them both, knowing that it's amorphous shape would protect it.

The plan had worked only too well. The mountain had destroyed the godling, but not before leaving an indelible energy signature of it's demise. When his brethren had found the site of the godling's death they had erected a powerful sanctuary enchantment as a memorial. Unfortunately for Shub Golthgola it had been trapped under rock and holy enchantments for millenia now.

Only recently had tenacious digging and squirming allowed it to emerge into an underground lake, exhausted but free. Finally free. Only it didn't know how to get out. And it was HUNGRY. One or two squealing things had fallen from above in the last few months but none had survived to provide any true nourishment. The only thing to do was wait.

Sounds of mortals battling above had woken it from slumber. Perhaps food would come? Shub Golthgola began to stretch it's limbs in readiness. Finally it sensed the scream of something slightly more than mortal and then a light splash as something fell into the lake. The potential for power in this thing made Shub Golthgola nervous and careful. It must be sure that it was ready to battle this thing if necessary before revealing itself.

Slowly it extended its limbs towards the thing in the water. Already though it could taste the marvelous flavors of this thing that was slightly more than mortal.

It might have ended quickly for Faye because she had ended up face down in the water. But Shub Golthgola had seen her in the glowing light of the soft iridescent lichens that lined the walls, adding an eerie glow to the entire cavern. Long limbs had created soft currents in the water to slowly push the female thing towards the island in the center of the lake.

Tongue appendages slithered softly over her body, tasting her, probing her flesh. Madness nearly drove Shub Golthgola to consume this thing immediately. But it had always been a careful thing and more could be gained by watching and waiting. Perhaps this femal could be used. Perhaps she could become an incubator for his lesser beasts. One last pass of it tongue appendage slithered over Faye's junction between her lower limbs and then Shub Golthgola retreated to wait and watch.

Faye had never heard of the gods of old or the beings that ruled the world before hand. It was perhaps a good thing that she remained unconscious as she descended and then landed in the water, face down. She had fallen an unfathomable length. Shub Golthgola had not only made itself an escape path but it had probably been down in the darkest recesses of the underdark. It had been likely a straight nine mile plunge. Less than a mile above the tunnel dug out was the surface and freedom. Floating in the water, she was unaware of the dangers inside it nor had she been aware she had been tasted with a lengthy tongue. The only thing that suggested it was her dress which had torn some. But she could make a number of excuses for that.

Moving with the waves the being of incredible power created, she ended up at the shore not too far from where she had fallen from. Faye lay unconscious on the shore, now she was safe from drowning but she also was trapped in this underground lake. Her dress was soaked and clung to her body. It was incredible thin and was not designed to be wet, it was like silk. The garment was pretty much ruined. In her several decades of life she had never allowed a man between her legs, whilst she still had that claim to cling to something had taken to tasting her, wood elves unlike humans did not wear underwear.

Stirring after a couple of minutes. She rolled over and caught one of her shoulders on something. It was a bone of some sort. Pulling away from it she tore one her dress, one of the straps of fabric along her shoulder had been severed. It was the sound of the fabric tearing and not the constantly sound of water that woke her.

Sitting upright, she grabbed herself and held onto her torn dress as she looked around. It took her a bit of time to adjust to seeing in the dark, she could see vague things in the water but imagined that they were just fish. Within five minutes of waking up she had gotten up and found out what her situation was, or at least what she thought it was. She had fallen into the water and luckily survived and eventually been washed up onto the shore of a tiny island. She could hardly see the cavern she had fallen from so she didn't even have a direction in which she was to travel to escape, not that she could. The cavern was large, the roof was move than thirty feet above her, and in some parts far higher.

Shivering from the cold, she had nothing to make a fire with, nor had there been any wood for her to make some. She was alone, without food, without light and without the warmth of a fire. Dressed in a soaking wet dress. She was going to die. That is what she thought. Slipping the fabric from her body, she chose to go naked rather than remain in the clothes, at least then she might dry off and survive before getting hypothermia.

The taste of the slightly more than mortal creature on Shub golthgola's tongue appendage sent it into deleriums of desire. Her flavor was fresh and youthful. and most importantly... female. The creatures that had fallen down here before were males anyway and would have been of limited use. But a female? Oh the pleasures that could be had. The Shublings seeded.

Shub Golthgola set it's internal organs to work immediately while it waited for the female to wake. It created new sub-organs to produce intoxicants tailored to the genetic leanings of the female. Egg sacs were bathed in new genetic materials that would make them compatible with the females internal workings. Shub Golthgola was dreaming mad dreams of using the female to birth many Shublings. Finally it created new semen sacs that would work to inseminate it's new eggs and would work to help the female bring the eggs to term.

Aw whole batch of eyestalks were created to see the female from many angles and watch it as she wandered the island. Her perfect wood elf body meant little to Shub Golthgola. Indeed she could have been ugly and it wouldn't care. But it hoped and sent wishes to the great Elders that she was unstained. Virginal females created much food energy when they were broken for the first time.

Finally it settled back to watch her and sent tendrils through the water to get close to her. They were of various sizes and shapes. Shub Golthgola decided to see what she would do if she saw strange things in the water.

Faye sighed as she moved towards the edge of the water and crouched down. She noticed the water had movement which meant it wasn't stagnant and likely drinkable. Reaching down she dipped her hands into the water and cupped them together to gather some water before lifting it to her lips to test. It seemed ok although heavy in minerals, perhaps it was water from a Hot spring although why the water was cold did not make much sense.

She noticed a few things under the surface further out in the water but dismissed them as fish, the did not look very big from under the surface, plus her sense of sight was not too keen in the dark despite being able to see better than a human. She ignored the tentacles as she had dismissed them as fish and nothing more. Turning around she reached for her dress she had discarded and placed it outstretched on large rock formation on the island. With it outstretched it might dry a bit better and perhaps faster.

The young elf was not ashamed of her body although she would have been much more shy about revealing her body and parading it around if she knew there were things or people watching her. She would be most surprised when the tentacles came after her, horrorfied in fact. But she was not likely to put much of a fight up and its not like she could use her clothing to hinder any sort of assault like that, dressed or not dressed.

Shub Golthgola was relieved to see that the female did not immediately begin using powerful magics. It could feel powerful potential in her to do so, but perhaps this female was young and inexperienced in the use of her magical powers.

One eyestalk watched as the female crouched at the waters edge. It's perception was drawn to the junction between her legs. The slplt of flesh consumed its attention completely. Shub Golthgola knew that was the place of her femaleness. It longed to penetrate her there. Every second of delay made its hunger stronger and its patience less.

As the female cupped her hands to take a drink Shub Golthgola used one of its applicator tentacles to release some of the sensation heightening fluids into the water she would drink from. It might make the taste of it strange to her tongue but it would ease her inhibitions and make her more pliable if he gave it a little time. Soon the female would begin feeling soft tingles in her flesh that would make her think more about her femaleness.

More grasping tentacles were extruded to prepare for when Shub Golthgola would decide to act.

Faye greedily drank the water when it proved to be drinkable. She did not notice the added flavor that had been diluted into it. Thinking to her schooling she tried to think of what she could do to help herself out of the situation she was in, or at least the one she thought she was in. Most of the spells she knew were not very helpful. None of them were offensive, hardly any of them were truly defensive either. Most were just the basic utility spells.

Sitting down by the water, she parted her legs for some unknown reason, normally she sat with them together. Her inhibitions easing up. Laying back on the ground, her knees were bent upwards and her feet planted on the soil. "Why me?" she said to nobody. She had wrongly assumed nothing lived down here, the skeleton she had torn her clothes on looked like it was in a similiar situation as herself. She had thought it had starved or died from hypothermia. "Why couldn't I have gone an done this after the end of the year"

She would have been 65 then and taught new spells, such as flying or spider climbing. Either of those spells would have allowed her to escape this tomb she sat in with relative ease. Of course there was something hidden in the lake, had she known those spells the monster might have stopped her from doing such. Still she was unaware of its presence. She remained in her laid back position. There truly was nothing she could do. Just sit and wait for the unlikely chance of help.

Shub Golthgola could sense that the pheremones were doing their work. Soon this female would be more pliable. Already it could see that she was sitting with her femaleness uncovered, her legs spread. It knew that soon her body would be reacting strongly to the juices flowing into her.

Slowly it extended it grasping appendages. It waited for her to be staring into the water with unseeing eyes. It knew that her situation was hopeless and she was realizing it too. Her mind must be coming to grips with that even now and soon she would be so much in her head that she would not sense Shub Golthgola until too late.

The waiting seemed to take an eternity. Patience began to ebb, but then the moment came. Her eyes unfocused and Shub Golthgola struck.

Two grasping tentacles erupted from the water to snake around her ankles and squeeze.
