Faye stood at 4 foot 8 inches, she was a growing elf having survived 64 peaceful seasons before now. She had vibrant green eyes and green hair, it was a common color for wood elves. Her hair was bound into a single pony tail by a yellow ribbon her uncle had given her many years ago after he had returned from adventuring. Faye dreamed herself to be an adventurer like her uncle although she was far too young for that for now. Instead she played the same games that all elven teens played. A childish game of hide and seek with a little more danger. They played within the underdark. It was supposed to be very safe. Dwarves and Gnomes often travelled the area and a Dwarven strong hold was nearby, no evil creature dared move around in the area.
Faye had been hiding when she had been grabbed by an Orc and a Goblin that were working together. Her friends in the background were yelling, also under siege, surprised by the attack. A massive conflict had broken out and the Dwarven stronghold was repelling a massive invasion force the outcome of the battle far from decided. She had managed to break free by feigning submission. Running through the tunnels, she quickly became lost, fleeing deeper into the tunnels rather than towards the exit. She had not been thinking straight, merely getting herself away from them.
Feeling something sharp bite her in the back, the goblin had thrown a dart laced with a strong sedative at her, it was not enough to put an elf to sleep immediately but it did make them sluggish. She needed her agility and quick and steady feet to turn the corner and avoid slipping off the edge into a deep gorge. The drugs pumping through her body stole her agility and she skidded off the edge.
Before her eyes closed and she drifted into unconsciousness she cast one of the few spells she knew how to cast. A slow fall spell. Her decent cushioned by unnnaturally defying the laws of gravity. In anycase she had saved herself a quick death, but she was now deep within the underdark with no equipment and only a wood elf sundress as a garment. Things were bad for Faye, of course she wouldn't realize how bad until she awoke.
