Welcome to Atlantis Academy! (Lia && Chokuro)

"No. Not from me. I followed Rune's footsteps it seems and he followed us home." Basically. He looked over at the class and then began to teach, going from one side of the room to the other and he then paused at the front, telling them to go and read at one of the books. He then turned to Rylee and leaned over to him. "At the end of the reading, you can leave, please."

He pouted. "But I'm BORED!" he cried softly. Rylee pouted a little more and huffed before standing and leaving the classroom. He spent the rest of the class period roaming the hallways, sending a few stray students back to class.

The rest of the day was just as boring, mainly because he was giving a test in his classes and it left little room for large explosions or melted tables or green skinned children.

When the class ended, a timid leaf-green-haired boy stepped up to the desk and set the paper onto his desk. He stared at the other before he bit his bottom lip. "Professor Rylee, sir... I was hoping you could help me." Saga was a mediocre student. He did the work, he studied, but it never seemed to click with him. He was a good-looking boy. He had a slender frame. His hair went to his ear in messy waves. He had bright purple eyes.

Looking up, the redhead smiled at the boy. He'd always admired his looks, and had always felt bad that he couldn't teach the material so that he could understand it. "Of course, Saga," he answered, straightening the papers and putting them on top of the pile from the other classes. "What's giving you the most trouble?" he asked, sitting back in his chair.

"Um... Everything." He admitted and bit his bottom lip a little. He sighed softly and then leaned over to point out the problems they just had to solve. "This one I ... I don't know how to get from x to b and ... I do not do well with science or math, least of all when they are combined." he sighed softly, eyes closing a little before he looked down at the problems once more. "Do you think you could possibly become my tutor?" He bit his bottom lip, freckled nose wrinkling as he realized and finally officially admitted that he needed help with... everything. "I um.. I need a tutor for other things too , but I really... need to get help in your class... so... if you do not mind, I would really be honored if you helped me."

Rylee gave a soft smile as he looked at his watch. "Why don't you get to your next class and come see me tomorrow after classes?" he suggested, taking Saga's test and setting it aside from the rest of the papers he had piled on the corner of his desk. "We'll figure out something then, yeah?" The redhead also wanted time to rifle through the kid's records to see just what amount of work he was signing up for.

"Okay. Thank you, sir"

The next evening, Saga came up to the room and knocked, arms wrapped around his form while he waited for the other to answer. His eyes traveled over the door before he sighed softly. He did not really know what to expect from this. He just wanted to get good at this silly thing! He hated that he could not even.... grasp the topic enough.

Rylee had set up a study station at one of the desks, with his chair pulled up to the front of it. Calling for his student to come into the room, the redhead smiled at him while the other took his seat. "Okay," he started right away. They had a lot of work to do. "So I think that the best thing for us to do is start at the beginning, yeah?" he asked, taking his own seat. "From the looks of it, you never grasped the basics, which will make everything else look like Latin to you. Why didn't you ask for help sooner?" he asked, opening the book and looking through it for a pretty simple problem set.

Saga nodded, sitting and looking at the pages. "Well... I thought I did. Then the class went faster and I lost track and then... it just .. did not seem bad at first." He bit his bottom lip and then looked up at the professor. "I am bad, aren't I? How badly did I do on the test?" He asked, trying to look over at the tests to try and see how horribly he had done. He really was terrible, wasn't he?

He laughed a little. "Of course the class went faster. I thought everyone understood!" Why would he have slowed down if they all grasped the concepts? "Well, yeah, you're doing pretty poorly," he admitted. "But we can fix it! Or...well, most of it. There isn't much time left in the semester and you can't re-take the tests... BUT! I can help you understand this semester so you have a fighting chance next semester!" Rylee smiled at him and placed the book in front of Saga. "Right then! Lets get to work."

Saga nodded, looking at the book and sighing some more before his head lifted and he looked at the man. "Okay... Good." He sighed softly. He did not really want to repeat a grade. He would not mind seeing Rylee more, but he really did not want to repeat the whole grade. Though, he probably would wind up doing that he was sure. He looked at the problems and began to write them down and listen to the other's advice. He was already feeling a little better. The man just walking him step by step was good enough.

He sighed at the end of the lesson and looked over at Rylee. "Thank you... Um... How can I help pay you back for this?"

He laughed a little. "You're cute," Rylee answered, closing the book and putting it back on his desk. "Even if the answers I had were not inappropriate for a teacher-student relationship, I couldn't answer that because my best friend is no longer the headmaster at this school." The redhead hopped up onto his desk, looking at his student. "We'll call it even if you can manage a C on the final, okay? We'll work each night to help you."

Saga blinked a few times, staring at the other while he tried to decipher what he had said. Soon, he shook his head and looked up at him with a smile. "Oh. Okay." He sloly stood up and walked over to the other, leaning over to quickly kiss his cheek before leaning back. "Thank you. Um.. I'll see you tomorrow then." He bowed his head then turned to go off to his dorm. He sighed. He felt like his head was going to explode! There was so much that he had to do and so much he had learned. Ugh!

He blinked at the kiss before hopping down. "Right! Tomorrow!" The redhead grinned at the student and herded him out of the room before he said something stupid and gave Incubus a reason to kill him. Once his classroom was empty, Rylee sat at his desk and let his head fall forward with a dull thud on the desk and a groan. Why did he always fall for the students? It took a few minutes of self loathing before he got enough energy to clean up the rest of the classroom and head back to his apartment.

A couple months passed and Saga was doing a lot better. He was improving more and more. He had gotten a C on the next test, then a C+ then a B then B- and his most recent test was an A-. Taking the test, he bounced on his feet and skipped over to where Rylee was. He waited for the other to be alone before he jumped onto him. His arms wrapped around his shoulders and he gripped him tighter. "I got an A! An A- but an A!" He gripped him tighter, eyes closing and he buried his face into the man's neck. "oooh! TYhank you. Thank you! thank you SO very much!!"

Rylee had seen the improvement in Saga's grades, and was proud of him. The redhead pushed his student further and further in their study sessions, continuing them until the final test of the semester. Laughing, he hugged Saga tightly before replacing him on the ground and smiling at him. "You did wonderfully!" he answered, ruffling his hair a bit. "But now I expect nothing less than A's all next semester from you!"

"Yes! I plan to." He smiled, hands resting on his cheeks as he took in a deep breath before letting out a relieved sigh. He looked up at him, back straightening a little. He took a hold of the front of his shirt, tugging the fabric a few times before he leaned back, biting his bottom lip a few times. "Um. Rylee... Now that... Our last test happened and we'll be getting new teachers and stuff soon... so... Would you be willing to go on a date with me?" He asked, eyes lifting to look at the other and he bit his bottom lip some more. "I know it's unlikely and silly to ask but um... I just... wanted to ask...."

"Oh..." The redhead reached forward and took Saga's hands, replacing them at his sides. "Sweetheart, I would. Honest. But...you're still a student here. And I'm still a teacher. We can't..." Though with Incubus sleeping with Acheron, he didn't really see why not, but Rylee felt less comfortable dating a student now that Nikkos wasn't the headmaster. "When you've graduated, then come talk to me, yeah?"

Saga blinked a few times, looking at the man. HIs heart sank a little bit as he stared at him. He bit his bottom lip before he straightened his form some more. "Oh... Okay." He nodded and took the test with a half smile. "Thanks... Um... see you then." He turned and made his way out of the room and down the hall. At least he had an A- to his name finally. His other classes had even gotten better. He sighed softly, strolling down the hall and in his own little world. He really did not know what else to do. He was bummed. The other made sense, but it did not make him feel any better.

"Hey! HEY!" Rylee rushed after the male, finally catching up to him halfway down the corridor. "I'll keep tutoring you," he offered with a little smile. "We can't date, but we can spend time together, yeah?" Why did his students always have to be so damned gorgeous anyway? And why did they have to be students? The redhead whined a little to himself. "Please? I do enjoy spending time with you."

Saga looked up at the other and he shrugged his shoulders. "In... a bit." He said simply, biting his bottom lip as he did so. "I... I can't right now. Sorry." He turned away once more and began walking down the hall. His fingers pushing through his hair and moving the locks away from his face. It hurt. He understood where the man was coming from, and that only made things ten times worse. He hated this thing. He really did. He did not want to have to wait. and he did not want to have to keep ignoring and pushing away his feelings toward the other. But he had to. And it killed.

A couple days later, waiting in Rylee's room, a gorgeous man awaited him. His long dark-blue hair had a golden sparkle to it, imitating the night sky, and flowing down to his ankles - currently in a braid. His eyes were a bright yellow and his skin looked as if the moon's essence seeped into his pores, pale ivory with a slight glow. Raylin played with one of the pencils in the room, toying with it and trying to be patient as he waited.

He gave a little pout. It wasn't his fault that Saga was a student and he was a teacher! But Rylee knew that going after him wasn't in either of their best interests, and so with a whimper he returned to his office. He'd closed the door and made it half way to his desk before realizing there was someone else there, and it took the redhead a minute to process just who it was. "What are you doing here?" he questioned, surprised. He hadn't seen Raylin in a very, very long time... Since before he knew Nikkos, even. He walked over and poked the other's chest, whimpering when he realized that the man was still in perfect shape.

Raylin perked up and shook his head a few times. "My Rylee-senses were tingling." he stated, pulling the other onto his lap, arms wrapped tightly around his form as he looked up at the man. "And I have not seen you in decades. I took some time off to come visit. I think the priests can handle a week without their god." He shrugged and leaned up to kiss his cheek. "What's wrong?" he asked, leaning back into the chair with his eyes staying to the other.

Rylee huffed. "How's...how's...whoever you left me for?" The redhead pouted further, though he settled himself in Raylin's lap, pulling the braid over the man's shoulder to play with the soft hair a bit. He tried to ignore the question, but he knew that he wouldn't be able to help himself for long. He was never able to with Raylin. Finally, Rylee spilled his guts, whimpering as he got to the end of the story.

Raylin shook his head a few times. "He's happy with his wife and kids it seems." He murmured simply before he waited for the other to spill. Listening to his story, he smiled gently, kissing his forehead softly. "and you like this boy?" He asked, pulling away to look at his friend, fingers pushing through his hair to get the locks out of his face. "Do you think he is worth being an exception to the rule?"
