Welcome to Atlantis Academy! (Lia && Chokuro)

His smile widened when his hand was taken and the boy began to speak to him, even if he couldn't understand a word he was saying. Sergei lifted Panda into a seat and set a slice of pizza on it, cautioning him that it was still hot. He was quick to release it and blow on his own fingers, and hoped that the boy had gotten the point. "Pizza," he said, nodding to the food. It would be good anyway if Panda could catch onto another language.

Gabriel smiled. He was so happy. So very happy. Perhaps this would help both Panda and Sergei. He stood and walked to them, kissing his love then sitting on the other side of Panda." it's hot" He reiterated before taking his own slice and setting that down onto the plate, still beaming. He was very very happy right now.

"H--hot," Sergei repeated in very rough English. He smiled down at the boy and took a slice for himself and sat on his other side, putting a bit of cheese on his. "It's good like this," he explained with a little smile. "But try it plain first." The redhead reached over and cut the slice down the middle long ways, to make it more manageable for Panda's smaller hands.

Panda took the piece, blowing on it a few times before he took a bite out of it. He chewed for a few moments before his eyes lit up and he grinned. "YUM!" He then took another large bite out of it and was no longer really into conversation, just consumed by the food.

Gabriel laughed, shaking his head a few times. "Good." He said simply and then took a bite of the pizza himself, loving this so very much.

The night progressed rather well. Sergei learned a few more words of English while he tried to teach Panda a couple in Russian. He figured it was all lost, though, when the ice cream was brought out. The redhead scooped two scoops each for him and Gabriel, and one for the boy, adding a little chocolate syrup and sprinkles on each. He set the bowl in front of him and sat, handing Gabriel his own.

Taking the bowl, he climbed up into the man's lap, nuzzling into Gabriel and taking a spoonful of the ice cream. He squealed and giggled, nuzzling into the other and then took another bite, wiggling a few more times. He ate the bowl then practically licked the contents. He grinned some more things and then hopped down and rushed to Sergei, offering the bowl with a grin. "More?"

He watched, happy that Panda was so happy and liked his dessert. He ate his more slowly, savoring it and laughed when he asked for more. "Well, I suppose... But just tonight since it's your first night, hmm?" He reached out and ruffled the boy's hair, taking the bowl and adding three quarters of another scoop with sprinkles and chocolate syrup. Sergei handed it back to Panda and sat to finish his own. "How old are you?" he asked, once more relying on Gabriel to translate.

Squealing, Panda took the bowl then climbed back up onto Gabriel's lap He bounced a few times before he took another bite of the ice cream and then held up his hand "Five!" He stated before getting back to the ice cream. He ate the rest of the bowl then wiggled away to put the bowl in the sink. He then wiped his mouth and skipped back over, crawling onto Gabriel's lap and looking into hiw bowl.

Gabriel smiled and gave him one bite, smiling more. "And now you're done." He said, kissing his cheek softly. "We'll brush your teeth then get you into some pajamas.'

"Maybe some shopping tomorrow?" he suggested with a little smile, finishing his dessert and beginning to clean up. "You'll need clothes and a nice bed and some toys and books..." Sergei washed the dishes and began to dry them. "Maybe Incubus can paint a nice panda on the wall in your room..." he suggested, watching for a reaction. "And a tutor. He can set up a tutor so you can learn what you'll need to know before coming to Atlantis...or regular school... Whichever you want."

Panda listened to the Russian then listened to Gabriel telling him what he was talking about. He listened silently and then shrugged his shoulders a little more. "I .. I d-don't know... yet." He said and smiled some more. "Um... I g-get clothes?" he asked, quite shocked about that. He was not used to it, buth e was still very happy. Very happy!

Gabriel nodded. "You don't need to know or decide yet." He hugged him a little more, kissing his cheek. "Tonight, you can sleep in Sergei's shirt."

"Hmm? Oh yes. I didn't mean decide tonight, of course." He came and sat with a cup of tea for himself and Gabriel, fixing his own and sipping on it. "Of course you get clothes," he answered, not really surprised that the boy hadn't figured that. "A lot of them. Any kind you want." Well, it would be a lot to anyone who hadn't had them before, anyway. "And once you meet Relic, he'll make you all sorts of clothes, too, I'm sure." He smiled at the boy, happy and content. It had been a long time since they had a child to raise and care for.

The boy smiled. "Okay." He said softly and fussed with the front of his shirt. He straightened his form and then looked back at Gabriel, tugging at the front of his shirt. "CAn... Can I sh=shower?" He asked softly. "O-or take... take a bath?" He asked and tugged at the other man's shirt, really just wanting to get out and relax. Make sure this was not a dream or anything of that sort.

"Of course." Gabriel smiled and stood with hte other, taking a hold of his hand. "Maybe Sergei can get a shirt for him to use? THen tomorrow we will go shopping.'

He nodded and stood, moving to the bedroom to find a t-shirt for Panda to wear. It'd be down to the floor on him, but at least it was clean! Sergei grabbed a fluffy towel as well and set them on the counter in the bathroom before moving to set up the spare room. They'd set it up as a den, so there was a sofa for Panda to sleep on for the night. They'd move everything out and replace it with the bed and bedroom furniture they purchased the next day. He draped the sofa in sheets and a nice blanket with a pillow and set a night-light on the floor next to the outlet, just in case.

Gabriel thanked his husband and then happily let the boy wash up, though helping him when he needed. He kissed the boy's cheek as he dried him off. He took the shirt and tugged it over his head then kissed his forehead with a smile. "Let's go say good night to Sergei then you can go and sleep." He kissed his forehead again and then walked with him to the other room, letting him know which rooms were which, especially if he wanted to go sleep with them in the middle of the night.

Panda nodded and he turned to look at Sergei. Running up to him, he hugged his leg and smiled a little more. "Th-thank you." He whispered to him, gripping him some more then turned to rush into the bedroom, climbing onto the cushions, cuddling in.

Sergei smiled brightly and hugged the boy. He was happy that Panda was beginning to get comfortable with him. "You're welcome," he answered, kissing the top of the boy's head. The redhead moved into the room and knelt to tuck him in. "Do you need a night-light?" he asked. "A teddy bear? I think we still have one of Micha's from when he was little..."

The boy looked up at him and nodded. "Night-light!" He smiled, sinking into the pillows and his eyes closed and a few moments later, he was out.

Gabriel took his love's hand and looped their fingers, kissing his lips softly while they walked outside. "Exciting day, huh?" He smiled and hugged him some more.

Sighing and sagging into Gabriel, Sergei nodded and hugged his husband. "Not what I meant when I asked you out for a date," he laughed a little. The redhead nuzzled into the man's chest a little before pulling away and sitting down on the sofa, tugging Gabriel down next to him.

Sergei got up early the next morning to fix breakfast. If Panda had never had pizza or ice cream before, he was willing to bet that he hadn't had Belgian waffles, either. The redhead readied the batter and set it in the fridge, turning on the waffle iron to warm, and then sat with a cup of tea while waiting for the other two in their little apartment to wake.

Panda peaked out of the room when the smell hit his nose. His hair askew and crazy, but he looked a lot better than even yesterday. He peaked over at Sergei, slowly walking through the kitchen and clinging to the redhead's leg. His eyes fluttered up, wide and bright as he stared at what he was making, compeltely enthralled.

Smiling, Sergei greeted the boy, carding his fingers through the mop of hair. "A haircut too, I think," he laughed, making a scissors motion with his two fingers over a piece of Panda's hair. He gathered the batter and the spray so the waffles wouldn't stick and put them on the counter, and then dragged a chair over and lifted Panda to stand on it next to him. The redhead did one, spraying and then pouring some batter into the iron before closing it over. When it was done, he set it on a plate and sprayed the iron once more, but this time handed the ladle and batter to Panda, asking if he would like to try one.

He looked at the batter, eyes sparkling. HE would be able to do it! HE grinnd and took the batter, pouring... most of it onto the iron. The other bit wound up on the ground, but it still looked so yummy! He giggled and bounced a few times, looking up at Sergei. "They smell yummy." He said then paused and tapped his nose then grinned as he rubbed his belly, hoping to get the point across.

He nodded. "Waffles," he said, pointing to the one that he was now taking out of the iron and stacking on top of the other. Sergei was very taken with the little boy, especially after he'd warmed up to him. They continued to make waffles until there was a large stack, and the redhead then set the plate on the table and lifted Panda off of the chair before bending to clean the floor of the batter that had dripped. He pointed to the fridge, hoping Panda would get the hint and get butter and syrup out.

Panda looked over everything before he nodded and went off to get the butter and syrup from the refrigerator, holding them against his form while he walked to the table.
Gabriel happily leaned against the doorframe, eyes staying with the two. He had been watching them for a while. They were so cute and he was so very happy that they were getting along. Even with the language barrier. He watched the two for a bit more before he went and took a hold of Panda, lifting him up to kiss his cheek then placed him on the booster seat. He then turned to Sergei and kissed his lips. "Good morning, beautiful." He whispered and hen huffed him a bit more.

"Morning," Sergei greeted, kissing his husband. He handed Gabriel a mug of steaming tea and sat, serving a waffle to Panda and cutting it into manageable bites for him before pouring some syrup over it. The redhead also tucked a napkin into Panda's shirt to try and keep the sticky mess off of the shirt. He then placed a waffle each for himself and Gabriel, eating slowly while chattering away about what they would buy and what they needed to go shopping for later that day.

Gabriel was happy to think about what they would buy, making she us spoke in English as well so that Panda knew what they were saying. That way, he would know that they were not talking about selling him off or anything of that sort. He looked up at the other and smiled. He was so very happy right now. Panda was adorable. "oh! You should meet Micha. He isn't one of our kids, but he's Sergei's brother and he's learning English."

They finished breakfast and Sergei set to cleaning up while Gabriel and Panda showered and got ready to go out, and he then got ready. He walked out to the living room, happy, and kissed Gabriel in greeting. "Ready? You're driving this time..." The Russian shuddered a little at the thought of him having to drive, and shook his head. "We'll need a booster seat for Panda, too." He ruffled the boy's hair a little, smiling at him.
