Perking up, Loki stared at his lover critically. "Ollo, are you okay?" The brunette man moved over to the other and held his face in his hands, examining him. Something felt...off. And Loki could tell that their children were a little worried, too. They knew that their mother was more than absent minded, and had learned from a young age to not take any mishaps with names personally. This, though... This was weird. And Loki felt a little bad because beneath the worry for his husband's well being was a glimmer of joy with the knowledge that, maybe, the absent mindedness was gone...

Apollo smiled. "I am okay." He stated, kissing his lips gently before leaning back. "Why wouldn't I be? I felt a little fuzzy earlier, but I am feeling a lot better now." he smiled and kissed the other's lips. "oh! I even won today's case. It was lovely." He grinned and walked over to the kitchen, pulling open the stove and taking in a deep breath. "Mm... It smells delicious. Chicken, right?"

He had no idea what to say. This...this was not the man he'd married. But, on the other hand, if Apollo had finally found some lucidity that he had when he worked...well that couldn't be bad, right?? Loki shrugged to the three sets of eyes that were wide and watching them both. "Yes, chicken, dear. Boys why don't you go set the table. Remember your sister will be here tonight, too." Smiling, the brunette leaned up and pecked a kiss to Apollo's cheek. "Maybe you should drink some water, Apollo. If you were feeling fuzzy earlier."

Apollo smiled a little bit more. "Oh Athena. How could I forget she was joining us?" He grinned and kissed the man once more before going to help the triplets set the table. He moved around with them and then pulled Noah into a hug. "How did your math test go? Did you pass it?" he asked, looking down at him and smiling warmly.

Noah was wide-eyed and he looked at his mother. "I think I did all right. Mr Ricks seems to have gotten laid and graded easier-- Mama are you sure you're okay?"
"Yes yes! I'm so happy that you did better."

Both Logan and Ryan were staring, too. They'd never seen their mother like this, unless they surprised him at his office. Logan found himself thinking that perhaps their sister could figure out what had happened, while Ryan was just secretly glad that whatever had knocked some sense into their other had. He was always more sensitive than his brothers, and the prospect of his mother remembering his name was a nice one. But everyone else seemed so worried, and so the brunette said nothing about his thoughts and continued to set the table.

Apollo kissed Ryan's head and then hugged him once more. "How is that art project, Ryan? I am sure you got an A!" He grinned and kissed his cheek before the doorbell rang. He straightened up, standing and smiling as he waited for his daughter. "Athena!" He walked over to the woman and pulled her into a happy hug.

Athena paused. "Mama?" She asked, looking at him and then over at Loki. "Um... Dad? Did something happen to Mom?"

Smiling, he looked up at his mother and nodded. "An A plus." It was nice to have two normal parents for once. He'd always been jealous of their cousins, who had lucid parents around them at all times. And while his mother had always been fun, that didn't make up for the fact that he rarely could remember names, birthdates, and once he'd even forgotten that they'd had triplets all together!

Looking up, Loki shrugged. "He said he felt 'fuzzy' but that it passed and nothing's wrong." He was sure that whatever had made Apollo feel 'fuzzy', it would go away as the days passed and his husband would be back to his absent-minded self in far less time than anyone could guess.

Apollo grinned. "Great! I knew you were wonderful." He kissed the other's cheek before he went off and helped with dinner. He went about and soon sat down between his children, smiling a little more.

Dinner went relatively well. Apollo continued to be rather lucid and their children (minus one, Loki noticed) seemed to watch him with a critical eye. Loki, though, let the happiness that was beneath his initial worry bubble up a little bit. And why shouldn't he? It was hard work keeping up with the Apollo that he'd first met and fell in love with, and so a break would be a nice thing. How harmful could it be?

They were getting ready for bed after their children had left and Loki brought it up again, just to be sure. He was worried about his lover's health. "You're sure you didn't bump your head or anything, Ollo?"

Ollo looked at Loki and he smiled a little more. He pushed the other onto the bed and crawled onto his form, straddling his hips as he did so. "I am positive, my love." He leaned down and kissed his lips softly. He closed his eyes and pressed his hips into his. "I want you, Loki." he purred, kissing down and along his neck, nipping the flesh gently. "I did not bump my head, but you're welcome to check and see if there are any bumps anywhere."

Groaning softly, the brunette wrapped his arms around Apollo and pressed his hips forward. "I don't know, Ollo... I think I found a rather large bump..." He grinned and leaned up to kiss his husband, leading him to their bed. What little clothes they did have on were stripped off and dropped to the floor before Loki was lying atop his husband, kissing all over the man's chest and torso.

Apollo smirked and slid his fingers along his form and he smiled a little more. "Oh... That's a lump only for you." he purred, leaning up and kissing his lips happily. His fingers moving over his form and pressing into him with a soft little groan. "I love you, Loki."

They didn't get to sleep until much later that night, not that Loki was complaining. The sex had been mind blowing, even more than usual because Apollo was able to actively participate verbally...until he was too far gone, of course. Loki yawned and stretched as the alarms went off the next morning, draping himself over his husband's torso to try and ignore the clock that was still going off. "Work from home today," he muttered, pressing kisses over the man's heart. "I can play as your naughty secretary..."

Apollo smirked. "Tempting." he whispered, kissing his lips softly. He reached over him and turned off the clock. "I have court today." he whispered, kissing him once more and then pulling back. "However, I'll come home right after and can keep my work then." He kissed him again and then slid from the bed to shower and get into his suit. "We can meet for lunch. There is a break at twelve for lunch today and there is this really, really nice place near the court house. Want to try it?"

He pouted as his husband left the bed. That wasn't the answer he'd wanted, but the offer of lunch was a welcome one and he nodded a bit. "Okay. I'll meet you at the courthouse and we'll walk over together." Loki finally dragged himself out of the bed and wrapped his arms around his husband's waist. "Do you have time for breakfast?" He had to cook for the boys, anyway, but Apollo was usually running late due to his absent-mindedness. Maybe today would be different? "I'm going to make French toast.."

Looking over at the time, he smiled. "If you make it while I'm showering, more than enough time." He stated, kissing his lips softly. He then headed into his shower, pulling the other into a passionate kiss. "Love you." He whispered and then made his way into the warm water.

There was always cereal for the boys...

Loki quickly stripped and joined his husband in the shower, hands resting on Apollo's hips from behind as he kissed over the man's shoulders and neck. "We'll have breakfast tomorrow," he answered with a wicked grin and a sharp nip to his lover's neck. It didn't take him long to get Apollo against the wall of the shower, with himself buried inside of the man. "Love you so much..." The words were breathy and whispered in between thrusts, Loki's lips pressed to Apollo's the entire time.

Apollo groaned and his leg wrapped around the man's form and he happily ground into the other and he was more than happy to get ravaged by the man. He did not want to go into work. He wanted to be with him for the whole day and night, but knew he had to get going soon. With another kiss to the man, he grinned. "Okay. I have to leave before I'm late." he giggled and kissed him one last time then quickly pulled on his suit and walked into the kitchen, kissing the three's cheeks. "I love you three. I will see you tonight."

He gave a little whine but nodded and allowed his hold on Apollo to drop so that the man wouldn't get in trouble with the judge. The kids were off to school quickly, which left Loki enough time to throw their sheets in the laundry and get dressed for his lunch date with his lover. Usually, the brunette would nanny for a few families in the neighborhood, but today was his collective day off from everyone and he was glad for it, because it meant he could quickly clean the entire house before the boys got home from school after lunch and he wouldn't be late meeting Apollo.

It was a short walk to the courthouse, and Loki sat on one of the steps to wait for Apollo to exit the large building.

Apollo grinned and made his way to his love. Arms wrapping around his shoulders and he hugged him. Kissing his cheek gently, he smiled. "Hello, Loki." He whispered, standing up and holding his hand out to the other. "Let's go." He took his hand and pulled him up with a kiss to his lips. "The case is going so well. I cannot wait to tell you about it after the trial." He grinned and kissed his lips softly.

He smiled, linking their hands together as they began to walk towards the restaurant. "How are you feeling today?" he asked, enjoying their time together. "Anymore 'fuzzy' feelings?" Loki still worried about how his husband had explained the feeling the night before, and he wanted to be sure they didn't need Jupiter. He had no doubts that his husband was feeling physically okay, of course, but one last check wouldn't hurt, right? Loki smiled up at the other man and leaned in to rest his head against his shoulder as they entered the restaurant, only pulling away as they were seated. "Do you have to go back to court this afternoon?"

Apollo shook his head. "Nope!" He grinned and kissed his cheek before he headed over to the table and sitting across from his love. "But I do have to go back. Only for the closing argument." He informed him, shrugging his shoulders. "I will be home in time for dinner." He smiled at the thought and laced his fingers together as he kept his eyes to the man. "How was your day? It's your day off of babysitting so did you get the cleaning done?"

He pulled a face. "You sound like my mother." Loki didn't answer the question past that and pushed forward with the conversation. "I'm going to make lasagna for dinner," he offered. "Ryan got the lead in the school play, so I thought we'd celebrate with his favorite dinner." They ordered, and the brunette played with his lover's fingers as they laid on the table together. "Maybe on the way home you can pick up a cake for him?" Loki smiled across the table, only unlinking their hands when their food was brought to them.

"He did?" Apollo grinned and could not hold in his happiness." oh Ryan must be SO happy!" He grinned and held onto his cheeks. "Yes. I will definitely get him a cake. Marble with the good frosting that he likes. And I'll even have them put some orange designs." Since that was his favorite color.

Lunch really was nice. They had a conversation, something that Loki had never truly been able to have with his husband, and enjoyed their food immensely. "Promise you'll be home for dinner?" he asked, leaning up to nuzzle along his husband's jaw as they exited the restaurant. He knew that it was getting close to the time that Apollo needed to be back in court, but he truly didn't want to leave the other man just yet.
