Zealand had been looking forward to the holidays. Lucifer was well into his pregnancy (and so was Calder), and he had a month off of classes. They'd decided to go back home to spend some time with their family, and the brunette was glad that they had. He'd enjoyed Japan, but Italy was home and he hadn't realized how much tension he'd been carrying until they walked in the front door.
That tension returned, however, when Zealand answered the door that had been knocked on not three seconds earlier. On the other side stood his father, who towered over even him, wearing that look; the look that Zealand had learned very early on never to cross, and the one he'd been grateful that Elly had been spared. "Um...yes?"
