Welcome to Atlantis Academy! (Lia && Chokuro)

It was an odd sensation, but Caden calmed when he realized that he could breathe. The blond nodded, though he was still half upside down and trying to figure out the damned tail. He felt like it would take him the entire hour just to figure it out, let alone enjoy the serenity of the underwater world like most people couldn't. Really, it only took him a few minutes to master some simple movements, like forwards, and he was following Uriel happily. "It's nice down here. Why did you leave?"

Uriel sighed softly, slipping to rest on his back while he looked around, leaning back and sinking further down with a heavy sigh now. "I couldn't handle the pressure." He admitted, rolling around a few times before turning back and looking up at his lover. "Fun fact: I'm the son of Poseidon." He smiled lightly, not quite sure how the other was going to react.

He laughed at his lover being unsure of his reaction. "Sweetheart, my family now consists of deamons, vampires, gods, the Russian mafia, angels, and Rune." Caden swam over to Uriel and kissed his mouth softly. "Your family heritage isn't going to shock me, or scare me." His lips then went to the man's neck, playfully kissing and nipping the flesh there. "What will happen if something happens to your father?" he asked, unsure. Was Uriel always in danger of having to leave him?

Uriel thought for a moment before he shrugged a little. "My little brother gets the throne." he stated, turning to look at him and smiling a little bit more. "I'm not leaving you any time soon. Dad won't be kickin' the bucket any time soon." He leaned down and kissed the other a few more times, hands sliding behind his blond locks to hold him happily. "and Rune is his own species."

"Rune likes to think he is." Caden curled into his love's arms, happy. He tried not to keep thinking that Uriel would up and leave him, but old habits died hard, and he was getting better besides. It was only times like these, where something specific was brought up, that Caden wondered if his lover would be leaving soon. "So how often can we swim like this?" he asked, very curious about swimming in the ocean...and meeting seahorses, thanks to the conversation while painting his bedroom.

Uriel thought for a while before he shrugged. "As often as you'd like I suppose... Maybe once a week defintiely if you'd like." He stated, looking down at him and smiling a little bit more. "I should bring you to Atlantis sometime." he offered, swimming a little deeper into the water and sighing contently. He really was at home in the water. But he loved being with Caden so much more than being in the water.

He smiled with that information, quite happy, really. The blond kissed the other man once more before swimming away, though not venturing very far at all. He had no sense of time and didn't want to be too far away, or too deep in the lake when his gills decided they were done breathing for him. "What's it like to be here all the time?"

Uriel thought for a while before he sighed. "Honestly? It's amazing. Not necessarily here, but in the ocean... It's gorgeous." He sighed contently, swimming a little lower before he swirled around and came up beside his lover again, grinning happily as he did so. "It's great. But there's so much to see on the earth too. There's the sunsets. The trees. The sky. The meadows. The flowers. The animals... you." He leaned toward him and kissed the male. "mainly the latter."

He smiled and returned the kiss, happy no matter where they were, really. "I guess the grass is always greener, as they say?" Caden laughed a little bit at that. "Maybe you'll just have to keep making me into a merman for a few days at a time so we can go into the ocean on a vacation." Caden smiled at the idea, not even really knowing if it was possible. It would be nice, though, if it was... "Where did you live? What ocean, I mean."

Uriel sighed softly. "Oooor I can do research to see if there's a spell that will last for a month or week. Maybe a little temporary thing for a vacation." he offered, shrugging his shoulders while he heard the question. "Mm. Atlantic. Hence the name: Atlantis." he grinned and kissed him again before swimming up toward the top, knowing the spell would wear off soon.

The thought of a different spell that lasted longer excited Caden and he nodded enthusiastically at the idea. "Yes!" He bumped his shoulder into Uriel's on the way to the surface, though, for his smart ass-ness. "Be nice. I'm in a new environment that is overwhelming every sense. My brain is not processing information the way it usually does." He poked his lover's stomach for good measure.

As the spell wore off, Caden was glad they were near the surface. He took one last gulp of air from the gills and proceeded to latch onto Uriel, their lips pressed together tightly and his legs wrapped around the man's middle.

Raphael sighed heavily as he made his way through the house and knocked on Maksim's door before he poked his head into the room with a grin. "HEY! HEY HEY HEY! Hey." he stepped inside, hands linked behind his back while he began to sway back and forth on his feet. "Soooo I've been thiiinking..." He grinned and bounced on the balls of his feet a little more. "We should do something fun! let's go on a walk. oooor have sex by the lake. Ooor do something that isn't sitting inside and watching my skin pale even more!"

Looking up at the knock to his door, Maksim barely acknowledged Raphael's presence. Instead, he looked back down to the letter he was writing, only half listening. "I've been out all week," he answered. It was the truth, and the Russian was quite content sitting at home. Despite is "profession", he was quite the homebody. It was how he had acquired so much money: he never spent it. "If you're worried about your complexion, I will buy you some spray tanning equipment." Okay, he wouldn't. But he wasn't going to give into the vampire's whims, either.

"And look like some cheap prom date?" the redhead rolled his eyes before walking over to where the man was. He looked at the work he was doing and easily decided : It wasn't important. Crawling on top of the desk, he slid into the man's lap Fingers sliding up and along his toned chest to wrap his arms around the brunette's neck. "Aren't I so much more entertaining? I promise I don't sparkle in the sun." he whispered, leaning down to nip the side of his neck softly.

Maksim growled and took a full minute to dislodge the male from his lap. "No." He deposited Raphael on the floor without much ceremony and continued his letter. He was busy, and it was work related no matter what the redhead thought. "Besides. You're a redhead. You're supposed to be deathly pale with freckles." He looked over at the other. "Perhaps I should lock you in the basement to help you along."

Raphael groaned lightly. He leaned over and rested his head against the other's thigh with a little sigh passing his lips. "That won't make anything better. It'll only make me whine more and get nasty bags under my eyes and then I'll be unattractive to you so you'll lock me in there longer with my blue balls and really... I just got out of my hole of being alone. I don't much prefer it." He sighed heavily and looked up at him. He sighed again and leaned against his thigh a little more. His eyes slipped closed and he rested against him with a shrug He would just stay where he was.

Without a thought, Maksim reached down and stroked his fingers through the vampire's hair. He was content with where they were at the moment, though perhaps after dinner he would suggest a walk around the vast property that he held. It wasn't that he didn't want to give Raphael the simple things he requested, but he didn't want to spoil him by giving them to him upon demand.

"Go start dinner," he said after a little while. "I'm almost done with work."

Raphael enjoyed the feel of the other's fingers through his hair. He smiled warmly, sighing contently and he then looked up at him with interest. "Fine. I won't put poison in it or anything." He stood up and brushed down the front of his form then his rear end and nodded. "Steaks. I feel like we need it. Or, well you do." He shrugged then walked past him to go to the kitchen and start up a nice dinner for them. Mainly him. He was just going to go with his blood packet.

Sergei whimpered softly and curled into his husband's side, burying his head into Gabriel's chest. The letters had started again. He remembered these letters from when around Micha was taken...when his father was still alive. He was scared now, especially now that Micha was back, and going to and from school, and he and Gabriel were living their lives...and now they were in danger once more. The Russian was scared, and he felt useless to be able to protect his family. Sure, he'd written to Relic (Rune still scared him), but nothing had come of it yet. With another soft whimper, the redhead wrapped his arms around Gabriel's waist and snuggled deeper.

You won't believe it... Caden was writing another letter. He tried hard to keep Raphael informed of what was going on. Really, despite deserving it, it must have been difficult for his ex to be so locked away from everything he knew. Tanner told me that Sergei wrote to Relic the other day, saying that they were getting threatening letters from the Russian mafia again. He's so worried, Raphael. He has his brother there now (the one that died... I guess Gabriel called in a few favors?) and Sergei is terrified that Micha will be taken away from him again... I just wish there was something that could be done to help them. But I guess since no one knows, really, who is sending the letters... The blond ended the letter there. He didn't want to depress Raphael with too much bad news all at once.

Raphael looked down at the letter and his brows furrowed. "HEY!" Turning on his heel, the male skidded into his... whatever-he-was's room and walked over holding out the letter. 'My family's being harassed! Well. Not all of it. I don't think Rune's capable of being harassed... but my .... whatever-the-fuck-in-law ... uncle or something... He's having issues with your whole Russian mafia!" The redhead held the letter out for the other to read it over. "He just got his little brother back! And now he's scared of losing him again and the poor thing's so damned timid I think a fly could hurt him. And the Mafia's already done a bang up bloody job on him... So you should do something. You're big and powerful and scary. Make yourself useful and make the letters stop!" He crossed his arms over his bare torso, clearly seething as he looked down at him.

Maksim looked up sharply, ready to yell and order the vampire out of his room. But the words that were being spoken stopped him, and the Russian listened completely before taking the letter and scanning it. There was a swell in his chest, but he pushed it aside to examine later and he allowed the anger to bubble up. He knew of Sergei. He knew of the entire family, really, and the knowledge of them being harassed once again made his blood boil. "Get the letters." He wanted the letters that Caden had spoken of that Sergei had written. In the mean time, the brunette moved into action, quickly heading for the door. "Call them. Tell them I will pick them up on my way to the airport. And book me the first flight out."

Raphael perked up. HE was doing it?! GOOD! He nodded a few times before turning on his heel and instantly going to the phone. First getting the tickets for the both of them - like hell he was staying here - and then he called up Relic and Tanner. Telling them quickly that things were going to be solved and to gather any letter Sergei sent and even telling them to call Sergei and tell him to get the threatening letters ready. Oh. He was efficient when he wanted to be.

Rushing after the other, he skidded to his side and held out his keys - that he made sure he had before he could rush off with out him. "I'm going with you and you can't stop me." he stated, moving into the passenger's side and impatiently waiting for the other.

He raised his eyebrow at the other, about to argue. But they were wasting precious time. Instead, he took the keys and started the car before stopping to look at Raphael again. "At least go get dressed." Maksim rolled his eyes. "There are proper clothes in the spare bedroom upstairs. And you have my word that I will not leave without you." Unless the vampire took too long. "And get yourself a few packets of blood...just in case." Though he suspected there would be plenty of blood for Raphael to feed on in the coming days...

Raphael rolled his eyes. "Relic's giving me a goodie bag. Now GO!" He shot the other a glare as he tapped his foot impatiently. "we're wasting sweet time with you underestimating me. Now skidaddle!" He did not take his eyes off the other for a second until the car was moving down the road. He was unsure why Maksim was so passionate about this, but he did not care. Sergei and Gabriel did not deserve this at all. His brother was a great man. Wonderful. He did not deserve to be harassed, and his husband was an even better man. Which said quite a bit about Sergei.

Maksim wasn't sure what a goodie bag was in this context, but he wasn't about to spend more time arguing. Sighing, he sped out of the driveway and to the villa that he'd initially picked up the vampire in. From there he followed Raphael to the opposite side of the house and he banged strongly on the door several times.

Tanner was fast in action after the call. He'd gathered the letter and sent Relic off to pack for both of the men who were on their way. The blond knew that if they were leaving right away, neither had packed anything. The blond reminded his husband to pack pairs of pants for the stranger who was going to help their family. From Calder's descriptions, Maksim didn't seem the type to wear some short skirts and heels...

He answered the door and ushered both men inside, giving Raphael a raised eyebrow. "Serves you right."
