â??I probably shouldnâ??t be doing thisâ?¦â? Luna thought as she looked around for any stray guards that were on the side of the castle. She had been warned not to leave her quarters at night, but she was just so sick of being in the castle. She was on her balcony and she had the perfect opportunity to climb down the ivy and roam free. However, she was worried that something would go wrong. â??If I keep hesitating like this Iâ??ll never be free. Iâ??ll be stuck inside the castle all my life.â? Despite her words, she went back into her room and then closed the window doors. She headed out of her chambers and then walked down to the first floor, seeing guards everywhere. One had told her it was best to stay in her room, but she refused.

She had always been stubborn. No one could ever tell her what to do if it didnâ??t feel right to her. She wandered around some more before appearing in the royal garden. It was outside, but she still felt trapped because it was still in the castle. â??I just want to leaveâ?¦â?

It had been almost three months now. A kidnappning to disrupt the entire kingdom and drive the royal family into despair. For three months, Blaine had been devising a plan to kidnap the only daughter of the kind and queen. His reason? Money never hurt anybody, the fame that would swarm around him after pulling off such a crime would make him infamous, and the princess didnt look half bad either. Blaine had looked at every possible angle, looked into the lifes of each and every guard, where they were supposed to be when on duty, when they were able to leave and how devoted they were to the royal family. But tonight was the night that Blaine would finally make his move.

Moving through the deserted streets he let his cloak cover most of his face, expect for his chin and mouth, and all of his body. The only thing that illuminated the night sky was the bright white moon that hung lazzily overhead the town. Making his way to the castle he pressed his back up against the wall and looked both ways making sure nobody was around. Pressing his foot against the lowest brick, he gave it a swift kick and it moved slightly. It was possibly the only cement brick that hadnt been secured snuggly against the others. Quickly falling to his knees he pressed the stone forward and crawled in after it. When he was inside the castle walls he turned around and placed the stone back where it had been before, making it seem like nothing had changed at all. Looking around he looked up at the giant castle that loomed overhead. "Now for the tricky part..." He whispered to himself as he slowly made his way forward. He had to avoid the guards and find the princess without anybody getting wind of him. He would surely be hung if he was found sneaking around inside the castle at night.

Blaine had only recently begun to think of kidnapping the princess. Up until now he had kept to stealing money and family heirlooms that held great worth. His crimes had become slightly famous and their was a price out on his head but so far he had never been caught. But those petty crimes had become boring to him and such is the reason for wanting to try a crime such as this. To test his own skill.

As he moved stealthily from bush to bush, tree to tree a strong smell of flowers caught his attention. No doubt the royal garden was nearby. Surely their would be a way in nearby the garden. Following the scent of the flowers he found his way to the rows upon rows of flowers. It was then that he set his eyes on the princess. Ducking down quickly he eyed her from afar. He was surprised to see her out especially this late, even if it was inside the castle. This was undoubtably the best chance to snatch her, before she entered the castle again. Looking around he picked up a small stone and tossed it towards the wall slightly out of the light and away from the door, closer to him. An easy distance for him to make his move.

Luna sighed a bit and then heard something off in the distance. "Nobody should be in the garden this late..." She said quietly. She got up and then began to look around, going in the exact opposite direction that his location was in. "Maybe I was just imagining things." She said quietly when she found nothing and went to the wall that served as a fortress, pressing her hand against it. She wished she could climb it and go, but she didn't have the guts to do it.

Watching her walk away from him he scowled and spat at the ground. Following after her incredibly quietly he got closer to her once more. Deciding that it was now or never he slowly crept up behind her. Reaching into the side of his cloak he withdrew a single dagger. With one quick movement he was behind the princess, the dagger to her throat and his hand on her mouth. "If you scream, I promise you you won't live to see the sunrise." He hissed into her ear. Without wasting any time he began to pull her back towards the rock that he snuck into the castle with.

When she felt the dagger at her throat she nearly screamed until he placed a hand on her mouth. She went pale when he made a threat upon her life. So she exhaled as he pulled her along with him, keeping herself calm. She wanted to leave her castle just a minute ago, but now she wanted to stay. Tears began to roll down her cheeks as she began praying a guard would catch them. What would this man do to her? What did he want? Probably money or something.

Smashing his back foot into the loose stone again he pushed it out of the way. Still holding tightly onto her he knelt down and pushed her to her knees. Grabbing a large handful of her hair he shook her lightly to get her attention. "No a peep... Got it?" He hissed harshly as he took the knife from her neck and crawled through the hole. Tugging on her hair he pulled her after him forcing her to follow. When they were through he didnt bother again with the stone but instead picked her up once more and began to walk through the streets.

Tugging her along they turned a corner only to see a patrolling guard. Apparently they werent far enough away from the castle yet. Conscealing his dagger away in his cloak he pulled her close to him as if they were a couple. Giving her side a few warning pokes they walked slowly side by side down the street towards the guard. "Don't you dare say a thing..." He growled in her ear softly.

When he pulled her by the hair, she began to sob, realizing the danger of the situation. He wasnâ??t being delicate with her at all. She followed him, trying to contain her sobs, and then when she saw the guard she began to think of a way to get his attention. He would no doubt kill her before she could escape, if she just screamed for help. However, maybe if she gave him signals, he would separate the two.

She stared at him, and when his eyes met with hers, she began to blink one eye rapidly. She wasnâ??t sure if sheâ??d be able to get him to believe she was in trouble by doing that, but she would try. She had to, otherwise, sheâ??d be taken to god knows where.
