We are kinda old school like that. But here you go!!
When you get a chance, please check out The Site Rules. If you happen to have any questions or run into any problems, the Help Desk can likely be a great place to start.
You might have noticed your username is gray, which means that your account has not been granted full access yet. You'll be granted a majority access to the forums by making your introduction post, however full access will not be granted until after your account has been registered for 24 hours and you have accumulated at least a total of 3 posts. You can receive PMs from other members and reply to them, you just won't be able to initiate private conversations until you get full access. In the mean time, feel free to create your own request thread, poke around the general discussion, forum games, or pop into the chatroom and socialize. Get to know the site and its members!
We are all a pretty friendly group for the most part, we are very happy to have you here with us and look forward to you find your own place among us.

That is a good question. Present it to a GM perhaps and it very well may get changed.
