She watched carefully as he scooped up the rice and put it in his mouth, watching for his reaction. "Hmm? So how is it? I was trying to make it rather mild, but sometimes it gets spicy anyway." She went to eat some herself, putting some in her mouth. "Hmm...this is a bit spicier than usual, but it's still pretty good to me."
 
He grinned and began to eat the rice a little faster "This is great, the texture is funny, but the flavour is great" he ate it faster then you should, and ended up hicupping. "Oh da-hic-m..." he blushed as he tried to get rid of the hiccups, holding his breath.
 
"Is it now? That's good to hear." she said, eating a bit more. She lifted her head slightly as she heard him hiccup, making her giggle a bit. "Ah, is that what my food does to people?" she joked, getting up to go into the kitchen. She came back with a glass of water and set it down in front of him. "Here you go. It may not get rid of it completely, but it might help."
 
He smiled sheepishly and took the water "Thanks" he gulped it down, still holding his breath. After a short bit he stopped hiccupping "Ahh... that's better" he finished eating the rice before continuing to eat the rest of the steak, munching slower this time, to make sure he didn't get more hiccups.
 
Mina chuckled a bit at how shy he seemed. She was quite satisfied to see that he had finally stopped hiccuping. "Remember to eat slowly from now on, not just to prevent hiccups, but to savor the meal yes?" she said with a playful wink. "Wouldn't want to finishing it up before you really enjoy it."
 
Kotaro smirked, she was right, and continued to eat. After a few more minutes, he was done, his stomach feeling feel from the meal. "Thank you, it was wonderfull" He said smiling at her, setting his utensils down on the plate.
 
"Why thank you." she said, giving him a little smile. She continued to eat her food slowly, finishing up after a few more minutes. "Mmm...I'm stuffed. That was great." She got up to take his plate and utensils, placing them in the sink for now. She'd be getting back to those soon. "Well, that was great. Now we have more time to talk and learn about each other."
 
He got up as she put the plates and utensils in the sink, following in her. He smiled as she spoke "Ok, sure, where shall we talk?" he swayed his tail slightly and his ears twitched slightly, the meal had been very good. And he was beginning to notice how nice she smelt.
 
"Well, how about we head on over to your room? I think it'll also give me a chance to figure out what else I'm going to do to it." She motioned for him to follow her as they headed back to his room, turning every now and then to see that he was following. "Well, is there anything in particular you'd like to have in your room?"
 
He smiled again "Ok, my room it is then" he followed her back to his room, smiling as she looked back at him occationally "Don't worry, you won't lose me" he said smirking slightly. "And well.. That's just it.. I dunno what I need in my room, I've never had a personal space before..."
 
"Ah...I suppose. Well, if there is anything you can think of that you would like, feel free to tell me." she said, leading him back into his room as they both took a seat on the edge of the bed. "Well, let's see. Is there anything in particular that you lie to do, Kotaro? Any games or such?"
 
Kotaro's eyes lit up and he looked at Mina "Well.. I do like.. Umm..." he blushed slightly and smirked "There was with ball of yarn we had back at the store, it was tons of fun to play with, though only if there was more of you.." Kotaro looked at the wall of the room "I guess.... A mirror would be nice.." he laughed slightly.
 
Mina seemed quite amused by his words, figuring a ball of yarn was good for the adorable feline. "That does sound like it would be enjoyable, and I'll be having a mirror for you in no time." she said, scooting over more to pat him softly on the head. "No need to be so shy all right?"
 
Kotaro smiled as she petted him, his ears flattening against his hair on reflex "Heh... It's just... The other made fun of my because it was so 'childish' and that only kittens should play with little toys like that..." He moved closer to her and snuggled into her, his tail swaying on the bed peacefully.
