Just tell me when to block my calendar on Wednesday ^_^
your 5 pm!! my 6 pm!

I misunderstood the timing - I'm supposed to go see Shin Godzilla that night, but if its early afternoon for me I could get in some BG3 before hand. I believe. We'll see if I get interrupted again. :D
and your 11 am, i think! if my calculations are correct. so that would be great!

The Wednesday change is fine by me, I will just have to cut it a little short to get to work which is not problem.
that's okay! it'll still be fun!

@reverie. is so jelly. She might as well be paired with peanut butter.

There should be a mirror in camp that should let you change your appearance and not need to start all over again, though I am sure you aren't serious about actually restarting.

Should be called the Magic Mirror in camp! I don't remember if it lets you change races, but you can change appearances I remember that!

I am sure we can point you to the mirror on Wednesday. :p
Then play as you spend some time fiddling with the looks.

eheheheh....................... might need to add more mods before that then!!

Just make sure you also test the game if you do that.

Careful with adding mods to existing playthroughs! BG3 having the mod manager as part of the game it may not cause issues but typically mods can break stuff if you add them in the middle of a playthrough with other games.

I wasn't able to join on Wednesday last week and I won't be able to this week. Unless my brain doesn't work and EST for some reason doesn't mean Eastern but I presume it does, so I will be at work and wouldn't be getting off until 6 PM EST.

ohhh, is that also a thing................................... oki, then maybe i need to add mods and actually start a new one then, hmmmmm. oki, i guess i have a day to decide, ahahha

we'll try to figure out a time that works for you too!

do you honestly think i will remember all of that. . .. ? or, if i have it up on my second screen, that i will actually remember to use it..... ?? πŸ™ˆ i mean, it looks awesome tho!!
You'll remember it in time. It looks daunting, and it is at first, but the more you play/use the icons, the easier it will become. Muscle-memory or something.

Then again, I play on console, so there's really only so many buttons, and it is easier to remember over a period of time, depending on how long you play. <3

You got this, girlie! 🫢

Hmmmmmm, this seems like an interesting proposition. Hangout and play BG3? Trouble is I play on PS5, so no screen streaming, but I've logged 263 hours in BG3 so far, and I've kinda been thinking about another playthrough....or finishing the one I'm on with my bard, which only just ticked over into act 2 I believe.

it's a lot of fun! and you don't need to stream your screen, but you do need discord to be able to hang out with us! so, if you'd like to see our streams, i recommend you join the call on a laptop or computer 'on the side'.

Oh, I've had discord since it's inception. :p

But I tend to be a bit non-social around strangers. Though, if people hanging out are new to the game or have only done one playthrough and not looked much up, then I might be able to help because it's extremely easy to miss things in act 1 that might make things really fun later on. Like where to find Quasit and how to be able to summon it more than once. Or how to get the owlbear cub as a pet at camp, that sort of thing that can easily be botched.

Though, if people hanging out are new to the game
yes...... i am new, eheh. i think lost was pretty new too, but the others have at least played it a bit!! some, a lot. so feel free to join us on wednesday and/or saturday (i'm gonna make an announcement later that i'll be hosting both, and then set up events in the discord server!)

I might join, then. Could be worth starting over as something really new like a Paladin. Choosing a class is always the hardest part for me, lol. Even knowing the possible companions.

for me, it's the character creation :ROFLMAO: as in, the looks, hahaa

Well, the class you play has a direct effect on how you should look imo because it also determines the kind of armor/clothing you can wear. Though, admittedly I'm always partial to more earrings regardless, ha.

But a bard has to look charming and eloquent, like a performer. A ranger has to look woodsy, and a bit rough around the edges. A rogue has to look sneaky with shifty eyes or a flirty smirk. A paladin has to be stiff and proud, with excellent posture and enough physical strength to carry heavy armor and a two handed warhammer.

And a mage or wizard would be more frail and thin, while a warlock dark of complexion or whatever.

At least that's how the DnD world seems to work in my head
