When he had seen her, suddenly it was as if everything else didn't matter anymore. He would never remember her face, or those long red locks flowing behind her.. and yet she had passed him by in the hall without even saying hello. But what did that matter? Of course she wouldn't remember him, nobody would remember him. And that was why he was confident as he stepped into the Student Services office and cancelled all of his classes. He didn't need them, he had money, and nobody would notice if there was an extra student in the large classes.
He dropped out of classes, but didn't stop going to school, it started off one morning when he saw which class she went to. His 6' 2", broad shouldered and toned form followed her every day, but nobody noticed. He blended in, wearing the most generic clothes he could find, his black short hair worn with spiked bangs, he looked like a typical student. He followed her in, and sat as far in the back as possible. For the longest time, he just watched, but his plan was already starting to form. She would be his, as he always knew, she had lived right next door from him when they were young. Every day, laughing and playing in their shared yard, after school, before school, on the weekends... it never seemed to end. Their experience together had only been for half a year or so, but... one day when he came home from school she had gone. She had left him, she had left him to be all alone. But she had never left his mind, and now, as his eyes burned into the back of her head from the back of the room.. he knew he was right. She would be his.
Years passed, but the alone feeling never left him, his parents, who never spent time with him died when he was 15 in a car accident. He kind of shrugged it off, he'd been by himself for long enough to know how to survive anyways. But now he wouldn't be alone anymore, now he would take her back... he would make her feel awful for leaving him, he would show her how it felt when she abandoned him, but... then, he would show her just how good he'd make her feel. He knew where she was going after this class by now, over to Anthropology, then back to one of her sciences, and then... home. Tomorrow she had an evening class though, a lab was being done late, meaning she'd be coming home at midnight... and that was when he would do more than watch. As soon as the professor had announced it, he had determined the night.
Once he had determined the night, he never stopped working. He followed her every day at school, watched for any friends that may notice her disappearance, but she seemed as focused on her studies as he was on her. That was good, very good for him. He had drove to the location of the lab, and plotted her route home... she'd have to cut through the park to the bus stop, and he picked the parking lot where he'd park his car, the spot where he'd wait, and how he would get her there quick enough. It was all coming together in his mind, as soon as he'd seen her he'd begun work on his home. It was all starting to make sense, and just this very morning he'd finished putting the final touches on her bedroom. Everything was ready for her, and today as he watched her... he smiled, knowing that as of tomorrow, the only thing left he'd have to prepare would be her.
