Ok, here is where I shall be posting occasional poems that I deem satisfactory to place on display.
Now, I must ask that nobody reproduce or copy my work, for legal reasons, if you wish to post them somewhere or quote something, please PM or email me first to ask permission.

Oh, and all feedback and comments are welcome!

Fire

The graceful dance of heated tongues, the crackle of cleansing light,
Your power gave us life, taught us to rise and fight,
Against the powers above that seek to quell,
These 'Gods' care not for things they can not buy, or sell.

But you, you are not concerned with mortal ties,
You care not for anything but climbing up, towards our skies,
Reaching ever higher, growing all the time,
flowing out, touching the world like a rhyme.

We Happy Two

Together, hand in hand we shall march into the abyss and set the world aflame,
Sadly, they guard the gates, they say we are to blame.
And so my love, it is now that I must go, go forth and carry my torch with you,
But know this, I will be there to, always, you and I, we happy two.

I Can See Now

Not this time, I will not let you stand in my way anymore,
I see your system for what it is, a dying whore.

I suggest you climb to the top, and jump from your precious steeple,
No longer shall you rape, burn and pillage my people.

This time instead, it is my turn,
I hold the high cards,
I came prepared, you will burn,
You shall all pay for your crimes against the heart.

To The Grave

Up in flames, Each and Every thing we do,
Why do we even try, and Yes I love you too.
Watch me burn, but know this,
You did this, and all with a kiss.

Fooled me into love,
Told me it was forever,
You were my dove,
Pay attention. So much for forever!

I sacrificed it all, burned my life,
But you killed me, you used my own knife.
Now my name joins the ones I used to save,
A memory sent to the grave…

Aftermath.

Wandering through the darkness I have nothing but my thoughts,
But they only reflect the blackness of this night coloured world,
Who could endure this strangeness, this cold, crushing feeling?

It seems like a sentence, a punishment being wrought,
Though I cannot recall the crime, or who it was that hurled,
That first stone, or several, though now I see the light,
It heat intense, flickering, the paint is peeling.

I fear I slipped up again, now it’s all gone,
Burned to the ground, structure has vanished from it all,
But its black twisted carcass has a sickening aura of beauty,
The world is reborn through fire…
