Isekai awakening

Hi, I would like to tryout to see if there is an interest in an Isekai-like game.

Set in the modern day, where gates to a fantasy realm open, and people can travel between worlds to get resources. Some humans experience awakening, and they gain the ability to view their stats, and gain levels and different skills.

These awakened people and monsters can use "magic" and have superhuman strength and abilities when they gain experience by doing tasks and quests. This is the beginning so everyone is not highly powerful yet, but there are gates leading to other worlds, dungeons and resource filled places where monsters may come out as well.

I was thinking of having a "gate" concept where the characters can visit dungeons and other time periods (may not be earth)

Are we planning to have any timelines? 1900s, 1940s, 1980s? present?

If it is a gate concept, we can have a main timeline but characters can be from other timeline too?
Should we have main timeline on the character sheets?
