The premise of this roleplay comes from the comic book/TV series The Boys but it will follow its own plotline so a general knowledge of the source material is sufficient rather than a careful study. The condensed version is that this is a world where superheroes have been secretly created by a powerful corporation for the purpose of gaining money and influence. This results in a population of supes that is mostly but not entirely narcissistic, hedonistic, and amoral. They tend to parody existing DC and Marvel characters. For instance, the premier team is the Seven, which is analogous to the Justice League.

This roleplay will center on Team Titanic, a group briefly mentioned in the comics. They are “grown-up sidekicks,” much like the not-Teen-anymore Titans, marketed to appeal to the youth audience. Membership fluctuates as their corporate bosses decide someone is too old for the demo. Characters will be original creations, fitting with the universe inspiration from next generation heroes from DC and Marvel is highly encouraged. Themes to be explored include celebrity, corruption, and vice. Maybe they’ll actually do some good now and then.
