The year is 2025. The Earth has been changed. Several weather phenomena left the Earth in a state of flux. Droughts in some areas and superstorms in others. The governments have either locked down, fallen apart or went their own ways. Communication still exists, but is becoming more difficult to maintain. However, life goes on as it always has... as it always will.

The Eden Project was activated.

Founded by a group of techocrats, green believers and other misfits, the idea was to try and rebuild the world through green technology while embracing various other cultures. It was a new opportunity. For the first decade, it was focused mainly on Africa, specifically in the Kongo. Various funds were used through different means to fund it and there was alot of desperate people acting as mercernaries to secure power. The Kongo became the central command and within a decade, has become one of the fastest recoverying powers and spreading slowly across Africa.

However, now the focus was across the rest of the world, including the former United States. Around the South, Diego Vendrix was exploring what used to be his home state. Only small towns of gun nuts were around besides the massive city state of Atlanta. Currently, he was looking to see if there was anyone around after the massive hurricane within the area.

Isabel Reyes had barely been more than a teenager when the change had hit, striking the world with natural disasters that left the people of the earth struggling. At twenty-one she had barely finished school but she had, and over the next seven years that proved more than helpful. It started small, a group of people who united and banded together, working to try to bring back the world that they had once known.

Her community started as a band of eclectic survivors, people who were simply trying to keep going. With any form of structure gone, the journey was perilous. Many went rogue, looting and marauding and causing trouble. They moved from camp to camp, settlement to settlement. After a few years, the small group that Isa had made herself part of had found a gated settlement in rural Georgia. They had grown from five to ten to twenty and from there stagnated in population, though the small village that had been formed became Isa's pride and joy.

Until the hurricane hit.

One thing or another always happened, and now the group was struggling once again. The leader, an ex-soldier by the name of Frederick Samson, had been killed as their home flooded and several other lives too. Now that it was over, Isa was left dealing with the aftermath. How much could one even do with as little as she had now?

Regardless, for now the survivors lived in an abandoned farmhouse, five of them left - two of which were injured. Isabel was growing tired, but she would not give up.

It was years since he was over in Georgia. Diego Vendrix was wearing the special suit to walk through the place. It kept him cool and comfortable and monitored his health. It was done through the special smart-fibers the suit was made out of. It was like a jumpsuit along with a helmet. Granted, everything was made through renewable processes or technologies, even fi it was recycling old smartphone parts and such for this.

He was looking for any communities here over, besides the stuff in Atlanta. However, he then saw it. It was an abandoned farmhouse. Diego went over to knock on it, to check to see if anyone was inside.

"Hello, is everyone okay?" Diego asked them as he was opening the door.

As soon as Isabel's ears toned in on the sound of heavy footsteps outside of the barn, she was on guard. She was the closest thing to a leader that her small group had left, as well as the least injured one. When the door creaked open, panic flickered through a pale five year old's eyes as he clung to a black woman, obviously not his mother yet still the closest thing that he had left. A man pulled himself to his feet only to succumb to a knee injury that had left himself wounded, and a teenaged boy rushed to his side. Isabel, however, had to stay strong.

She was prepared to fight when the doors opened, but she did not want to. Isa valued peace, and so when the man's figure was revealed, she stood tall. There's a slight hint of hostility in her tone as she spoke; she was obviously protective of these people and distrusting of strangers. Her voice wavered and it was at least personally obvious that she was still not comfortable being in a leading position. "Depends - who are you and what do you want?"

Diego stood there as he examined the group. It was a small one of several people injured and it definitely looked like they all needed to be treated and such. He noted the young woman's strong position and her being firm.

Diego lifted the helmet up. "My name is Diego and I'm here to help you out. I already can tell there is alot of injured people and you all like hungry and tired. I am here to say that it is going to be okay," Diego told them with a smile.

He then went out for a moment before coming back in with a box filled with grown food along with a few products. Outside was a large airship that Diego was walking from. They used it to carry large loads and groups of people.
