Hard cider is a bit like beer in terms of alcohol content, depending on which brand you buy. In the states, we also have things like Mike's Hard Lemonade, or there was a Hard Cola of some sort around a while ago. All good choices for the low-level consumer.

However, a narwhal's body weight demands a more potent delivery mechanism. Hence the full-on booze.
 
Fact: There are few beers that I enjoy. Almost nothing American. American beer tastes like ass, ESPECIALLY Budweiser.
Fact: If I want beer, it must be Labatt Blue, Molson XXX or maybe Heineken
Fact: Vodka and cola sounds disgusting
