So, a little background on the world I want to play in: basically, I want our world, but with way less hangups on sex. Sure, it's still a bit scandalous if a celebrity has a sex tape put out or anything, but it's more just gossip and interest than the kinda craziness we see in our world. Same with if a woman gets into a relationship with a younger guy, or multiple guys. My character is a top level athlete in her chosen sport (up for debate, could be MMA, pro wrestling, hockey, American football, softball, whatever) who is known for a) being one of the best in the world at her sport, b) having a good sense of humour and humility about her fame, c) liking to use said fame to help worthy causes and d) not being ashamed of showing off her body (doing photo shoots and calendars, that kinda stuff).
One day on Twitter, a major porn production company makes a joking tweet at her, something about "We'd love to show the world how great you really are at stickhandling" (if she's a hockey player, for example; similarly silly sex joke that works for whatever sport she plays), and my character responds jokingly that if the porn company is willing to put up the money for some cause she cares about (paying for her country's amateur softball team to go to the Olympics, for example), she'd consider it. Well, her agent gets a call from the porn company agreeing to her terms. She decides it's worthwhile and agrees to do the porn shoot.
